  I purchased Dell note book and it came with Windows 7, 64 bit. Now when I try to install AUTOCAD 2008 version, which is in 32 bit, I am unable to run the software. I get message that you can't run 32 bit program on a 64 bit processor. What to do?

• Can I put iTunes in Windows 7 XP Mode and sync an iPhone from within it?

  I don't want iTunes on my laptop due to the stupidly bloated amount of system drivers and services it installs. Win7 offers XP mode which allows you to virtualise USB devices to the VM. Does anyone know if I could install iTunes into XP Mode and sync to an iPhone that way, preferably bringing in an Outlook address book from the host machine as well.

  Normally when I read a book I use a bookmark held horizontally under the current line I'm reading to help me keep my eyes on the right spot. When I read a PDF or other document on my computer I would like to be able to do the same thing, only with a line on the screen controlled by the up and down arrow keys.   I was told that after ntfsresize (ntfs resize), the fdisk command needs to be run... But how can it be run? What is the exact line? In a book Knoppix Hacks, it seems to suggest needing some parameter except it is not using any in its example. Does any one know how? Is the line: sudo fdisk /dev/hda all that's needed? However, my old backup isn't showing when you browse the time machine network drive, only the currently used machine is listed (I know there are 3 different backups). How can I access those files not belonging to the currently used laptop?

  The wireless internet on my Mac became extremely slow recently on my 27" IMac. I don't recall doing anything different other than doing the Apple Software updates which I let it pop up and install automatically. On my Mac Book internet is still fine so I don't think it's the model or the router. I'm not sure where to start digging the cause of this or how to solve it. Looking into the System Preferences on my IMac, it's pretty identical to my MacBook!

What is the easiest of removing the password from a PDF (I know the password, which presumably helps a lot).   Hello guys, I am setting up subversion using this link http://svn.spears.at/ It says that "As the Subversion book warns, make sure to create all repositories on your local disks [FiberChannel is treated as a local disk]. Failing to do so, may result in repository corruption. " This us a big problem for me. Isnt there a way I can set subversion on shared drives. Is there a work around because availability is a major concern with local drives.

• Adding addresses to ActiveDirectory with Thunderbird

  We use a Windows 2003 server and XP stations. The server's LDAP is working ok, as I am able to retrieve the addresses it contains with Thunderbird. I'd like to be able to ADD an address to the server's book (the address of a new contact that freshly wrote me, for example) directly from Thunderbird, but that doesn't seem possible. What can I do ?
