  • Mediawiki extension error

    I'm running the latest version of mediawiki using MoWeS Portable II from my desktop. I just installed this extension on the wiki http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Extension:MsUpload It adds an option to upload files (to be embedded in an article) to the edit screen of an article. After installing it when I try and edit an article I get the following error: Fatal error: Call to undefined method OutputPage::addModules() in C:\Users\User\Desktop\knowledge mapedia 10 25 13 copy\mowes_portable\www\mediawiki\extensions\MsUpload\msupload.php on line 65 Also here is what I posted in the localsettings.php file (I put it in at the end of localsettings.php if it makes a difference): Start --------------------------------------- MsUpload $wgMSU_ShowAutoKat = false; #autocategorisation $wgMSU_CheckedAutoKat = false; #checkbox for autocategorisation checked $wgMSU_debug = false; #debug mode $wgMSU_ImgParams = '400px'; #default max-size for inserted image $wgMSU_UseDragDrop = true; #show drag&drop area require_once "$IP/extensions/MsUpload/msupload.php"; End --------------------------------------- MsUpload require_once "$IP/extensions/msupload/msupload.php"; At line 65 in the localsettings.php file there is the following: line 64 ## Database settings line 65 $wgDBtype = "mysql"; line 66 $wgDBserver = "localhost"; line 67 $wgDBname = "mediawiki"; line 68 $wgDBuser = "root"; line 69 $wgDBpassword = ""; Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

    I have a specialized set of rewrite rules to accommodate a mutli site cms setup. I am trying to have nginx force a trailing slash on the request URL. I would like it to redirect requests for domain.com/some-random-article to domain.com/some-random-article/ I know there are semantic considerations with this, but I would like to do it for SEO purposes. Here is my current server config. server { listen 80; server_name domain.com mirror.domain.com; root /rails_apps/master/public; passenger_enabled on; # Redirect from www to non-www if ($host = 'domain.com' ) { rewrite ^/(.*)$ http://www.domain.com/$1 permanent; } location /assets/ { expires 1y; rewrite ^/assets/(.*)$ /assets/$http_host/$1 break; } # / -> index.html if (-f $document_root/cache/$host$uri/index.html) { rewrite (.*) /cache/$host$1/index.html break; } # /about -> /about.html if (-f $document_root/cache/$host$uri.html) { rewrite (.*) /cache/$host$1.html break; } # other files if (-f $document_root/cache/$host$uri) { rewrite (.*) /cache/$host$1 break; } } How would I modify this to add the trailing slash? The article claims that short variable names such as x, xs, and f are fitting for Haskell code, because of conciseness and abstraction. In essence, it claims that functional programming is such a distinct paradigm that the naming conventions from other paradigms don't apply. What are your thoughts on this?

    The page in question is featured here: http://www.allwebcafe.com/news/news-article.php?id=78 For some reason, when a user attempts to print any article of this type from a Webkit-based browser (I've confirmed this in both Safari and Chrome), the pages are all blank. On the flip side, everything behaves as expected in both Firefox and Internet Explorer. Thoughts?

    I am using Tablerow+TextView to make a simple view for blog posts and their replies. In each TableRow I put a TextView in. Now I have two issues: The text which is longer than the screen won't automatically wrap up to be multi-line. Is it by design of TableRow? I've already set tr_content.setSingleLine(false); [update] This has been addressed, I think I should change Fill_parent to be Wrap_content in textView.tr_author_time.setLayoutParams(new LayoutParams( LayoutParams.**WRAP_CONTENT**, LayoutParams.WRAP_CONTENT)); The Table won't scroll like ListView. My rows are more than the screen size. I expect the table could be scrolled down for viewing just like ListView. Is that possible? I found an article from the Eclipse.org marketing director where he states: "An organization that is 100% Microsoft probably won't/shouldn't consider Eclipse RCP."   • Effects of changing a node in a binary tree

    Suppose I want to change the orange node in the following tree. So, the only other change I'll need to make is in the left pointer of the green node. The blue node will remain the same. Am I wrong somewhere? Because according to this article (that explains zippers), even the blue node needs to be changed. Similarly, in this picture (recolored) from the same article, why do we change the orange nodes at all (when we change x)?

    Can anyone post a tutorial here on how to show a Wikipedia article in a .NET WinForms application (C# or VB)? If the article can be placed in a string it suffices, there`s no need to put it on any control. I found some information on Wikipedia's API. After reading it, I added the reference to web service but can`t find a way to make this work. And if it's possible, explain how images are downloaded from wiki (link or image itself).
