    - by Kevin
    I'm having a problem with getting my radio buttons laid out (and checkboxes) correctly in IE8 .. Firefox, Chrome, Opera all working however .. Here is a screenshot of the problem The code is below: <label for="AdditionalResponses_0__Response" id="AdditionalResponses_0__Response_Label">Single answer</label> <div class="row " id="AdditionalResponses_0__Response"> <input id="AdditionalResponses_0__Response_one" name="AdditionalResponses[0].Response" type="radio" value="one" /> <label for="AdditionalResponses_0__Response_one" id="AdditionalResponses_0__Response_one_Label">one</label> <input id="AdditionalResponses_0__Response_two" name="AdditionalResponses[0].Response" type="radio" value="two" /> <label for="AdditionalResponses_0__Response_two" id="AdditionalResponses_0__Response_two_Label">two</label> <input id="AdditionalResponses_0__Response_three" name="AdditionalResponses[0].Response" type="radio" value="three" /> <label for="AdditionalResponses_0__Response_three" id="AdditionalResponses_0__Response_three_Label">three</label> <input id="AdditionalResponses_0__Response_four" name="AdditionalResponses[0].Response" type="radio" value="four" /> <label for="AdditionalResponses_0__Response_four" id="AdditionalResponses_0__Response_four_Label">four</label> </div> Sorry for the one long line, but that's how I got it through the source.. Here is the CSS: .row input (line 471) { float: left; display: inline; width: 16px; height: 16px; margin-top: 0pt; margin-right: 5px; margin-bottom: 0pt; margin-left: 0pt; } .row label (line 479) { float: none; font-weight: normal; font-size: 12px; line-height: 16px; } div.panes label (line 70) { font-size: 95%; font-weight: bold; color: #222222; line-height: 150%; padding-bottom: 3px; display: block; }

  • Reorder cells in a UITableView without displaying a "delete" button

    - by iter
I want to be able to reorder cells in a table, but not to delete or insert them. I want a picture like this: This image appears in Apple's Table View Programming Guige, but the code samples there produce a table with red "delete" buttons when the table goes into editing mode. I can set editingStyleForRowAtIndexPath to UITableViewCellEditingStyleNone and that makes the delete buttons go away, but the rows are still indented as if to make room for these buttons.

  • Radio Button with html.radiobutton ASP.NET MVC

    - by vikitor
Hello, I'm a newbie to all this ASP.NET MVC stuff, and I was making some tests for my project. I wanted to ask how is it possible to introduce a javascript function call from the html.radiobutton function. For example, how would you declare this: <input type="radio" name = "Kingdom" value = "All" onclick="GetSelectedItem(this);" checked ="checked" /> with html.radiobutton. I've been looking for some documentation, but I don't really get to understand, I guess it has something to do with the html object attributes, but don't really know the syntax and I haven't found any example. Thank you all in advance :) vikitor

  • Styling hyperlink button inside a data template in Silverlight

    - by cmaduro
How do I change the visual state of a hyperlinkbutton inside a datatemplate? In short, what I'm doing is basically I'm trying to iterate of the hyperlinkbuttons and set their visual state to active or inactive according to the url. The hyperlink buttons are located inside the datatemplate of an itemscontrols itemsource that is bound to a List where link is my custom class for links. Is there a best practice for styling the active hyperlink in a silverlight nav app? What I am using is the approach of the boilerplate code.

  • Pause code execution until UIAlertView button is pressed?

    - by JuBu1324
One of my methods sends a message to an object (what do you know about that), and expects a BOOL for an answer. However, BOOL answer it is expecting is based on the answer to a UIAlertView created in the receiving object's method. However, the code doesn't pause while waiting for the user to answer the UIAlertView. My problem is: how do I use -alertView:clickedButtonAtIndex in the method's return value? Here's the code the message runs (in this construction, I was expecting navigateAwayFromTab to change based on the user input in the UIAlertView, but it never gets a chance): - (BOOL)readyToNavigateAwayFromTab { NSLog( @"message received by Medical View"); navigateAwayFromTab = NO; UIAlertView *alert = [[UIAlertView alloc] initWithTitle:@"Navigate Away From Tab?" message:@"Navigating away from this tab will save your work." delegate:self cancelButtonTitle:@"Cancel" otherButtonTitles:@"OK", nil ]; [alert show]; [alert release]; return navigateAwayFromTab; } #define CANCEL 0 #define OK 1 - (void)alertView:(UIAlertView *)alertView clickedButtonAtIndex:(NSInteger)buttonIndex { if( buttonIndex == OK ) navigateAwayFromTab = YES; } I've been reading up on the modal UIAlertView debate, and I agree with apple's implementation - at lest as the rule. However, in this case I don't see any way of solving the problem by putting code in -alertView:clickedButtonAtIndex because I don't need to run code based on the UIAlertView, I just need to read the response. Any suggestions on how I can reach my gaol? I've tried a while loop after [alert show] already, but then the alert doesn't even show then, and for a number of reasons I can't use -viewWillDisapear.

  • How to get selected values from a dynamically created DropDownList Array after PostBack (Button Click)

    - by user739280
I have a CheckBoxList that contains Employee Names on a Wizard Step. When employees are selected and the active step is changed, the Wizard1_ActiveStepChanged function is called and it dynamically creates a DropDownList Array for each employee that is selected. Each DropDownList specifies a condition of the employee. The DropDownList is created properly. When the user clicks submit, the DropDownList array is deleted and no selected values can be pulled from the array. I understand this is an issue with the PostBack and can be fixed with ViewState, but I am trying to figure out what I can do to fix it. ViewState is enabled for the checkboxlist and the DropDownList. This is what I have in the body of my System.Web.UI.Page class private int empcount; private DropDownList[] DDL_Emp { get { return (DropDownList[])ViewState["DDL_Emp"]; } set { ViewState["DDL_Emp"] = value; } } The relevant code: protected void Wizard1_ActiveStepChanged(object sender, EventArgs e) { if (Request.QueryString["type"] == "Accident" && BulletedList1.Items.Count > 0) { this.empcount = 0; for (int i = 0; i < CBL_EmpInvolved.Items.Count; i++) { if (CBL_EmpInvolved.Items[i].Selected) { this.empcount++; } } if(this.empcount > 0) { this.DDL_Emp = new DropDownList[this.empcount]; for (int i = 0, j=0; i < CBL_EmpInvolved.Items.Count; i++) { if (CBL_EmpInvolved.Items[i].Selected) { List<ListItem> cond = new List<ListItem>(); cond.Add(new ListItem("Disabled", CBL_EmpInvolved.Items[i].Value)); cond.Add(new ListItem("Diseased - Fatality", CBL_EmpInvolved.Items[i].Value)); cond.Add(new ListItem("On Treatment - Short Term Disability", CBL_EmpInvolved.Items[i].Value)); cond.Add(new ListItem("On Treatment - Long Term Disability", CBL_EmpInvolved.Items[i].Value)); cond.Add(new ListItem("Treated - Back to Work", CBL_EmpInvolved.Items[i].Value)); cond.Add(new ListItem("Treated - Relocated", CBL_EmpInvolved.Items[i].Value)); cond.Add(new ListItem("Treated - Transferred", CBL_EmpInvolved.Items[i].Value)); this.DDL_Emp[j] = new DropDownList(); this.DDL_Emp[j].ID = "DD_LabCondition_" + CBL_EmpInvolved.Items[i].Value; this.DDL_Emp[j].EnableViewState = true; this.DDL_Emp[j].Visible = true; this.DDL_Emp[j].Items.AddRange(cond.ToArray()); this.DDL_Emp[j].Items.Insert(0, new ListItem("-- Select condition of employee: " + CBL_EmpInvolved.Items[i].Text, "")); PH_LabCondition.Controls.Add(this.DDL_Emp[j]); j++; } } PH_LabCondition.Visible = true; MV_LabCondition.Visible = true; Label1_ReportTitle.Text += "Control Count: " + PH_LabCondition.Controls.Count.ToString(); } MV_LabCondition.ActiveViewIndex = 1; MV_LostTime.ActiveViewIndex = 1; } } This code is giving me the following error now: Type 'System.Web.UI.WebControls.DropDownList' in Assembly 'System.Web, Version=4.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b03f5f7f11d50a3a' is not marked as serializable. I've tried changing buttons to images, playing with the AutoPostBack feature. I'm lost on how to get my dropdownlist array saved to the ViewState and accessing it after the postback.

  • How to make radio button options dependent on other radio button choices using Mootools?

    - by Mike Crittenden
I have a form where there are 6 items, each of which can be ranked from 1-6 in order of importance. Here's a screenshot. Basically, I need to set it up so that if one item gets a ranking of 3 (for example), then "3" becomes disabled for all the other items. Therefore, the user should only be able to select a number that hasn't already been selected for each item (so we can ensure that the items really will be ranked 1-6 and no numbers will be repeated for different items). Here's the markup I'm working with (minus the presentational divs): <label for="importantProductQuality">Product Quality</label> <input id="importantProductQuality_0" name="importantProductQuality" value="1" type="radio"> <label for="importantProductQuality_0">1</label> <input id="importantProductQuality_1" name="importantProductQuality" value="2" type="radio"> <label • - Button's positioning on UIToolBar in IB -

    - by gotye
Hey guys, As a fervent adept of IB, I created a UIToolBar (in IB of course) and added to it a few buttons. So far so good ... but then I tried to move each of them to the right position but IB doesn't let me do it ... Each time I try to scroll them IB moves them back to the former position ! Is there a way to choose their position in IB ? If not, could you give me a piece of code for me to choose their position programatically ? (sigh :D) Thanks, Gotye.

    - by AgA
I always Hibernate my PC. Sometimes when I boot, it does not recognize the mouse/keyboard or any USB devices. I've also setup it to go in sleep in 5 minutes. In that case I can't restart the PC so that USB starts working. When I press the Power button then it starts shutdown but asks confirmation twice, one is for shutdown by force confirmation and then there is one more. When my USB is disabled I can't input these options. So I switch off the power. What I want is that upon pressing Power Button it should at once start shutdown without asking any more confirmations System details: Win-7 Home Premium 64 bit Intel i3 530 Asus P montherboard EDIT: It is Desktop PC

I've defined my DataTable as such: IColumn<Column>[] columns = new IColumn[9]; //column values are mapped to the private attributes listed in ColumnImpl.java columns[0] = new PropertyColumn(new Model("#"), "columnPosition", "columnPosition"); columns[1] = new PropertyColumn(new Model("Description"), "description"); columns[2] = new PropertyColumn(new Model("Type"), "dataType", "dataType"); Adding it to the table: DataTable<Column> dataTable = new DataTable<Column>("columnsTable", columns, provider, maxRowsPerPage) { @Override protected Item<Column> newRowItem(String id, int index, IModel<Column> model) { return new OddEvenItem<Column>(id, index, model); } }; My data provider: public class ColumnSortableDataProvider extends SortableDataProvider<Column> { private static final long serialVersionUID = 1L; private List list = null; public ColumnSortableDataProvider(Table table, String sortProperty) { this.list = Arrays.asList(table.getColumns().toArray(new Column[0])); setSort(sortProperty, true); } public ColumnSortableDataProvider(List list, String sortProperty) { this.list = list; setSort(sortProperty, true); } @Override public Iterator iterator(int first, int count) { /* first - first row of data count - minimum number of elements to retrieve So this method returns an iterator capable of iterating over {first, first+count} items */ Iterator iterator = null; try { if(getSort() != null) { Collections.sort(list, new Comparator() { private static final long serialVersionUID = 1L; @Override public int compare(Column c1, Column c2) { int result=1; PropertyModel<Comparable> model1= new PropertyModel<Comparable>(c1, getSort().getProperty()); PropertyModel<Comparable> model2= new PropertyModel<Comparable>(c2, getSort().getProperty()); if(model1.getObject() == null && model2.getObject() == null) result = 0; else if(model1.getObject() == null) result = 1; else if(model2.getObject() == null) result = -1; else result = ((Comparable)model1.getObject()).compareTo(model2.getObject()); result = getSort().isAscending() ? result : -result; return result; } }); } if (list.size() (first+count)) iterator = list.subList(first, first+count).iterator(); else iterator = list.iterator(); } catch (Exception e) { e.printStackTrace(); } return iterator; } The problem is the following: - I click a column header to sort by that column. - I navigate to a different page - I click Back (or Forward if I do the opposite scenario) - Page has expired. It'd be nice to generate the page using PageParameters but I somehow need to intercept the sort event to do so. Any pointers would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a ton!! David

  • clicking the debug button in Eclipse will not start debug mode

    - by iHorse
i am running Eclipse 3.5.0 on a MacBook Pro using the Android SDK. i noticed that on this particular project i am working on i cant seem to actually enter debug mode. i click the little green bug icon in the tool bar and the app starts and runs. but if i switch over to the Debug Perspective i see no indication that it is running in debug mode. furthermore i can not hit any brake points that i have set. this makes debugging code a bit hard. Other projects that i am working on don't have this issue. any ideas on what i need to change in the project to get this to work?

  • Right-Align and Vertical Align label with checkbox/radio button CSS

    - by Jon
Hi Everyone, I'm very close and have this working in Safari, Firefox and IE8, however IE7 the labels and radio buttons do not align vertically. My HTML is: <div id="master-container"> <fieldset id="test"> <legend>This is a test of my CSS</legend> <ul class="inputlist"> <li> <label for="test1">Test 1</label> <input name="test1" id="test1" type="checkbox" disabled="disabled"/> </li> <li> <label for="test2">Test 2</label> <input name="test2" id="test2" type="checkbox" disabled="disabled"/> </li> </ul> </fieldset> </div> My CSS Is: html{font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;} #master-container{width:615px;font-size:12px;} ul.inputlist{list-style-type:none;} ul.inputlist li{width:100%;margin-bottom:5px;} ul.inputlist li label{width:30px; text-align:right; margin-right:7px;float:left;} Any suggestions? Thanks! EDIT: Based on the suggestion to check the rest of my html and css. I updated the code above and now it accurately demonstrates the problem. If I take font-size out of #master-container it lines up but then it is not the proper font-size. I tried to add a font-size to ul.inputlist li input but that didn't help. Any suggestions? Thanks for your help everyone!

  • IPHONE MPMoviePlayer: Playing video under button layers that can be interacted with while video play

    - by nicholas
I would like to have layers of buttons over video playing in the background on my IPHONE application. Basically, I'm looking to adjust the Movie Player code, in order to allow the application user to tap on different portions of the screen while a video plays and call other commands (for example a video of puppets talking, if you touch one of the puppets, the video pauses and a second (smaller) window appears with a list of information about that puppet; when you exit that list, the video continues where it was paused).

  • jsf submit button not wrking

    - by tejas-a
I am using hx:commandExButton of IBM Faces Client Framework to call my method. But the method is not getting called. But if I use immediate="true" it's getting called. But as you all know with this my model won't get updated, so it has no use to me. Has anyone faced this?
