  • JXMapViewer change orientation to Heading Up

    - by Charlie
    I am trying to use JXMapViewer (from swingx-ws) with Open Street Maps. I was wondering if it would be possible to display the map tiles in the JXMapViewer based on heading up, rather than on North up. For example, the normal car GPS navigation systems let you do that. I've looked through the documentation and there doesn't seem to be a straightforward way to do this. Is there something else that accomplish this, besides JXMapViewer?

  • Why does ANT tell me that JAVA_HOME is wrong when it is not?

    - by Ankur
    I get the error: C:\dev\ws\springapp\build.xml:81: Unable to find a javac compiler; com.sun.tools.javac.Main is not on the classpath. Perhaps JAVA_HOME does not point to the JDK. It is currently set to "C:\Program Files\Java\jre6" But I have clearly set my JAVA_HOME to be C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.6.0_14 Where is ANT getting this value?

  • How long do FireFox, Chrome, Safari, and Opera cache SSL/TLS session keys?

    - by MJ
    To try to use a reason SSL/TLS session key timeout on the server-side, I'd like to know how long popular browsers cache session keys on the client. Microsoft describes this information for Windows/IE here: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc776467(WS.10).aspx But, I haven't been able to find similar information for other popular browsers. Does anyone know? Thanks!

  • Reading POST data from html form sent to serversocket.

    - by user32167
    i try to write simplest possible server app in Java, displaying html form with textarea input, which after submitting gives me possibility to parse xml typed in that textarea. For now i build simple serversocket based server like that: import java.io.BufferedReader; import java.io.InputStreamReader; import java.io.PrintWriter; import java.net.ServerSocket; import java.net.Socket; public class WebServer { protected void start() { ServerSocket s; String gets = ""; System.out.println("Start on port 80"); try { // create the main server socket s = new ServerSocket(80); } catch (Exception e) { System.out.println("Error: " + e); return; } System.out.println("Waiting for connection"); for (;;) { try { // wait for a connection Socket remote = s.accept(); // remote is now the connected socket System.out.println("Connection, sending data."); BufferedReader in = new BufferedReader(new InputStreamReader( remote.getInputStream())); PrintWriter out = new PrintWriter(remote.getOutputStream()); String str = "."; while (!str.equals("")) { str = in.readLine(); if (str.contains("GET")){ gets = str; break; } } out.println("HTTP/1.0 200 OK"); out.println("Content-Type: text/html"); out.println(""); // Send the HTML page String method = "get"; out.print("<html><form method="+method+">"); out.print("<textarea name=we></textarea></br>"); out.print("<input type=text name=a><input type=submit></form></html>"); out.println(gets); out.flush(); remote.close(); } catch (Exception e) { System.out.println("Error: " + e); } } } public static void main(String args[]) { WebServer ws = new WebServer(); ws.start(); } } After form (textarea with xml and one additional text input) is submitted in 'gets' String-type variable I have Urlencoded values of my variables (also displayed on the screen, it looks like that: gets = GET /?we=%3Cnetwork+ip_addr%3D%2210.0.0.0%2F8%22+save_ip%3D%22true%22%3E%0D%0A%3Csubnet+interf_used%3D%22200%22+name%3D%22lan1%22+%2F%3E%0D%0A%3Csubnet+interf_used%3D%22254%22+name%3D%22lan2%22+%2F%3E%0D%0A%3C%2Fnetwork%3E&a=fooBar HTTP/1.1 What can i do to change GET to POST method (if i simply change it in form and than put " if (str.contains("POST")){" it gives me string like gets = POST / HTTP/1.1 with no variables. And after that, how i can use xml from my textarea field (called 'we')?

  • Move namespace declaration from payload to envelope on an axis created web service

    - by rmarimon
    I just created a web service client using axis and eclipse that does not work with my web service provider. The message created by the web service client looks like this: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <soapenv:Envelope xmlns:soapenv="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/" xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance"> <soapenv:Body> <enviarMensajeRequest xmlns="http://www.springframework.org/spring-ws/Imk-Zenkiu-Services"> <usuario>someuser</usuario> <clave>somepassword</clave> <mensaje>somemessage</mensaje> <contacto> <buzonSMS>somenumber</buzonSMS> <primerNombre>somefirstname</primerNombre> <primerApellido>somelastname</primerApellido> </contacto> </enviarMensajeRequest> </soapenv:Body> </soapenv:Envelope> I see nothing wrong with the message but my provider insists the message should be: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <soapenv:Envelope xmlns:soapenv="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/" xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xmlns:imk="http://www.springframework.org/spring-ws/Imk-Zenkiu-Services"> <soapenv:Body> <imk:enviarMensajeRequest> <imk:usuario>someuser</imk:usuario> <imk:clave>somepassword</imk:clave> <imk:mensaje>somemessage</imk:mensaje> <imk:contacto> <imk:buzonSMS>somenumber</imk:buzonSMS> <imk:primerNombre>somefirstname</imk:primerNombre> <imk:primerApellido>somelastname</imk:primerApellido> </imk:contacto> </imk:enviarMensajeRequest> </soapenv:Body> </soapenv:Envelope> Notice the namespace declaration moving from the enviarMensajeRequest to the soapenv:Envelope and the qualification with imk: on the parameters. I've tried many combinations on the process but my web service, wsdl and xml knowledge is very limited. The provider says that they can't help beyond telling me this. Any ideas? Perhaps a different framework that I can use to create the correct client.

    Good Morning, I was just hoping that someone could point me to a reference that defines about what JBOSS annotations are equivalent to what xml tags. I am particularly interested in these tags: @WebContext in org.jboss.ws.annotation.WebContext and @SecurityDomain in org.jboss.annotation.security.SecurityDomain

  • 1136: Incorrect number of arguments. Expected 0.? AS3 Flash Cs4 (Round 2)

    - by charmaine
    (I have asked this before but I dont think I was direct enough with my question and therefore it did not get resolved so here goes again!) I am working through a book called Foundation Actionscript 3.0 Animation, making things move. I am now on Chapter 9 - Collision Detection. On two lines of my code I get the 1135 error, letting me know that I have an incorrect number of arguments. I have highlighted the two areas in which this occurs with asterisks: package { import flash.display.Sprite; import flash.events.Event; public class Bubbles extends Sprite { private var balls:Array; private var numBalls:Number = 10; private var centerBall:Ball; private var bounce:Number = -1; private var spring:Number = 0.2; public function Bubbles() { init(); } private function init():void { balls = new Array(); ***centerBall = new Ball(100, 0xcccccc);*** addChild(centerBall); centerBall.x = stage.stageWidth / 2; centerBall.y = stage.stageHeight / 2; for(var i:uint = 0; i < numBalls; i++) { ***var ball:Ball = new Ball(Math.random() * 40 + 5, Math.random() * 0xffffff);*** ball.x = Math.random() * stage.stageWidth; ball.y = Math.random() * stage.stageHeight; ball.vx = Math.random() * 6 - 3; ball.vy = Math.random() * 6 - 3; addChild(ball); balls.push(ball); } addEventListener(Event.ENTER_FRAME, onEnterFrame); } private function onEnterFrame(event:Event):void { for(var i:uint = 0; i < numBalls; i++) { var ball:Ball = balls[i]; move(ball); var dx:Number = ball.x - centerBall.x; var dy:Number = ball.y - centerBall.y; var dist:Number = Math.sqrt(dx * dx + dy * dy); var minDist:Number = ball.radius + centerBall.radius; if(dist < minDist) { var angle:Number = Math.atan2(dy, dx); var tx:Number = centerBall.x + Math.cos(angle) * minDist; var ty:Number = centerBall.y + Math.sin(angle) * minDist; ball.vx += (tx - ball.x) * spring; ball.vy += (ty - ball.y) * spring; } } } private function move(ball:Ball):void { ball.x += ball.vx; ball.y += ball.vy; if(ball.x + ball.radius > stage.stageWidth) { ball.x = stage.stageWidth - ball.radius; ball.vx *= bounce; } else if(ball.x - ball.radius < 0) { ball.x = ball.radius; ball.vx *= bounce; } if(ball.y + ball.radius > stage.stageHeight) { ball.y = stage.stageHeight - ball.radius; ball.vy *= bounce; } else if(ball.y - ball.radius < 0) { ball.y = ball.radius; ball.vy *= bounce; } } } } I think this is due to the non-existance of a Ball.as, when reading the tutorial I assumed it meant that I had to create a movie clip of a ball on stage and then export it for actionscript with the class name being Ball, however when flicking back through the book I saw that a Ball.as already existed, stating that I may need to use this again later on in the book, this read: package { import flash.display.Sprite; public class Ball extends Sprite { private var radius:Number; private var color:uint; public var vx:Number=0; public var vy:Number=0; public function Ball(radius:Number=40, color:uint=0xff0000) { this.radius=radius; this.color=color; init(); } public function init():void { graphics.beginFill(color); graphics.drawCircle(0, 0, radius); graphics.endFill(); } } } This managed to stop all the errors appearing however, it did not transmit any of the effects from Bubbles.as it just braught a Red Ball on the center of the stage. How would I alter this code in order to work in favour of Bubbles.as? Please Help! Thanks!

  • iOS: RestKit loadObject & send params

    - by Alon Amir
    using loadObjectAtResourcePath, on GET method, doesn't include my parameters on the requests. for example, i send: [RKObjectManager objectManagerWithBaseURL:@"http://something/ws"]; [[RKObjectManager sharedManager] loadObjectsAtResourcePath:@"/res" delegate:self block:^(RKObjectLoader *loader) { NSDictionary *dict = [NSDictionary dictionaryWithObjectsAndKeys: @"val", @"param1", nil]; loader.params = [RKParams paramsWithDictionary:dict]; }]; the final url request doesn't include the "?param1=val" part - why is that?

  • How to use a properties file with Hudson in compilation time?

    - by Neuquino
    Hi, I have a pom.xml that uses cxf-codegen-plugin to generate a couple of WS clients. Inside the configuration of cxf-codegen-plugin, there are the WSDL locations. I would like to externalize those strings to a env.properties file. I used org.codehaus.mojo's properties-maven-plugin to look inside src/main/resources/conf/app/env.properties. How can I make Hudson to replace those properties with the apropiate host? Thanks in advance

  • query on custom field via webservice

    - by Roberto Parrotto
    I customized the content of Defect in my Rally workspace adding a new custom field. This custom field is of type string, its name is CustomTest and its display name is CustomAttribute. I added the value "test" on a defect, but I can't create a working query on that custom field (I'm developing in Java and using the ws api for rally). the query I tried are String query8 = "(CustomAttribute = \"test\")"; String query9 = "(CustomAttribute = \"test\")";
