  • Is there a way to inspect the current rpath on Linux?

    I'm aware that it is possible to use 'readelf -d | grep RPATH' to inspect a given binary from the shell, but is it possible to do this within a process? Something like (my completely made up system call): /* get a copy of current rpath into buffer */ sys_get_current_rpath(&buffer); I'm trying to diagnose some suspect SO linking issues in our codebase, and would like to inspect the RPATH this way if possible (I'd rather not have to spawn an external script).

    Hi, im traversing through the registry, taking the values of the keys and storing them as strings. I have discovered there are many different types. Some of these types are causing my filestream writer to fail. Is it possible to convert all of the below into a string form.     We have a Scala project with few source files (in Scala and Java) and quite some dependencies in various binary formats (jar and DLL). I'm wondering what should go into our shared git repo. Only the source files (developers have to download or somehow resolve the dependencies themselves) or the both the source files and the dependencies? I may add that dependencies are all third parties and available for download for free.

    I have an application which I'm adding pictures and these are automatically converted to binary and stored in a single file. how can I save several images, I keep in an XML file start and size of each set of refente to an image byte. But it has several images in bytes, whenever I try to select a different set of bytes just opening the same image. I would like your help to be able to fix this and open different images.     I have a Cocoa application which uses an installer. I want to be able to run code coverage over the code (after it has been installed). This is not the usual unit-test scenario where a single binary will run a suite of tests. Rather, the tests in question will interact with the UI and the app back-end whilst it is running, so I ideally want to be able to start the application knowing that Gcov is profiling it and then run tests against it. Any ideas?

    Hi all, im trying to get image size(DIMENSIONS) of hundreds of remote images and getimagesize is way too slow. ive done some reading and found out the quickest way would be to use get_file_contents to read a certain aount of bytes from the images and examining the size within the binary data. Anyone attempted this before? How would i examine different formats. Seen any library for this? please let me know

Is it a memory address stored in one of the registers?

    i am trying to use viewpager from android support library v4 in intelli j currently i have android sdk 4.1 I copied android-support-v4.jar to my intellij android project under 'libs' in the project settings of intellij I webt to "Modules" = "MyModuleName" = dependencies tab, and add the android-support-v4.jar, by navigating the path to the libs/ folder under my own project I checked the 'export' besides this newly added jar file but i still can't use viewpager in my application i get a crash msg like java.lang.RuntimeException: Unable to start activity ComponentInfo{com.xxxx/com.xxxx.MyActivity}: android.view.InflateException: Binary XML file line #13: Error inflating class android.support.v4.view.ViewPager
