  • Cryastl Reports is not recognizing that a new parameter has been added to the report's stored proc

    i have added another input parameter to a stored proc used by a crystal report. i've had our dba recompile the stp to be sure that the new parameter is cached and "really there". i cannot get my crystal report to recognize the new parameter -- i've tried verifying database and using the Set Datasource Location/Update to re-select the stp. i'm using cr11 against a 2005 sql server db. any other suggestions?

    Does anyone know how to Unzip password protected files in an SSIS package? We have an SSIS package that currently use java.util.zip to unzip zip file and has been working perfectly for some time now. They now want to password protect the files and unfortunetly this library cannot do it. We are using a SQL server 2008 with .Net 3.5 on the windows server 2008 R2.

  • MSSQL, varchar data to nvarchar data

    I've got a database with collation Danish_Norwegian_CS_AS and lots of varchar columns. I'd like to convert all this data to unicode, but haven't found a way to convert this data yet. If I've understood correctly, the encoding used is UCS-2 little endian. For example I've got a column containing 'PÃ¥l-Trygve' which is easily converted with C# to 'Pål-Trygve' using Encoding.Default.GetString(Encoding.UTF8.GetBytes("PÃ¥l-Trygve")); Is there a way to do this conversion in the microsoft SQL client?

I want to select back the items that don't exist already, so I can create them. table tags +---------+-------+ | tagId | name | | 1 | C | | 2 | DX | | 3 | CG | Say SQL looks like: select name from tags where name in ( 'C', 'CG', 'RX' ) You get back 'C' and 'CG', so you know you have to create 'RX'. Is there a way to get a MySQL statement like this to return 'RX' instead, when 'RX' doesn't already exist?

I can do this with the following SQL query, but don't know how to do it through django. For example, in 2008, January 1st to January 6th are in week 1 and January 7th to the 13th are in week 2, so if my date was January 10th 2008, my week number would be 2.     I have a dictionary that is populated with data from a table, we are doing this so we can hold multiple SQL tables inside this object. This approached cannot be discussed. The Dictionary is mapped as a , and contains SQL column name and the value, and each dictionary resembles one row entry in the Table. Now I need to display this on a editable gridview, preferably the ASPxGridView. I already figured out that I should use Dynamic Objects(C#), and everything worked perfectly, up to the part where I find out that the ASPxGridview is built in .NET 2.0 and not 4.0 where Dynamic objects where implemented, therefor I cannot use it... I've tried to iterate within ruby over each record, but this takes much too long and quits sometimes with some "segmentation fault" bugs. So i wonder, if its possible to do this with a raw sql query?
