    I want to add traffic information to my custom map. Currently I'm using a Tile Layer Overlay on my Google Map to display custom map tiles. When I try to add GTrafficOverlay to my map, my custom map tiles display above the traffic information. Is there any way to display the traffic above my GTileLayerOverlay? (Using the JavaScript api)

How can i check it only on client side?

    I am building a social network, and I need a simple internal search engine that will display a list of all website users starting with the ones that have the specific keyword in their username. So here is what i need: a search engine that will take a keyword. the search engine will open a new page with a list of all website users, displaying first the users that have the specific keyword in their username. display your username in the placeholder.   • How to setup complete file access and control on a network

    I have a media server running ubuntu 12.04 and I want it setup so that any PC on the network (windows etc) has complete access to all files, folders etc with read, write, edit, copy to, copy from permissions. No need for security (IE no password or user name, just select it on the network and start editing). I have samba installed and personal file sharing is enabled but my windows PC cannot see it on the network. I already set up another server as I described but unfortunately I can't remember how or where I found the guides for it. Any on know of a guide that covers what I want?

    I recently purchased an Acer Aspire Timeline 3810TZ notebook. It comes equipped with 2 modes, one for power saving (screen is dimmer, etc) and another for when connected to a power source. However, I'd like to control the settings for power save mode (specifically to make the screen a bit brighter) but the system didn't seem to ship with an app installed to modify these settings. Browsing the support site proved unsuccessful also. Anything out there I can do to control the notebook's power save settings?

Everytime I run this program I have the following Warning: User Account Control Do you want to allow the following program from an unknown publisher to make changes to this computer? I prefer not disable the User Account Control. Is there a way to stop User Account to warn me for this program? Thanks.

    Hi I try to show the Mail Control Panel item in Windows 2008 R2. I only type the Name "Mail" in to the "Show only specified Contol Panel items Properties" in the Group Policy. In Windows 2008 R2 that doesn't work and theres no item in the Control Panel to configure Outlook 2010 Profiles. I already tried with: Mail and Mail(32-bit).     I want to allow users to control the em1 device in Linux: When I run this command: ifdown em1 em1 is the embedded ethernet card 1, I want the user to be able to turn off the ethernet card. On Fedora 17, I get this error message: Users cannot control this device I want a certain user to be able to run a certain command on Linux without giving rights to other users. What is the best way to do that?

    More exactly, the web browser control. In a WM6 dialog based MFC project. This is driving me nuts. Mr Google does not know a thing on this matter. I have tried embedding the "Microsoft Webbrowser Control" in my dialog box but at runtime I get some class not register error. I have heard that this happens because "Microsoft Webbrowser Control" is the windows desktop control, not the windows mobile one. Otherwise, I find it quite hard to believe that this control is really not registered even on the emulator (if it really wasn't registered, PIE would not start). Anybody used the webbrowser engine in a WM(6) MFC applications ? Even a CLSID would help... Thank you

But for IE7 we need to implement some "custom" JSONP solution? Am I correct in this ?

  • Apple shortcuts in Ubuntu

    Hi, I switch between a Mac and Ubuntu often. On my Ubuntu box, I use an Apple Aluminum keyboard. I'm interested in Apple's "command" key: ? (I'm not concerned about the hardware control keys) cmd-T opens a browser tab cmd-C, cmd-V for copy/paste, especially in a terminal window control-c maintains the same meaning in terminal (abort) Just switching the control & command keys in Ubuntu would almost get me there, except for the special behaviour of the keys a terminal (Terminal is my most frequently used app). Has it been done? edit: using Gnome, not KDE
