    Could you confirm I understand this correctly. Using POST, the file specified in xmlhttp.open("GET","ajax_test.asp",true); will not be cached (sent to \Temporary Internet Files) ? It will stay on the server only? If this is true, is the updated html file after calling ajax POST, being updated in the \Temporary Internet Files ? Am I missing any other important information of this mechanism? Thank You.

What I would like to do is put "git push" in post-receive, but there is one problem. Post-receive is executed as the user doing git push to first server, so I can't chmod 600 ssh key with no pass.   • jQuery.post not working when using data type json

    I have been trying to utilize json in this jQuery.post because I need to return two values from my executed php. The code was working when I was not implementing json. I need to see if a promo code entered is valid for a particular broker. The two variables I need back are the instant message whether or not it's valid (this is displayed to the user) and I need to update a hidden field that will be used later while updating the database. The jQuery.post does not seem to be firing at all, but the code directly above it (the ajax-loader.gif) is working. I did re-write the whole thing at one point using jQuery.ajax, and had issues there too. Granted, I have probably been looking at this too long and have tried to re-write too many times, but any help is greatly appreciated!!   • jQuery UI modal dialog box and the close button upper right: how to remove it.

    I need to kill the close 'x' button at the top of the dialog box. I have a modal that opens with an OK button that redirects to the site. The site behind the modal is in an iframe. When the user agrees to the statement in the dialog box and clicks the 'OK' button, it redirects to the site that is outside the iframe. If the user clicks on the 'x', it goes to the iframe site, which I do not want to have happen. I need the modal to work as a one-way to the site it goes to. It basically forces the user to accept the user agreement. I would post code, but its an intranet site. Thanks everyone for your help!

  • Server.Transfer - What could be the issue here?

    We have implemented a website with the ability for the user to post his actioncode. This then will be checked by the code and when the user has a price the website will Server.Transfer him to another page. The strange thing here is that the user information will be submitted to the database and the actioncode can't be used again. Here we go... I have one user in this database that is inserted twice very fast after the first time he was added. This are the timestamps: 2010-04-23 07:54:41.133 2010-04-23 07:54:41.417 The insert statement is only called once from the code and the user gets Server.Transfered to the Price.aspx page where he sees what price he won. How can it be that this happened? I'm guessing the user hitted F5 but then he had to be very very fast... Thx!

  • Fedora 13 post security update boot problem

    Hello. About a month ago I installed a security update that had new Kernek 2.6.34.x from 2.6.33.x), this is when the problem occurred for the first time. After the install my computer would not boot at all, black screen without any visible hard drive activity (I gave it good 30 minutes on black screen, before took actions)... I poped in installation DVD and went in rescue mode to change back the boot option to old kernel (was just a guess where the problem was). After restart computer loaded just file, took a long time for it to start because of SELinux targeted policy relabel is required. Relabeling could take very long time depending on file size. I assumed that the update got messed up somehow and continued working with modified boot option. Couple of days ago, there was another kernel update. I installed it and same problem as before. This rules out corrupted update theory... Black screen right after 'BIOS' screen before OS gets loaded. I had to rescue system again... Below is copy of my grub.conf file. I can't figure out how to do that. Could anyone help ?   • Apache reverse proxy POST 403

    I am trying to get Jira and Stash to talk to each other via a Trusted Application link. The setup, currently, looks like this: Jira - http - Jira Proxy -https- stash proxy -http- stash. Jira and the Jira proxy are on the same machine. The Jira Proxy is showing 403 Forbidden for POST requests from the stash server. It works (or seems to ) for everything else. I contend that since we're seeing 403 forbiddens in the access log for apache, Jira is never seeing the request. Why is apache forbidding posts,and how do I fix it? Note that the IPs for both Stash and the Stash Proxy are in the "trusted host" section.
