However, there are many internal links within the pages.   There are those plugins that can capture flash videos from websites like Youtube and others. There's also the browsing cache which keeps the videos and I can copy them somewhere else and have them stored on my computer. I know of these, but how can I download a video from a website that (I think) is all flash because the address doesn't change wherever you navigate to and so it stays the same when you play a video that's on the website? No plugin I've tried (realplayer, ant video downloadr, IDM) have worked with it and nothing gets cached from that website.

  I dont know when it started to happen. The screen will turn into full black when a page include javascript (I think so). I cannot open Youtube videos, but I can still see the source code and the pointer to find links and buttons and I can hear the sound of video. I have tried to clear my cache and reinstalled to the latest version, but nothing seems work. Moreover, I have disabled the Pepperflash Player as well, but it did not help. • RTorrent stops my torrents, crashes, and I have to manually re-add torrents and start them. How can I stop this cycle of doom?

  I cannot use transmission which is the best torrent client because it's banned from one of the trackers I use, so I am forced to use rtorrent. Normally I am all for command-line programs, however rtorrent ( 0.8.6/0.12.6 ) is simply frustrating. It is not intuitive, imo. I have 400 MB left on the HD and that's more than enough to dl this 200 MB avi. Rtorrent stops the download, though. It says [CLOSED] near the torrent. I do ctrl-r and that invokes the local hash check, and after that's done rtorrent simply dies ( wtf? ). Afterwards, it gives me rtorrent: TrackerManager::send_later() m_control->set() == DownloadInfo::STOPPED. So that leads me to open rtorrent again, then hit ENTER and /home/meder/file.avi.torrent, down arrow, and ctrl-S. I am looking for multiple things... How can I tell rtorrent to not worry about disk space? Again, it stops the torrent if my HD only has 400 mb when the torrent I'm dling is 200 mb ( there are no other torrents ). Why does ctrl-R fail hard? Why does it cause rtorrent to crash? If #2 is not solvable, can someone provide an easy way to add a torrent and start it, a more efficient method than typing the torrent name, hitting the down arrow, and ctrl-S?

• No sounds played in google chrome tabs

  I have somehow muted all the tabs in my google chrome. Youtube and other flash players are playing video, but there is no sound. In Window 7 Volume mixer I can see Google chrome icon and it has muted icon there. But clicking that icon unmute sounds just for a second and then it's muted back on. Seems that chrome itself or some of it extensions are turning mute... Update: How do I mute certain tabs in Chrome? question seems related, but I don't have MuteTab extension installed in Chrome.

• BackupExec 2012 File System Archiving - Access is denied to Remote Agent

  Gentlemen, I've been struggling with a Trial version of Symantec Backup Exec 2012 for about a week now. It was installed as an upgrade to our 12.5 license, and the setup completed with no issues. The reason I upgraded is solely for the File System Archiving option as I'm working to reduce the amount of live data in my servers. Backups work A-Ok and I have followed the instructions in the Admin Manual to make sure I had filled all requirements. The account BE is running under is a member of the Local administrators group as required and has been added to the test share that I'm using to evaluate the archiving function. Testing the credentials in the job setup window always works fine, and I am able to add both regular and Admin$ shares to my Archive selection. However, every time I run the Archive job, I get the following message: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/59540229/BEXec.png I've already tried to troubleshoot DNS resolution issues as suggested in the Symantec KB to no avail. The only thing I can think of, at this point, is that a trial license doesn't allow me to use the Archiving function, although that would seem silly on their part. I have my personal profile, and on the other side I have work profile. My work email is on Gmail Apps, so I have a mail and calendar there also.   After using MacBook for two years, I bought 17'' MacBook Pro. I'm pretty happy with it, performance and all, but I also was going to record some music videos for YouTube. I play guitar and sing. However I was extremely disappointed with the sound quality that comes by default. I'm 100% sure my 13'' MacBook mic was much better at recording music and singing. Currently mic can't event handle acoustic guitar, outputting sound you'd think was recorded 5 years ago in ARM format on a Nokia phone on a loud concert. It totally feels like some lame filter is cutting low and high frequencies. I want to know what settings (visible or hidden) in iMovie or Mac OS itself I might want to tweak in order to get my MBP mic record clean sound.

  I am running a plesk panel in 1and1. I have 120 sites running and all are using pligg cms, each site has 600 visitors per day. Please see the details of my server below: HDD-1000GB RAM-16GB Processor-6 Core I always see a lot of apache processes running in my # top view, so the server seems overloaded. If I can reduce the amount apache processes I think the server will be ok. But I don't know why too many apache processes are running. Please help me to solve the problem. In peak hours my sites are taking too much time to load, but off-peak hour it is ok. Please help me to find out the actual problem.

  I am using Linux mint OS since an Year , I use to consistently download updates and install , I use chrome as a default browser , when ever I open youtube and watch some video , I listen to some repetition in sound ( say repeated lyrics of song ) while it is playing , In firefox it is working fine . What is the problem am I missing any plugin , AFAIK Chrome doesn't need a flash player plug in , It has a built in flash player . IS that the problem ? And also previously I was not facing this , recently I started using Cinimon UI centOS after this all these kind of problems started MY hard ware is 64 bit intel core i3 and also I have installed linux mint 64 bit Please let me know what is the problem and how to fix this .   I'm trying to play music through Ventrilo and currently I use Virtual Audio Cable. The way it works is that in foobar2000 (a music playing program) I set the output device in preferences to Virtual Audio Cable. Then in Ventrilo I log in to another name and set the input device to Virtual Audio Cable. This routes the music through the Virtual Audio Cable and allows me to play the music through Ventrilo. However, I would also like to change the output device for Firefox (or any other browser) or "Plugin Container for Firefix" to Virtual Audio Cable so that I could play music from Pandora or YouTube on to Ventrilo. Unfortunately I could not find an option for this anywhere.

• DVI to HDMI - displaying bad.

  I currently have a computer with a ASUS EAH5770 (ATi Radeon HD 5770) 1GB GDDR5 video card, and 4GB ram, 2.6 GHZ i5 processor. I just switched from a DVI (the blue one) to an HDMI cable. (Bigben Flat cable HDMI 1.3c) I use a Samsung SyncMaster 2032 MW, which has a HDMI input. The weird thing is, that my screen is off-the-corner of the tv (so it's too wide) (1920x1080), and windows icons and text are not displaying well, though 1080p videos in YouTube are looking brilliant, just like pictures. So i think it has something to do with Windows. I already have the ATI Catalyst Control Center with the drivers i received with my video card. I do not currently know how to fix these problems. Do i have to reinstall Windows or so? Or is it (hopefully) easier?

  Hi, I'm trying to add a watermark and a credits image to all of my old videos. I downloaded them off YouTube so they are all flv (H.264?). Is there some software that will allow me do simple edits in batches? I know a little bit of Python and tried looking at some of the library but they all seem like overkill (and way above my head). So is there a solution besides getting some software and going through all my videos and doing it manually? They are all mostly the same length, but it would be nice to specify a relative position for my credits. e.g. show a static image for 10 seconds when the video is at 95%

  Howdy, take a look at this please http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=te-HVN8y_QE&hd=1 . Notice the embedded "logo" in the upper left corner? How blurry and pixelated it is? This is the original image: http://i.imagehost.org/0148/movie_watermark.png ! The stretching, blurring, pixelating etc. most likely comes from resizing the original video from 1920x1200 to 1280x720 and encoding it with h.264. Can anyone tell me how I can prevent the blurring, unsharpening and pixelating and retain their original quality? How do I exclude the logo from the whole encoding process and just slap it there in its original format and form?

• erratic audio levels on windows vista

  I'm somewhat hard of hearing. I've been listening to my windows Vista machine with a pair of headphones so I don't annoy the others. I have 2 issues: 1) the volume varies enormously depending on the source. Having a windows alert occur while I am listening to a DVD or Youtube is a painful experience. Is there a preferred way to set all the different audio controls so I have a more constant volume? I already have lowered the volumes of the windows alerts. 2)Is there a way to limit the volume of my headphones to protect what is left of my hearing? Is there a software solution or should I be going for a hardware limiter? thanks retired dude

• Alternatives to the ClickToPlugin Safari extension for Chrome users

  I have been using Safari with ClickToPlugin and was wondering if there was anything similar for Chrome. I am looking for both the click-through to plugin functionality as well as the HTML5 video replacements. I've done some looking around the Chrome extensions page and found some specific extensions to help with forcing the HTML5 on YouTube or to block Flash but none seem offer the generic functionality (click-through works for any given plugin) and flexibility that ClickToPlugin does (ClickToPlugin has HTML5 video replacements for a plethora of websites). I am looking to mimic the aforementioned features in Chrome, but they don't necessarily have to be provided by one single extension.

• Change the audio output device in Firefox

  I'm trying to play music through Ventrilo and currently I use Virtual Audio Cable. The way it works is that in foobar2000 (a music playing program) I set the output device in preferences to Virtual Audio Cable. Then in Ventrilo I log in to another name and set the input device to Virtual Audio Cable. This routes the music through the Virtual Audio Cable and allows me to play the music through Ventrilo. However, I would also like to change the output device for Firefox (or any other browser) or "Plugin Container for Firefix" to Virtual Audio Cable so that I could play music from Pandora or YouTube on to Ventrilo. Unfortunately I could not find an option for this anywhere.

• Streaming video in Virtualbox jumpy

  I am trying to get Netflix to work on my Ubuntu netbook. I know it will not run in Linux so I am trying it in my Win XP virtual machine. It streams the video but the sound and video are out of sync and the video often freezes and jumps. I have tried Firefox, Chrome, and even IE. I am thinking my Atom N455 processor does not work well with virtualization. All other apps in the VM work fine. The only issue is streaming [YouTube is jumpy too].Does anyone know of Virtualbox settings I can try to possibly fix this issue or am I out of luck?

• Sound card problem, no audio device detected

  I bought a new sound card because my built in sound card did not function. When I open YouTube, Media Player or anything that can create a sound my computer will hang up and sometimes when I start my computer it will hang when the Windows XP sound will activate. Update: My computer has no audio. It says NO AUDIO DEVICE. I already installed Realtek AC97 and Realtek High Definition Audio Driver and I also pasted stream.dll to the Windows and system32 folders and I restarted my computer but it still says NO AUDIO DEVICE. Please help me. Thanks

• Ubuntu firefox: some web-pages stuck on loading

  Just installed Ubuntu 10.04 beta, installation went fine and all programs are working smooth. Just this one weird network problem. Some sites simply are not opening and loading forever. For example, google.com and youtube are working well, but ubuntu.com and many other are not opening at all, or are loaded partly. One thing i noticed is that on all of those pages on firefox status bar is message "Looking up for www.google-analytics.com" (or similar remote resources) message appearing all the time (even on this page, but it somehow has loaded and working). I should mention that i tried those pages to open on windows OS on this same machine, and they opened without problems. So i am guessing that it has to be some sort of network configuration problems on Ubuntu. What could cause such problem?
