  • Chinese IME input method in AZERTY on windows (Google IME)

    I'm using a Belgian Azerty keyboard. The chinese input method on Mac OS works just fine, but on Windows, if I use the Google IME for example, a = z q = w etc... so it uses a qwerty layout even though my keyboard is azerty. Can I make Google IME use an azerty layout, or is there other software that uses the azerty layout instead of qwerty

    Hi, i hope u can help me with this problem. I just bought a new motorola DEXT with Android 1.5 and all the app's works well, but i can't find google talk. I use the Astro file manager and it is install in the services folder the google talk service and the IM or instant messaging service but for one reason i just can't use it, it keeps telling me that Main Activitynot found for com.gooogle.android.apps.gtalkservices Thanks!

    So I want to write a servlet which uploads a video to a youtube channel using the Java API, but I can't seem to find a way of specifying that I want to go through a proxy server. I've seen an example on this site where someone managed to do this using C#, but the Classes they used don't seem to exist in the Java API. Has anybody managed to successfully do this?     Hi! I'm looking for a map API where I can get detailed elevation for points. I'm not looking elevation differences for certain paths along roads on the map but actual building heights. Getting the the 3d meshes for buildings would also be fine since I can compute the height myself using that information. Does any of the map API's out there support giving out this kind of information?

Preferably this would be done through an API and by exposing them through a custom secured webservice. I know Sitefinity can do this. Do you know if Umbraco DotNetNuke can do this?   • Open Google Reader links in background Safari tab?

    When you press the v keyboard shortcut in Google Reader, it opens a new tab. Regardless of the setting "When a new tab or window is opened, make it active" setting (Under Preferences Tabs), it becomes the frontmost tab when opened. Is there a way to have all tabs open in the background, like when you Cmd+click? (I'm aware of other alternative solutions, such as Firefox which handles this correctly, or a desktop RSS such as NetNewsWire/Vienna which have an "open links in background" option, but I like Google Reader's interface and wish to continue using it)

    The bit.ly info API returns URLs for thumbnail images. When I attempt to access these images, I receive an access denied error. How do you access the thumbnail images generated by bit.ly? EDIT: I am testing the image URL by taking the URL provided by the info API and using the browser to access. Bit.ly returns an Access Denied error code. Do I need to somehow provide the login and apikey?

So how can I add google.ie to IE9, only options searching iegallery are .com, .co.uk but no .ie TIA edit had a brainwave to search the registry and found the entry for it. HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareMicrosoftInternet ExplorerSearch Scopes and find the entry for the google search url

    I want Firefox to redirect bad and broken links to Google search instead of the "Can't find the server" page. If it takes an add-on, that's okay. When you enter a bad or broken link in Google Chrome, the browser takes you to a search results page with all possibly relevant links to the request attempted. Please don't suggest the search-tool-bar, I am aware of it. And it's not really significant in this scenario.
