    please help me to find out error in my sql query. i have created this query to compare dates select * from Joinplans jp where cast(convert(varchar ,GETDATE(),103) AS datetime) BETWEEN CASE(convert(varchar,jp.planstartDate,103) AS datetime) AND CASE(convert(varchar,DATEADD(DAY,jp.planDays,jp.planstartDate),103) AS DATETIME) It's giving me the error: incorrect near 'AS' I am using SQL Server 2005.

  • Show image from clipboard to defalut imageviewer of windows using c#.net

    I am using below function to make a image of current form and set it in clipboard Image bit = new Bitmap(this.Width, this.Height); Graphics gs = Graphics.FromImage(bit); gs.CopyFromScreen(this.Location, new Point(0, 0), bit.Size); Guid guid = System.Guid.NewGuid(); string FileName = guid.ToString(); //Copy that image in the clipbaord. Image imgToCopy = Image.FromFile(Path.Combine(Environment.CurrentDirectory, FileName + ".jpg")); Clipboard.SetImage(imgToCopy); Now my image is in clipboard and i am able to show it in picturebox on other form using below code : mypicturebox.Image = Clipboard.GetImage(); Now the the problem is that i want to show it in default imageviewer of that system. so for that i think using "System.Diagnostics.Process.Start" we can do that.. but i dont know, how to find default imageviewer and how to set clipboard's image in that ... please help me out... if i find solution than thats good otherwise i am thinking to save that file from clipboard to harddisk and then view it in window's default imageviewer... please help me to resolve my problem.. i am using c#.net

  • Rhino Mocks Partial Mock

    I am trying to test the logic from some existing classes. It is not possible to re-factor the classes at present as they are very complex and in production. What I want to do is create a mock object and test a method that internally calls another method that is very hard to mock. So I want to just set a behaviour for the secondary method call. But when I setup the behaviour for the method, the code of the method is invoked and fails. Am I missing something or is this just not possible to test without re-factoring the class?   • Data Flow Object Graph and An Execution Engine for it

    I would like to build a custom workflow engine from scratch. The input to this workflow is a data flow diagram which is composed of a series of activities connected together through lines where each each represent the data flow. Each activity can export multiple outputs. Activities are complex math functions but the logic is hidden from the user. My workflow engine job is to execute the given data flow diagram. Each activity within the data flow diagram is a custom activity and each activity can output different outputs. How do you suggest to model the data flow diagram object? I need to be able to construct the data flow diagram problematically (no need for drag and drop) but I need to display the final result graphically (for display and debugging purposes). Are there any libraries out there that I could use? Should I keep the workflow presentable as an xml? I know that there are many projects out there trying to essentially doing similar thing by building such workflow engines but I need something light weight and open source. I do not need any state machine execution engine and mine is primarily sequential workflow with fork and join capabilities. My activities are wrappable as basic C# classes and I do NOT want to use anything as heavy as .NET workflow foundation.

    i have an xml like : <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <entry> <entry_id></entry_id> <entry_status></entry_status> </entry> i am writing data in it like: XmlNode xnode = xdoc.SelectSingleNode("entry/entry_status"); xnode.InnerText = "<![CDATA[ " + Convert.ToString(sqlReader["story_status"]) + " ]]>" ; but its change "<" to "&lt" of CDATA. Please tell me how to fill values in above xml as a CData format. i know that we can create CDATA like : XmlNode itemDescription = doc.CreateElement("description"); XmlCDataSection cdata = doc.CreateCDataSection("<P>hello world</P>"); itemDescription.AppendChild(cdata); item.AppendChild(itemDescription); but my process is to read node of xml and change its value not to append in it.     Hi, I have a piece of code where I send a file content over tcp/ip channel. There are times when this connection hangs causing entire application to freeze. Is there a way for my main thread to spawn a worker thread and monitor that worker thread. If worker thread succeeds, well and good. If it hangs , the main thread could log error message and continue. How can I simulate in my test code that a worker thread is hanging. please let me know what could the code look like. I am using C# Visual studio 2002.

    I have got a table which contains 5 column and query requirements: update row no 8 (or id=8) set its column 2, column 3's value from id 9th column 2, column 3 value. means all value of column 2, 3 should be shifted to column 2, 3 of upper row (start from row no 8) and value of last row's 2, 3 will be null For example, with just 3 rows, the first row is untouched, the second to N-1th rows are shifted once, and the Nth row has nulls. id math science sst hindi english 1 11 12 13 14 15 2 21 22 23 24 25 3 31 32 33 34 35 The result of query of id=2 should be: id math science sst hindi english 1 11 12 13 14 15 2 31 32 23 24 25 //value of 3rd row (col 2,3) shifted to row 2 3 null null 33 34 35 This process should run for all rows whose id 2 Please help me to create this update query I am using MS sqlserver 2005
