    Hi, I currently use KeePassX to manage my passwords on my Linux (Xubuntu) machine. It's nice to have all the passwords encrypted, but sometimes I'd like to be able to tell a password when I'm on the run. Therefore I'm looking for a solution which I can synchronize with my phone. I have a Nokia N82 which is a Symbian OS v9.2 based phone for the S60 3rd Edition platform with Feature Pack 1. I like an open source solution if it's possible. In case it isn't I wouldn't mind paying for a good solution. If Windows may be added to the synchronization mix it's nice, but it's absolutely not a primary requirement (I don't even have any computer running Windows).

    I am getting a BSOD Error when Running Windows Phone 7.1 Emulator on Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit, Each time I run the Emulator, it Results in Blue Screen. This is a Fresh Install, This Error also Occurred with my last Windows Install (That is why I formatted the Windows Again), I have already Tried to Re-install it, it also shows "Windows Phone Emulator is Doing a Complete OS boot" (Even at Fresh Install, I know it happens when using Unlocked Emulator Images). I am not able to Test any of my app. Please Help !! EDIT: I am not Running a VM, it is on a Physical Machine.

I want it so that people can click on the left or right image in each cell, and something different happens based on the cell number. So if they click on the left image for cell in row 1, a function gets call with the row number they clicked on, and an indicator telling me they clicked on the left image and not the right image.   • Broad Band LAN connection through existing 6 wire phone line ( no phone connected )

    I have an (up to but never achieved ) 10 mb broadband signal coming into my house along the telephone line. The modem then connects the broadband signal via a LAN connection and Wi-Fi signal to my computers and iPad. My workshop desk is 54 yards (approx. 50m) downhill from the modem (part of a separate building) – too far to give a good direct signal. The inside corner of the workshop (by a window) receives a weak signal. I have a disconnected telephone cable consisting of 6 wires going from the house to the workshop. The telephone is no longer used in the workshop - we use our mobile number for business calls. A broad band signal using the cable would not have to share with a phone. What would be the most economic price/efficient way to get the broadband signal to the workshop? I am writing in hope that since the telephone didn't need the six wires, an Ethernet connection might be similar and not need all the eight wires for a LAN connection. In theory could use the telephone wire to pull an Ethernet cable trough the underground pipe but I doubt if the cable would survive the strain. The broad band connection in the workshop does not have to have network facility. My skill level is high enough to do house wiring, plumbing and gas fitting; so given any sound advice and a wiring diagram or instructions I can probably work out the rest myself.

  • UITableViewCell no userInteraction but on cell.accessoryView

    hello genius and nerds I have a TableViewCell with a UISwitch in accessoryView. I don't want that blue background if someone selected it. There fore i used cell.userInteractionEnabled = NO; but then the whole cell isnt accessable so i tried that cell.userInteractionEnabled = NO; cell.accessoryView.userInteractionEnabled = YES; i think this wont work because cell is the parent of the accessoryView. but how can i manage this issue ? A hint in the right direction would be great.     Hi I an issue with editors in a JTable. I have a column which displays data as 26,687,489,800.00 ie: Double. When the user clicks the cell to edit the data it is displayed as -2.66874908E10.     We're managing some system bugs in a web system and setting priority for execs in a spreadsheet. Each of the tickets has a "FD-" and four numbers as the ID. The web system has a hyperlink that has that "FD-####" at the end of the link. The end result would look like this -- http://www.mytickets.com/FD-#### I'd like to run a macro that finds all the FD-#### and inserts a hyperlink on each. There may be multiple FD-#### in a single cell and there will certainly be other text in there. I'd go through each and add the link but there are over 150 or so. Thanks!

  • Windows Phone 7, login screen redirect and a case for .exit?

    I know this has been discussed ad nauseum, but I want to present my case.... 1. My start page in my app is login.xaml. The user logs in, the username and password are authenticated through my WCF service, the username is saved in isolated storage, and then the user is redirected to mainpage.xaml. When a user starts my app, and they already have a saved username in isolated storage, they are redirected to mainpage.xaml If the user hit's "back" hard button from mainpage.xaml, they are redirected to the login screen, which in turn redirects them back to the mainpage.xaml since they already have a saved local username. This is causing my app to fail certification currently since the user cannot hit the "back" button to exit the app from mainpage.xaml. My instinct here is to override the BackKeyPress in mainpage.xaml and exit the app somehow. By reading the other posts, I can see that this method is not available. My second idea was to somehow store a property in the app.xaml.cs page that would tell the app to exit when the login page is loaded and that property is set to true, but that seems a bit hacky as well.... Any ideas here?

    I'm building a Windows Phone application and my client has given me a list of languages that he would like the App to be localized for. The problem is that some of those languages are not supported by Windows Phone and I then decided to check out the list of supported langauges which is available here. I noticed that there are two OS option for Windows Phone, i.e. 7.0 and 7.1 but during development I am not sure of how to check for which OS the phone is running so that I know which list of languages to supply to the user. I'd like to know how to check if the Windows Phone OS is 7.0 or 7.1 (I'm assuming that his caters for later OS versions that might have come after the list was created)

    I notice that some programs (e.g. sqlite, mysql client) provide a command-line prompt that is very similar in capabilities to the bash's, including: line editing with left and right arrows, delete, insert, ^K, etc. history browsing with up and down arrows ^R for reverse i-search in command history which make me think that they are using the same toolset for this. I'd like to create a prompt with similar capabilities in my program, which tools can I use? I prefer it to have the same functionality as in bash, so that the users would be familiar with it.

    Spin off question Is it possible to hack a SIM card to add a javacard application on it (to properly format international numbers)? If yes, how? Original Question In my previous phone carrier I could just dial +55 11 99883655 and it would just work. Now I moved to a new carrier and it doesn't work anymore! When I dial the same international number it keeps saying the number isn't formated correctly. How can I get my iPhone to understand international numbering back again? I've got over 100 contacts with numbers stored in this format already, and I want to keep them that way. edit: I originally asked this question here, moved it to apple stackexchange and now I'm bringing a new one (hopefuly).
