  The only interfaces I can find with ADAT cost more than I am willing to spend, and have a lot of features and inputs that I do not need. Ideally this would be a simple USB/FIREWIRE/PCI device with 1 ADAT input and output. Support for at least WinXP would be a must. Somthing in the $0-100 range.

  I'm running WinXP in VMWare Fusion hosted by MAC OS X 10.5. There's no mac client for the vpn I need to use so I'm going through windows. The vpn runs fine in the vm. Is there a way I can get my host mac connection to piggyback off this vpn so I can access the network through the mac? I can provide more info, so let me know what would be helpful.

  What is the real meaning of the "Select a language to match the language version of the non-Unicode programs you want to use" dialog under Control Panel-Regional Settings-Advanced in WinXP and Win2003? According to the dialog text, Windows will use this to display the resource strings such as menus. The treatment of text files is application-specific, so this setting will not affect that. But can I expect any other change in behavior from this setting? Any insights into what is really going wrong?

  Hi I have a fresh install of WinXP. The main problem is that every time I start it up, I have to go into Administrative Tools and start the needed services, such as DCOM, RTP, DHCP, etc etc. The only services that start automatically are: plug and play remote procedure server windows audio workstation All of the rest have to be started manually, in spite of the fact that they're listed as "automatic".   I've made three snapshots on VirtualBox virtual machine (winxp). I want to go back to Snapshot 2. If I click on "Snapshot 2" and click Start, it goes back to the current state. I can click on "Current State" and "revert to current snapshot" (unclear: what is the "current snapshot", since I have 3 snapshots), but after it is finished, I can't discern what it did exactly and when I click start, it returns to the current state.
