  • WebKit gets blank when clicking on the menu toolbar

    Hi y'all. I've embebed a WebKit view into a modal dialog using Carbon and appereantly everything works fine. However there's a little problem. When I click on the menu toolbar the view gets completely blank getting visible only when I interact with it. Seems like the control stops reciving the 'paint window' event when I call MenuSelect function. All the events are managed by the parent window because of the nature of the application (videogame). Does anybody know what this behaviour is due to and how can I avoid it? Thanks for all.

    I'm maintaining an inherited site built on Drupal. We are currently experiencing "too many connections" to the database. In the /includes/database.mysql.inc file, @mysql_connect($url['host'], $url['user'], $url['pass'], TRUE, 2) (mysql_connect() documentation) is used to connect to the database. Should $new_link = TRUE be used? My understanding is that it will "always open a new link." Could this be causing the "too many connections"?

    Hi, I have a problem with my site in internet explorer. It works fine in firefox, opera etc. Sometimes internet explorer won't show my flash banner. For example when I'm on home page it works fine, but when i press services it doesn't show. Also, when opnend in older versions in IE the page get's completely mixed up. The banner doesn't show and the menu bar gets missplaced. Please help.     I was hoping to open a document in a menu control using a sitemap. I am using the following code in the sitemap but get an error. I would like to be able to click on the menu item, have it open the sample doc in a new window, but not to have the original page navigate to a new place (essentially to do nothing on the main page.) <siteMapNode url="javascript:widow.open('Sample.doc','SampleName'); return false" title="FAQs" description="FAQs" /> Any idea?     When creating a program setup, I also put some documentation or readme files in it. However after the program is installed, I get wrong icons on the desktop and in the programs menu, as below: What I expected: I thought that for the registered file types (such as pdf, txt, doc, etc.) I don't need to set icons manually in the setup project. Am i wrong? As far as I know some other installers doesn't have such problem. Does anybody know how to fix this for Visual Studio? My environment is: Visual Studio 2005, C#, Windows XP Pro SP3

    I visited a website a few weeks ago and came across a dynamic drop down menu. I came across a functionality that I am now trying to replicate but do not know how. In the dropdown you picked the desired number of cars and then it reiterated input fields according to the number of cars chosen. I believe this was done through javascript and a loop was involved. Is there a term for this action or way to display things? Also an example of how to accomplish something similar would help?

    I am trying to create an option in the right-click menu that is dynamic based on the user's action. If the user selects some text, then right-clicks, the option will say "Display It". If the user right-clicks without selecting some text, the option will say "Select Some Text First" and be grayed out. I am wondering how do I achieve this? I currently have it so that the option will appear only when the user has selected some text.   • TortoiseHg : Can commit by command line but not with contextual menu

    I just installed TortoiseHg (and I'm new to mercurial). I haven't been able to execute any commit with the contextual menu from Tortoise. Every time I try, I get the following error : Commit : Abort : The system cannot find the specified file. I get the error no matter the changes in my repository : new files, modifications to existing files. I also took the time to configure tortoise as shown here : http://tortoisehg.bitbucket.org/manual/1.0/quick.html (section 3.1) The strange thing is, everything is working well when I'm doing my commit from the command line. What should I look for ?

  • Hook perm for more than one content type

    Drupal 6.x I have this module that manages four different content types. For that matter, how do I define permission for each content within the same module? Is that even possible? I can't figure out how to define permission for each content type cuz hook_perm has to be named with module name and it doesn't have any argument(like hook_access $node) to return permission base on content type.     I have a firefox extension Options pref panel, where I should dynamically create menu items and select particular item to be current. here is the XUL file part <menulist id="rss_service_combo"> <menupopup id="rss_service_menu"/> </menulist> Then in load event of the pref panel, using js I append menuitem elements into menupop. This is working fine. The only problem is that even if I set the selected element the item is not selected and combo box is initially empty. The only way is working at the moment is if I manually add those menuitems into XUL file and set selected attribute, but I need to do it dynamically.

    Hi, I have a link that functions similar to a drop down menu in that it fades in a list of links below it when clicked. Currently, the list fades back out when the link is clicked again, but I'd like for it to also fade out if the user clicks elsewhere on the page. I'm not sure how to add the $(document).click(function()... that handles this, or if this is even the right approach.     I am having a really annoying bug, which yet I don't know how to trace it. I have an activity with 3 tabs, each populated by adapters build by asynctasks. They are displaying well, navigation is fine. I've extended TabActivity. But whenever I hit the Back/Menu/Search button it halts, then after a while the OS displays me this warning: Sorry Activity Contacts (in application MyApp) is not responding. Force close or Wait. How can I trace this problem on the phone?
