  • EmulateIE7 and FRAMES Question

    I don't want to have to add the EmulateIE7 meta tag for every page if I dont have to. My default.htm is a FRAMESET page so can I just add the meta tag to my default FRAMESET page and my site stay in IE=EmulateIE7 mode for each new page that loads in the frameset? Thanks

    Hi, I've an SQL database and I would like to do a query who show all the datas containing the sign "%". Normally, to find a character (for example: "z") in a database I use a query like this : mysql_query("SELECT * FROM mytable WHERE tag LIKE '%z%'"); But here, I want to found the % character, but in SQL it's a joker so when I write: mysql_query("SELECT * FROM mytable WHERE tag LIKE '%%%'"); It show me all my datas. So how to found the % character in my SQL datas ? Thanks

    I have a table of tags ID tag --- ------ 1 tagt 2 tagb 3 tagz 4 tagn In my items table, I'm using those tags in serialized format, comma delimited ID field1 tags ---- ------ ----- 1 value1 tagt,tagb 2 value2 tagb 3 value3 tagb,tagn 4 value4 When I need to find items that have this tag, I plan to deserialize the tags. But I'm not actually sure how to do it, and if it's better to have a third table for associations instead between the tags and the items.

So far, the answer seems to be No. This question is broader: do you have any horror stories about gcc and strict-aliasing? Background: Quoting from AndreyT's answer in http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2771023/c99-strict-aliasing-rules-in-c-gcc/2771041#2771041: "Strict aliasing rules are rooted in parts of the standard that were present in C and C++ since the beginning of [standardized] times. The clause that prohibits accessing object of one type through a lvalue of another type is present in C89/90 (6.3) as well as in C++98 (3.10/15). ... It is just that not all compilers wanted (or dared) to enforce it or rely on it." Well, gcc is now daring to do so, with its -fstrict-aliasing switch. And this has caused some problems.   • Django admin breaking with non-default primary_key for model with a m2m relationship ?

    I have a simple Post model with a m2m field to a Tag model. The Tag had for some reason to use a non default primary key. Inside the admin page for a Post, the labels for the multiple selection field for Tags appear, but not the input field itself. I also tried using the filter_horizontal for the tags, but still only the labels appear without the actual field. Any ideas why it breaks and/or workarounds? Thanks!

  • custom cell based on row index iphone

    I'm wondering if it is possible to add cell content to a uitableview based on the row index? For example if it is the first cell (row 0) I want to add an image and text. If it is the second row I would like to add a button. For all other rows I would like to just add a line of text. I tried using indexPath.row.     I really need someone to help me to fully understand how to do many-to-many relationship with Entity Framework 4 CTP 5, POCO. I need to understand 3 concepts: How to config my model to indicates some tables are many-to-many. How to properly do insert. How to properly do update. Again, my questions are: What to do on the EntityTypeConfiguration to set the relationship between them as well as mapping to an table/object that associates with the many-to-many relationship. How to insert a new music sheets (where it might have multiple authors or multiple tags). How to update a music sheet. For example, I might set TagA, TagB to MusicSheet1, but later I need to change the tags to TagA and TagC. It seems like I need to first check to see if the tags already exists, if not, insert the new tag and then associate it with the music sheet (so that I doesn't re-insert TagA?). Or this is something already handled by the framework? Thank you very much. I really hope to fully understand it rather than just doing it without fully understand what's going on. Especially on #3.

  • DRUPAL, Views: exposed filter.. how can I unselect all tags ?

    hi, I'm using Drupal, Views, tag exposed filter and I would like to allow my customer to select the default tags from back-end. However when he selects some tags is not possible anymore to unselect all of them. See initial picture: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/72686/Picture%201.png Now all the tags are unselected, but if I select just one of them, then I cannot anymore come back to the initial configuration. (at least one tag remains selected). How can I fix this ? thanks

  • Can the Subversion client (svn) derefence symbolic links as if they were files?

    I have a directory on a Linux system that mostly contains symlinks to files on a different filesystem. I'd like to add the directory to a Subversion repository, dereferencing the symlinks in the process (treating them as the files they point to, rather than links). Generally, I'd like to be able to handle any working-copy operations with this behavior, but the 'svn add' command is where it starts, I think. The SVN client utility doesn't appear to have any options related to symlink dereferencing in the working copy. I didn't find any references to this in the manual (http://svnbook.red-bean.com/en/1.5/index.html), either. I found a poster on the SVN users mailing list who asked the same question but never received an answer, here: http://markmail.org/message/ngchfnzlmm43yj7h (That poster ended up using hard links instead of symlinks. That technique is not an option, in my case, because the real underlying files reside on a separate filesystem.) I'm using Subversion v1.6.1 on Fedora 11. For what it's worth, I know that there are alternative tools/techniques that could help approximate this behavior, but which I have to discard for various reasons. I've already considered [and dust-binned] these possibilities: - a "union" mount, merging all of the the directories containing the real files, with the SVN working-copy directory as the "top" layer in the union; - copying/moving the real files to the same filesystem as the SVN working-copy, and using hardlinks instead of symlinks; - non-SVN version control systems. These were all neat ideas, and I'm sure they are good solutions to other problems, but they won't work given the constraints of this environment and situation.
