  • Jquery return mulitple values in ajax call

    Hey guys quick question, I have a jquery post function that returns a response on success after the click of a div, however I would like to return multiple variables on success. Do I have to use JSON, and if so, is it possible to integrate it into the $.ajax function after success?   • Is it possible to capture audio output and apply effects to it?

    Using .NET and DirectSound I want to be able to take all output sound that is coming from my audio device and apply effects to it. I've had a quick look at the docs on MSDN and there doesn't seem to be any explanation as to how to do something like this. I've read elsewhere that you'd be better off writing a driver to sit in front of your real audio driver and have that do whatever you want with the sound. Any ideas anyone to push me in the right direction?

  • Isolate large amounts of data w/ jQuery

    I work for a transit agency and I have large amounts of data (mostly times), and I need a way to filter the data using two textboxes (To and From). I found jQuery quick search, but it seems to only work with one textbox. If anyone has any ideas via jQuery or some other client side library, that would be fantastic.

  • How do you keep the order using SELECT WHERE IN()?

    Is there a way to keep the order when using SELECT WHERE IN()? For example, using the following query: SELECT id FROM data_table WHERE id IN(56,55,54,1,7); The results will come back using the default order by id. 1,7,54,55,56 When I want to keep the order used in the IN: 56,55,54,1,7 Is there a quick way to do this in mySQL or will I be forced to order it after in code. Thanks :)

  • actionscript simple addchild within child

I need to add a child named "framecontainer" and then add another child within that named "bagFrame," both need to be added to the main timeline "MovieClip(root)" (unless there's an easier way to do that).   • Should I bother with C++ or go straight to C#?

    I have been writing embedded C applications for almost 20 years. In the last few years I have written quite a few PC based GUI interfaces in Visual C so I could interface my embedded systems to a PC. Although my primary work will still be in deeply embedded C, I have finally decided to move my PC based tools into Ruby - (for quick scripting type stuff) and C++ or C# for GUI based interfaces and applications. Should I bother with C++ or just move straight to C#?

  • jQuery - Set min-height of div

    This is probably really easy for most of you. But I'm in need of a small snippet that looks up the current height of a div (the div has a dynamic height based on the content inside it) and then set that value in the css class's min-height value. Basically what this means is that I want this container to have it's min-height to be the exact same value as it's current height. This is probably a quick one :)

    I have two detected dependencies with the same name (different paths) showing up in my setup project's detected dependencies. One's the "old" one, at an old path. How can i determine which portion of my primary project is causing the "old" one to show up? I can probably do it by trial and error, but is there a quick/direct way?

This application takes a ~2KB string as input and returns almost similar size of string after some processing. Turnaround time for the client should be really quick.
