    Hi, I would like to use a UIWebView to display some files (PDF, PPT, DOC) and would like to have the ability to scroll using external controls (ie a couple of buttons that, when pressed skip back and forward a page) and display the current page in a UITextView. Is this possible? I have no experience with javascript, but a friend of mine has suggested that this might be a useful approach. Is his suggestion valid? JP

We have a number of documents that are the same size i.e. 488x320mm, the content within these documents is always positioned relative to the top right of the document but varies in size i.e. 210x330mm, 240x350mm etc. What i need to do is 'find' the content block and move it from its current position to the centre of the sheet.     I am using pdf2swf (http://www.swftools.org/) to convert PDF's to .swf. I have written a flex application that loads the swf generated by pdf2swf. I want to enable select , copy and paste functions on the loaded swf. Is there a way to do this. Please note I am able to extract the text from the loaded swf using textSnapshot, which means the pdf2swf does not convert the text to shapes.

    I'm having an issue where when I publish my modspecs to pdf (XSL-FO). My tables are having issues, where the content of a cell will overflow its column into the next one. How do I force a break on the text so that a new line is created instead? I can't manually insert zero-space characters since the table entries are programmatically entered.
