  I am using IIS 7 rewrite to redirect certain pages to https. It seems that my post from such a page fails because i have Request Verification token attribute on the controller. Is this expected behavior or do I have something configured incorrectly? what to do to get around this? works fine without the https redirect.

  I am trying to remove one site binding. I am using powershell 2 and iis 7. I am able to remove all bindings with Remove-ItemProperty, and when i use Set-ItemProperty it removes all binding and just adds the new. I would be great if i could just rename or just remove a single binding without effecting the others. A sample would be great.

  Hello @all, i try to check how much traffic flows between MSSQL Server and IIS Server in different Locations. There are 1 ipcop in every Location and i download the tcpdump file from one Firewall and search for DST=ipmssql and SRC=ipIIS but i did not find the ip from the Database Server. But there are traffic between both. Any suggestions why i did not find the IP Adress from the MSSQL Server? Is this an configuration failure in IPCop or is the Traffic between ISS and MSSQL so strange :-) Regards Rene

  In IIS 5 one of the directories off the root has a leading underscore. All files under the directory are unreachable (404) from the browser. I have verified that the paths are correct.   We have deployed a .net 4 asp.net site on IIS 6.0. Default.aspx is configured as one of the default document. When we access the site using the following url http://testsite We expect it to render http://testsite/Default.aspx But instead we get 404 Not found error. We did not had this issue when it was deployed on .Net 2.0. Only thing that has changed on the server is that we use .Net 4 instead of .Net 2.

  I have added an IP address in IIS7 in the IP address and domain restrictions. From what I have read this should block all traffic to the folder apart from the allowed IP address. For some reason this does not work. If I access the section from my work computer all ok, when I access it from my phone I can still see the page. Does anyone have any idea why IIS is not blocking all the other IPs out? Thanks
