  • getcwd for current location based on ftp account permission

    - by John Doe
Hello. I'm trying to make a small script that's changing the permission for specific file using a ftp connection. My problem is the absolute path. I have a ftp account wich land on the script directory (/script/). If i'm using getcwd, it will return the whole path (/home/user/public_html/script) but i need only the difference between the full path and the current path (getcwd path: /home/user/public_html/script/ ftp landing path: /script). So, how can i use getcwd to get the current directory for a ftp account? For example, if the user is landing in public_html, the path to the script will be /script/, or if he is landing inside /user, the path will be /public_html/script. Thanks

  • C++/CLI : Interop window is not properly configured

    - by raytaller
Hi, I'm trying to load a WPF control in a C++/CLI application, using the HwndSource class. Here is my code : UBOOL MyWindowWrapper::Init(const HWND InParentWindowHandle) { Interop::HwndSourceParameters sourceParams( "WindowName" ); sourceParams.PositionX = 0; sourceParams.PositionY = 0; sourceParams.ParentWindow = (IntPtr)InParentWindowHandle; sourceParams.WindowStyle = (WS_VISIBLE | WS_CHILD); sourceParams.HwndSourceHook = nullptr; InteropWindow = gcnew Interop::HwndSource(sourceParams); Control = gcnew MyWPFUserControl(); InteropWindow-RootVisual = Control; InteropWindow-AddHook( gcnew Interop::HwndSourceHook( this, &MyWindowWrapper::MessageHookFunction ) ); return TRUE; } And I define a Hook function so the keyboard events are passed to the window : IntPtr MyWindowWrapper::MessageHookFunction( IntPtr HWnd, int Msg, IntPtr WParam, IntPtr LParam, bool% OutHandled ) { IntPtr Result = (IntPtr)0; OutHandled = false; if( Msg == WM_GETDLGCODE ) { OutHandled = true; // This tells Windows that we'll need keyboard events for this control Result = IntPtr( DLGC_WANTALLKEYS | DLGC_WANTCHARS | DLGC_WANTMESSAGE ); } return Result; } And here are my problems : The window title is empty (so the "WindowName" parameter is not taken in account) Only some keyboard events are transferred : space, control, arrows are ok, but I can't type any character in all the text boxes What am I doing wrong ? Thanks !

  • Rails caches_page :index in Wrong Location

    - by Andy
I have a controller Projects in my Rails app with: caches_page :index However, instead of the cached file being generated at /public/projects/index.html it is located at /public/projects.html. The web server (currently Mongrel) looks for */ directories before *.html files. So the http://…/projects request is routed through Rails and my index cache file is never served. How can I tell caches_page :index to generate the file at /public/projects/index.html instead?

  • Using UNC path as paths location in Mecurial IIS6 Server2003

    - by Chris M
I'm running the latest Mercurial and Python 2.6; IIS6 is using the wildcard ISAPI method to attach the site to the Mecurial hgwebdir_wsgi [paths] \ = \\COMP3254\TestRepo\* [web] baseurl = / allow_push = * push_ssl = false style = monoblue The setup works perfectly if I reference the local drive E:\repo* but doesnt work if I specify the network as above; I've given the server (MERCDEV01$) full permissions on the shared folder on COMP3254, I can't think of any other reason it wouldn't work. Any ideas?

  • Tile Engine: Entity location wrong

    - by Trizicus
    I've made a tile engine that has 30px by 30px. I've ran into a problem with an object for example. I've loaded an object 20px by 20px and when I do a collision check I have to use x/y position which is top left in Java2D. How can I do collision detection based on the entire object? This is relevant code: boolean checkCol() { int currentGridX = ship.getX()/30; int currentGridY = ship.getY()/30; if(test[currentGridX][currentGridY] == 0) return true; System.out.println("collision"); return false; }

  • How to send data from an opened window back to its opener in WPF.

    - by TravisPUK
In WPF I have one window opening a second window that allows some data selections to occur on. Once the selections have been made I then want to submit/close the second/sub window and have the data pushed back to the opening/parent window. I can push data into the sub window from the parent via public properties, but have not worked out how to get it back the other way. Can anyone help please? The code I am using to open the window and set some properties is has follows: Dim wdwContacts As New appContacts() wdwContacts.selClientID = selClientID wdwContacts.selEmailToCCType = selEmailToCCType wdwContacts.pullToAddresses = txEmailTo.Text wdwContacts.pullCCAddresses = txEmailCC.Text wdwContacts.Owner = Me wdwContacts.WindowStartupLocation = Windows.WindowStartupLocation.CenterOwner wdwContacts.Show() The basis is that I have the first window as an email composition page that has a button that when clicked brings up a list of email contacts. It brings through any previously selected email addresses from the first window and auto selects them on the sub window/email list. If further selections are made on the email list, when the op clicks the done/submit/close button it pushes the new selection list back into the relevant TextBox on the first/parent window. Thanks

  • Location of MFT file?

    - by baltusaj
I have a partition, formatted as NTFS. I have studied that devices formatted as NTFS have a MFT (Master File Table) which contains a lot of information about the contents of a devices. Is MFT really a file? Where is it located? How can I view it? I, actually want to view the $BITMAP to know the locations of all the files and directories in a partition. Update: Seems like I can only view the MFT file using HexEditor. Still searching for more options though...

  • Querying a perimeter around a Geocode-Location (Lat/Lon)

    - by Tim
Hi, how can I search for geo-objects in a certain perimeter ? E.g. I have several objects with Lat/Lon coordinates stored in my DB. Now I want to retrieve all the objects which lie in a specific perimeter (10 miles or 20 miles) around a given point. I guess what I would have to do is to form some query like: SELECT * FROM objects o where o.lat < (myPositionLat+x) AND o.lon < (myPositionLon+y) Is this right? How do I determine/set the values for x and y?

  • Returning a users lat lng as a string iPhone

    - by Joshmattvander
Is there a way to return the users location as a string from a model? I have a model thats job is to download same JSON data from a web service. When sending in my request I need to add ?lat=LAT_HERE&lng=LNG_HERE to the end of the string. I have seen tons of examples using the map or constantly updating a label. But I cant find out how to explicitly return the lat and lng values. Im only 2 days into iPhone dev so go easy on me :)

  • Location of code when sending HTML Email

    - by ChrisWesAllen
I'm trying to figure out where to put some code in an email. You know how you can get newsletters with styling and images, etc? I wanted to send some out but I cant figure out where to put the code. Do you add the images as attachments? Do you put the code in the body? or should you upload the .html file as well?

  • ASP.NET MVC image upload store location (db vs filesystem)

    - by adrin
I am writing web application using ASP.NET MVC + NHibernate + Postres stack. I wonder if images uploaded should be stored in database as binary blobs or on filesystem (and reference only in db). One advantage of db storage I can think of is easy backup/recovery of all data without reverting to filesystem copy tools. On the other hand I suspect that filesystem access may be faster (but is it especially when dealing with many concurrent requests?) What are your suggestions?

  • The conventional location for storing my Java libraries and applications in UNIX based systems

    - by Bytecode Ninja
I usually store the Java applications and JAR files that I download from the Web in the ~/Java folder on my computer (an OS X machine). I have been doing this since the days when I was a Windows user. However I think in UNIX based systems user local apps are conventionally stored in another directory. I have a feeling that this directory should either be /usr/local/, /usr/local/USERNAME, /opt/local, or /opt/local/USERNAME but I am not sure. Any ideas which directory can I use for this purpose? Please note that, I am talking about archive files that I download from the Web, unpack and use locally and not programs that have installation scripts or MacPorts, etc.
