But the response time for TestCase1 is about 3 times better than TestCase2. Can someone see what i am missing here ? many thanks

  I am using BitmapFactory.decodeFile to load Bitmaps of images into my application. However, the function returns null on large images (such as those from the camera). The filepath is definitely correct, I just can't figure out why it would return null. I tried supersampling, but it didn't seem to help. Does anyone have any idea why it would do this or how I could more easily load images taken from the camera into a Bitmap? Thanks.

When I disable my connectivity, it looks like the jquery .load() function silently fails and doesn't even call its callback function. I've set $.ajaxSetup ({cache: true}); but it seems to have no effect. I also have my manifest file etc. working fine - the only issue is the .load() function. Any ideas?

  I have an RIA Service that returns image data (Byte[]) and caption of image (String) from SQL Server. The data part can sometimes be a few MB's so it can take quite a while to load. I would like to load the bytes independently of the caption (which loads very fast). Is there a way to do this without having to create a second image context?
