  Hi, I have to built dynamically equations like following: x + x/3 + (x/3)/4 + (x/3/4)/2 = 50 Now I would like to evaluate this equation and get x. The equation is built dynamically. x is the leaf node in a taxonomy, the other 3 nodes are the super concepts. The divisor represents the number of children of the child nodes. • How do i jump to a breakpoint within gdb?

I'm new to gdb and I tried out the following: I set a breakpoint, which worked fine actually, but is there any possibility to jump immediately to that breakpoint without using "next" or "step". • Android - Buffering Lag with VideoView

  I am using VideoView to display a video in my app. The problem is that, once the layout gets created there is lag of almost 10-30 seconds before which the video starts to play. I can see in LogCat that the video is buffering during the lag. Is there a way I can minimize this lag, or tell MediaPlayer to play the video sooner? Thanks Chris

• How do I reorder/clear the connection history in SQL Management Studio 2008?

  I connect to a lot of different servers in SQL Management Studio, but I find that not only is there no way to delete the old connections (dbnames, usernames, etc.), they also start to show up as duplicates. • Android browse SQLite database on phone

  How can I browse the SQLite database that I am creating in my app on my Android myTouch phone? When I log in through adb shell, sqlite3 gives me a permission denied. Is there another way to check if my database and tables are actually being created, and if rows are being inserted? I am not able to use the emulator, since it doesn't play videos etc. very well that is the main feature of my app, so I can only test on phone. Thanks Chris

• Error when calling Render method on reporting services 2008

  Hi, I've moved my web application to a new server, when it calls the render method on the reporting services 2008 web service it brings back the error "Client found response content type of '', but expected 'text/xml'. The request failed with an empty response". It works fine on my development machine. Does anyone know what might be causing this? Many thanks, Chris.

  I have a question about postDelayed. The android docs say that it adds the runnable to the queue and it runs in the UI thread. What does this mean? So, for example, the same thread I use to create my layout is used to run the Runnable? • Dojo dialog, the iPad and the virtual keyboard issue

  Recently, I have been working on a project where the interface should work for desktop and tablets (in particular the iPad). One issue I am coming across is with a Dojo dialog on the iPad when text entry is taking place. Basically here is what happens: Load Dojo interface with buttons on iPad - OK Press button (touch) to show dialog (90% height and width) - OK Click on text box (touch) like DateTextBox or TimeTextBox - OK, the virtual keyboard is opened Click the date or time I want in the UI (touch) - OK, but I can't see all of the options since it is longer than the screen size... Try to scroll down (swipe up with two fingers or click 'next' in the keyboard) - not OK and the dialog repositions itself to have it's top at the top of the viewport area. Basically, the issue is that the dialog keeps trying to reposition itself. Am I able to stop dialog resizing and positioning if I catch the window onResize events? Does anyone else have this issue with the iPad and Dojo dialogs? • Problems with JQuery's Droppable Tolerance 'fit' feature when using the same size divs

  Hi I'm just wondering if anybody else can manage to get the tolerance:'fit' option to work when using the 'droppable' feature in jQuery's UI? I want to call a function only when the draggable div is dropped perfectly onto a droppable div. Both divs are the same size and I'm using snapMode:outer to help the end user. I simply cannot get it to work with 'fit'. Works perfectly with 'intersect'. Would really appreciate some help. Thanks Chris

  Hi everyone. I have a UITableView that has two modes. When we switch between the modes I have a different number of sections and cells per section. Ideally, it would do some cool animation when the table grows or shrinks.   I've noticed that a lot of projects have the following structure: Project-A bin lib src main java RootLevelPackageClass.java I currently use the following convention (as my projects are 100% java): Project-A bin lib src RootLevelPackageClass.java I'm not currently using Maven but am wondering if this is a Maven convention or not or if there is another reason.   I am setting the DocumentText property to an HTML string that contains links like: <a href="file:///D:/dir/file.html">NewPage</a> The links are shown properly in the WebBrowser, but nothing happens when I click them.   I have created a login and database user called "MYDOMAIN\Domain Users". I need to find what roles a logged on domain user has but all the calls to get the current user return the domain username eg. "MYDOMAIN\username" not the database username eg. "MYDOMAIN\Domain Users". For example, this query returns "MYDOMAIN\username" select original_login(),suser_name(), suser_sname(), system_user, session_user, current_user, user_name() And this query returns 0 select USER_ID() I want the username to query database_role_members is there any fuction that will return it or any other way I can get the current users roles?
