• jQuery: Show and hide child div when hovering

  Hi there, I've got a set of items. Each item has two images and some text. For the images I've created a parent div which has an overflow:hidden CSS value. I want to achieve an mouseover effect. As soon as you hover over the images I want to hide the current div and show the second div. Here's a small snippet: <div class="product-images"> <div class="product-image-1"><img src="image1.gif>" /></div> <div class="product-image-2"><img src="images2.gif" /></div> </div> I've created a small jQuery snippet: jQuery(document).ready(function() { jQuery('.product-images').mouseover(function() { jQuery('.product-image-1').hide(); }).mouseout(function() { jQuery('.product-image-1').show(); }); }); Now the problem is that not only the currently hovered child is hidden. Instead all other existing childs are hidden as well. I need something like "this" or "current" but I don't know which jQuery function is the right one. Any idea? Thanks, BJ

• Delphi - How to prevent Forms/MsgBoxes to move under prior form?

  Hi! Many times we experienced after Windows 98 era that some dialogs are lost their Z-Order, and moved back to prior form. For example: Dialog1.ShowModal; Dialog1.OnClickButton() : ShowMessage('anything'); When MessageBox appears, sometimes not got focus, it is moved under Dialog1. The users confused on it, because they are say: application freezed!!! But if they are uses AltTab to move another app and back, the focus return to the MessageBox, and it will be the foreground Window. We experienced this with ShowMessage, MessageBox, normal forms, QuickReport forms also. Is anyone knows about this? Is it Windows bug? How to prevent it? How to catch this? Thanks for your help: dd

• Android: ProgressDialog doesn't show

  Hi, I'm trying to create a ProgressDialog for an Android-App (just a simple one showing the user that stuff is happening, no buttons or anything) but I can't get it right. I've been through forums and tutorials as well as the Sample-Code that comes with the SDK, but to no avail. This is what I got: btnSubmit.setOnClickListener(new View.OnClickListener() { public void onClick(View view) { (...) ProgressDialog pd = new ProgressDialog(MyApp.this); pd.setProgressStyle(ProgressDialog.STYLE_HORIZONTAL); pd.setMessage("Working..."); pd.setIndeterminate(true); pd.setCancelable(false); // now fetch the results (...long time calculations here...) // remove progress dialog pd.dismiss(); I've also tried adding pd.show(); and messed around with the parameter in new ProgressDialog resulting in nothing at all (except errors that the chosen parameter won't work), meaning: the ProgressDialog won't ever show up. The app just keeps running as if I never added the dialog. I don't know if I'm creating the dialog at the right place, I moved it around a bit but that, too, didnt't help. • Converting Multiple files to zip and saving them in ownCloud

  I wanted to convert an array with some css, js and html files into a zip file and save them in ownCloud (it has it's own framework but it's knowledge is not required.) What I am saving is an infinite loop of zip files, as in, a zip inside a zip so I can't even check that the code is working correctly or not. Please help. I created a form according to the Django tutorial "Working with forms", but I don't know how to render information I got from the POST forms. • PHP FTP Upload thousands of files

  Hi, I've written a small FTP class which I used to move files from a local server to a remote server. It does this by checking an array of local files with an array of files on the remote server. If the file exists on the remote server, it won't bother uploading it. The script works fine for small amounts of files, but I've noticed that the local server can have as many as 3000+ image files to transfer, this seems to cause the script to flop and only transfer a 100 or so. How can I modify the script to handle potentially thousands of image transfer files?

• Optimize included files and uses in Delphi

  I try to increase performance of Delphi 2007 and Codeinsight. In the application there are 483 files added in the DPR file. I don't know if it is imagination but I feel that I got better performance from Codeinsight by simply readd all files in the DPR. I also think (correct me if I'm wrong) that all files that are included in a uses section also should be included in the DPR file for best performance. My question is, does it exists a tool that scan the whole project and give a list what files are missing in the DPR file and what files can be removed? Would also be nice to have a list of uses that can be removed in the PAS files. Regards

• Datepicker BeforeShowDay CSS problem with content styling

  I think I'm not the only one having this problem. Whenever I try to apply a BeforeShowDay a new CSS class, the content of the "special date" is not being modified. I tried changing the default theme, adding a new class, but this is affecting only the outside border and not the inside content. Using Firebug I found that the html code being printed is the following: <td class=" ui-state-content ui-state-anulados" onclick="DP_jQuery.datepicker._selectDay('#datepicker',9,2009, this);return false;" title="Paddle"> <a class="ui-state-default" href="#">16</a> </td> So, my class would be ui-state-content ui-state-anulados but I notice that the ui-state-default class is being applied automatically and I suspect that this may be the problem. I really don't know how to solve this. I've been looking inside ui.datepicker.js code and I think I found the line that is giving me this problems. It is line number 1394 and it has the following code. (ui.datepicker.js) (unselectable ? • Nginx: Disallow index.html in URL

  We're generating a site consisting of only static files (using Assemble). Having the .html extension on URLs looks so nineties, so we generate every static HTML file in its own directory and call it index.html. For example, the url http://www.example.com/foo/bar/ is in the file /var/www/foo/bar/index.html. This works well, but there is one small thing nagging me: Now there are two possible URLs to the same resource: http://www.example.com/foo/bar/ (slash URL) http://www.example.com/foo/bar/index.html (index.html URL) By accident someone may link to the index.html form of the URL, which is bad for SEO and looks ugly (remember the nineties?). Is it possible in Nginx to give a 404 error on the index.html URL, but serve the slash URL? I tried this: location ~ /index\.html$ { return 404; } But it seems that Nginx does some internal rewrite of the slash URL to the index.html URL, and then matches this location so we get a 404 even on the slash URL. Note that to catch mistakes, we want index.html URLs to be an error, not just redirect to the slash URL.

• Drupal view filter to show only one of a certain item

  I'm fairly new to Drupal, and am using Node Import to take a TSV file and turn it into nodes. I'm hitting a problem, though, with automating updates to the nodes. Again, I'd like to take a Tab Separated Values text file, and load it into my site via Node Import (or whatever else anyone might suggest) and then only show updated Nodes. Here's a specific example: I have a Node with the following info: StoreId Name Address Phone Contact 01 Name1 Address1 Phone1 Contact1 02 Name2 Address2 Phone2 Contact2 etc. The info pulls into the nodes just fine (Thank you Node Import!), but we also want to process updates to the nodes. So far I have two ideas... figure out how to delete duplicate (previous) instances of the same StoreID, or just save the node with the duplicate StoreID (and new other info) and just display the most current version. In Views, I can get it to show the nodes and everything, but I can't figure out how to only display the most recent version of each StoreID. A view of views would work, but I can't seem to get that to work, either. Any ideas or other approaches I could take? Thanks in advance for the help!

• Magento products will not show in category

  I've recently been tasked with the build and deployment of a large Ecommerce site. In the past we've had to use the clients legacy X-cart installation for redevelopment (too far integrated with their existing work flow). We'd heard good things about Magento, so I've set up a test install to get to grips with it. After a couple of initial issues, there is a live development site which displays categories on the default theme. The problem we've hit now is that products don't display..! After a lot more in-depth research into this, all I've been able to discover is that quite a number of developers endorse using other solutions entirely, with the other 50% saying after the steep learning curve the platform is as wonderful as we'd initially been led to believe. Now, my test category is showing, so I know this is configured properly. I've set up three test products and associated them with this (all done following the Magento user guide), checked double checked and thrice checked the products are enabled and visible individually, yet still the front end says the category has no products in it. I've cleared the cache repeatedly, reset everything possible many times in index management - no products show up. I have to make a call tomorrow morning on whether we're going ahead with Magento. If I can't even get it to show products I'm going to have to go with something with a more established track record and more community support available. Can anybody advise what could possibly be wrong here?

  Hi When entering code in CMS static block(possible page as well) and in this code there is empty DIV tags such us: <a href="javascript:hide1(),show2(),hide3()"><div class="dropoff_button"></div></a> The DIV tags will be gone next time you open the block to edit. it will look as this <a href="javascript:hide1(),show2(),hide3()"> </a> without the div tags ...and saving again it modifies your code. I think it something to do with the 'show/hide editor'. By default it goes into the WYSIWYG editor, so when updating static block i don't see any other solution than 1."hide the editor' by clicking 'show/hide editor' 2.delete the old code from the editor 3. get code that doesn't miss the DIVs 4. Merge new code with code in 3 in some other editing software than magento 5. paste result in the magento editor, 6. Save Is this bug? What is your solution? Can i turn of WYSIWYG editor?

• UIAlertView Will not show

  I have a program that is requesting a JSON string. I have created a class that contains the connect method below. When the root view is coming up, it does a request to this class and method to load up some data for the root view. When I test the error code (by changing the URL host to 127.0.0.1), I expect the Alert to show. Behavior is that the root view just goes black, and the app aborts with no alert. No errors in debug mode on the console, either. Any thoughts as to this behavior? I've been looking around for hints to this for hours to no avail. Thanks in advance for your help. • Zabbix doesn't update value from file neither with log[] nor with vfs.file.regexp[] item

  I am using Zabbix 2.2. I have a very specific environment, where I have to generate desired data to file via script, then upload that file to ftp from host and download it to Zabbix server from ftp. After file is downloaded, I check it with log[] and vfs.file.regexp[] items. I use these items as below: log[/path/to/file.txt,"C.*\s([0-9]+\.[0-9])$",Windows-1250,,"all",\1] vfs.file.regexp[/path/to/file.txt,"C.*\s([0-9]+\.[0-9])$",Windows-1250,,,\1] The line I am parsing looks like below: C: 8195Mb 5879Mb 2316Mb 28.2 The value I want to extract is 28.2 at the end of file. The problem I am currently trying to solve is that when I update the file (upload from host to ftp, then download from ftp to Zabbix server), the value does not update. I was trying only log[] at start, but I suspect, that log[] treat the file as real log file and doesn't check the same lines (althought, following the documentation, it should with "all" value), so I added vfs.file.regexp[] item too. The log[] has received a value in past, but it doesn't update. The vfs.file.regexp[] hasn't received any value so far. file.txt has got reuploaded and redownloaded several times and situation doesn't change. It seems that log[] reads only new lines in the file, it doesn't check lines already caught if there are any changes. The zabbix_agentd.log file doesn't report any problem with access to file, nor with regexp construction (it did report "unsupported" for log[] key, when I had something set up wrong). I use debug logging level for agent - I haven't found any interesting info about that problem. I have no idea what I might be doing wrong or what I do not know about how Zabbix is performing these checks. I see 2 solutions for that: adding more lines to the file instead of making new one or making new files and check them with logrt[], but those doesn't satisfy my desires. Any help is greatly appreciated. Of course I will provide additional information, if requested - for now I don't know what else might be useful.

• On a Hudson master node, what are the .tmp files created in the workspace-files folder?

  Question: In the path HUDSON_HOME/jobs/<jobname>/builds/<timestamp>/workspace-files, there are a series of .tmp files. What are these files, and what feature of Hudson do they support? Background Using Hudson version 1.341, we have a continuous build task that runs on a slave instance. After the build is otherwise complete, including archiving the artifacts, task scanner, etc., the job appears to hang for a long period of time. In monitoring the master node, I noted that many .tmp files were being created and modified under builds//workspace=files, and that some of them were very large. This appears to be causing the delay, as the job completed at the same time that files in this path stopped changing. Some key configuration points of the job: It is tied to a specific slave node It builds in a 'custom workspace' It triggers a downstream job that builds in the same custom workspace on the same slave node

So basically I don't want the "module" that is hovered to get the class, I want it to do exactly what I am showing here...sliding .caption up and down on end hover, I just want all other ".caption"s to get the under class when any ".module" is hovered. Just hitting a dead end with what I have been trying, want to do it in the same function. Any ideas?

I need to show 5 radio buttons when a checkbox is checked, the checkboxes represent languages that the user speaks, so for each of the selected, there should appear 5 separate radio buttons for how good they speak it(1 to 5). And I tried to hide a present control with CSS, but then when the script shows it, it is there, only invisible :) Also, I would want to get the name and value of the radio buttons from my database, i.e. Model(this is ASP.NET MVC).. Can someone help me a little bit, please?

• Overlapping audio in IE when I show/hide videos

  I have a thumbnail list with links to individual videos. Everything works fine in all browsers but IE. In IE, if I start a video and (without slicking pause or stop) click on the thumbnail for the next video, the audio continues playing. In other words, the audio for both videos plays at once. Any suggestions? • Show div based on getDay and getHours + getMinutes

  I am building a website for a radio station and want to show which presenter is currently on air. I have built a web app that contains data on the presenter: name, photo, bio and start/end times for each weekday. <div id="presenter1"> <div class="slot"> <div id="sunday-off"> - </div> <div id="monday-afternoon">12:00 - 15:59</div> <div id="tuesday-afternoon">12:00 - 15:59</div> <div id="wednesday-afternoon">12:00 - 15:59</div> <div id="thursday-afternoon">12:00 - 15:59</div> <div id="friday-afternoon">12:00 - 15:59</div> <div id="saturday-morning">06:00 - 08:59</div> </div> </div> What I would like to do is use Javascript functions getDay() and getHours() + getMinutes() to show only the presenter that is scheduled to be on air based on the times specified in the app. The main part I am having difficulty with is with determining whether this presenter falls within the current time and then showing/hiding the div as necessary. Any help or guidance on how I can acheive this would be greatly appreciated.

• Form.Show() is not showing it's child controls

  I have a form, frmPleaseWait, that has a MarqueeProgressBar and a Label that I want to use when the UI is loading the data in a poorly structured app we have. The problem is that frmPleaseWait.Show() shows the form but not the controls in it. It is just a white rectangle. Now frmPleaseWait.ShowDialog() shows the child controls but doesn't let the UI load it's data. What am I missing? Below is a code snippet from where I am trying this.
