  I'm using Ubuntu 12.04 64bit. I'm using HTTP proxy over ssh as mentioned here. If I do not start TinyProxy, everything is OK. But, when I start TinyProxy, I'm getting the following. • GD DLL installation

  I'm using the JpGraph library(PHP graphing Lib). I'm getting the foll error: "JpGraph Error Your PHP installation does not seem to have the required GD 2.x library enabled. Please see the PHP documentation, "Image" section. Make sure that "php_gd2.dll" statement is uncomment in the [modules] section in the php.ini file" I uncommented the php_gd2.dll statement in php.ini(in C:\WINDOWS) and set the 'extension_dir' as extension_dir = C:\PHP\extensions (I have a extensions directory and put the php_gd2.dll in this directory ). I restarted IIS and when I fire up my webapp, it doesnt comeup. I commented out the php_gd2.dll and restarted IIS again. The webapp came up. I dont understand what I'm doing wrong. Here is the server config: Windows Server 2003, with IIS Version 6. The PHP version is 4.3.8

  I scraped a bunch of pages using wget -m -k -E. The resulting files have names in the form foo.php?bar.html. Apache guesses everything after the ? is a query string, is there a way to tell it to ignore the ? as the query string delimiter (and see foo.php?bar.html as the requested file and not foo.php)? To save you a trip to wget manpage: -m : mirror recursively -E : foo.php?bar becomes foo.php?bar.html -k : convert links in pages (foo.php?bar now links to foo.php?bar.html inside of all the pages so they display properly)

• sqlsrv not showing up in my phpinfo

  I have just installed php 5.3 on windows server 2008 R2 running IIS7. phpinfo() is working fine. now I want to see if I have correctly installed the Microsoft Drivers for PHP for SQL Server. I downloaded from here: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?FamilyID=80E44913-24B4-4113-8807-CAAE6CF2CA05#RelatedResources I have dropped the 2 dlls (php_pdo_sqlsrv_53_nts_vc9.dll and php_sqlsrv_53_nts_vc9.dll) into the PHP\ext folder and referenced them in the php.ini I restarted the server. But when I run phpinfo() I'm not seeing any reference to sqlsrv is that normal? or should there also be a section of phpinfo() dedicated to these sqlsrv extensions? Error logging is on but there are no errors coming up in the php-errors.log referring to sqlsrv. Both files php_pdo_sqlsrv_53_nts_vc9.dll and php_sqlsrv_53_nts_vc9.dll have been added (non thread safe version for IIS), php5.dll is present in the php install folder. Thanks for any pointers.

Et je remarque que, pour le C++, je code quand même bien plus vite avec un EDI plus que correct (Visual Studio) qu'avec Notepad++. Ce n'est pas le premier que je tente d'utiliser mais c'est le seul qui me convient. J'ai déjà essayé NetBeans avec support de symfony, mais je n'ai pas vraiment réussi à le prendre en main, pas hypra intuitif, etc. Ce qui fait que je suis retourné vite fait à mon Notepad++. Mais c'était au tout début du support de symfony (6.5, il me semble). Depuis, on en est à la 6.9 (7.0 en beta), est-ce que ça vaut la peine de réessayer cet EDI ? ...

  I have an EC2 instance which is serving up PHP pages with nginx and php-fpm. This works perfectly fine when accessed through the public DNS for the instance. After that I modified my virtual host setting and it is working. • How to get search engines to properly index an ajax driven search page

  I have an ajax-driven search page that will allow users to search through a large collection of records. Each search result points to index.php?id=xyz (where xyz is the id of the record). The initial view does not have any records listed, and there is no interface that allows you to browse through all records. You can only conduct a search. How do I build the page so that spiders can crawl each record? Or is there another way (outside of this specific search page) that will allow me to point spiders to a list of all records. FYI, the collection is rather large, so dumping links to every record in a single request is not a workable solution. Outputting the records must be done in multiple requests. Each record can be viewed via a single page (eg "record.php?id=xyz"). I would like all the records indexed without anything indexed from the sitemap that shows where the records exist, for example: <a href="/result.php?id=record1">Record 1</a> <a href="/result.php?id=record2">Record 2</a> <a href="/result.php?id=record3">Record 3</a> <a href="/seo.php?page=2">next</a> Assuming this is the correct approach, I have these questions: How would the search engines find the crawl page? Is it possible to prevent the search engines from indexing the words "Record 1", etc. and "next"? Can I output only the links? Or maybe something like:

• Running CRON job on Ubuntu server for SugarCRM

  I am pretty inexperienced in Linux, so be descriptive on your answer. My environment: Local Linux server 12.04 hosting Sugar CRM 6.5.2. There is area in sugar CRM called scheduler. I can configured some predefined jobs here. in my case i am trying to run email reminders (ever min/hour/day/month). For this scheduler to be effective, i read some where i need to setup CRON job. So I did some research & finally put following lines in CRONTAB for the root user, as per instructions given in sugarCRM. * * * * * cd /var/www/crm; php -f cron.php > /dev/null 2>&1 Well I am creating contracts in my sugarCRM (AOS module) & I want email reminders to be sent for these contracts to the concern person. Now my sugarCRM email is configured correctly & I can send test emails using it. But the CRON + scheduler not giving any result. I can't receive any emails. Then I tried to read /var/log/syslog & it is showing entry for following line each minute. Oct 27 15:03:01 unicomm CRON[28182]: (root) CMD (cd /var/www/crm; php -f cron.php /dev/null 2&1) I've few questions: what does the CRON job line i've added in crontab mean? cd /var/www/crm; php -f cron.php > /dev/null 2>&1 is not making any sense to me. How am i suppose to get this thing work? I've searched a lot (including SugarCRM forum), but no luck.

• Can .htaccess slow down a site?

  I'm working with a client on an e-commerce website. I implemented clean URLs using .htaccess. I also used .htaccess to solve canonical issues such as redirecting www to non-www and removing index.php from the URL. The website recently began to slow down dramatically, sometimes not even loading. The site is hosted on GoDaddy, and when the client called GoDaddy they told him it was the .htaccess file slowing down the website. I find this highly unlikely because of my past experiences, but I'm not 100% sure. My thinking is that the client's website is most likely on a shared server with a busy neighborhood, thus slowing down the site. It's not always slow, but rather sporadic throughout the day, loading fast at some points and slow at other points in time. Can the .htaccess file slow down a website to a crawl? If so, are there better ways to solve these problems with different rewrite rules and such? I'm using WebHost Manager / CPanel which is supposed to create multiple users/vhosts and have Apache spawn it's process as that user/group. This isn't happening. If I run the command as is I get an error saying Error creating the socket: Address already in use root@ubuntu:~# kill 9000; Please help.

  For testing I hosted my website on free server from 000webhost.com They have a directory structure:- (root folder) \ (public folder) \public_html this directory structure enables to keep all the library files in root folder and all public data in \public_html, so I developed my website accordingly, and my final structure looked like:- / /include(this folder contains library files) /logs(log files) /public_html /public_html/index.php /public_html/home.php /public_html/and other public files on 000webhost makes only public_folder available to be accessed via url and my url looked neat and clean like www.xample.com/index.php or www.example.com/home.php but after completion of development I moved website to shared host purchased from go-daddy.com, now they do not have any such kind of directory permission, all the files are kept in root folder and are accessible via url also url has become like:- www.example.com/public_html/home.php or www.example.com/public_html/index.php How should I redirect url request to public_html folder again so as to make library file unavailable to public access and make url neat and clean.
