  • How to refresh/redraw the screen (not the program window)

    I'm having a bit of a hard time figuring out, how to remove a drawn ellipse after it has been drawn somewhere else. I need a circle to follow my mouse all the time and this is all the program should do.     I have been trying to get this effect for a couple of hours now and I must admit I am failing at it. I am trying to construct a DIV that accepts a particular number of items (say 5), when the 6th item is added, the first item that was aded should be removed (first-in-first-out). The feel should have some kind of a fadeIn and fadeOut.     I have a problem with onload event. My page have 4 iframes and the function from onload event is called 5 times ( one for body and 4 for iframes ). I want only 1 time ( from main body ). Try with srcElement and target property from windows.event but no result... Is there a way to stop onload when iframes load?

  • clicking title bar fires onBlur in Opera

    Hi, I am closing a popup window at 'onBlur' defined for 'BODY' of an ASP webpage, so when a user clicks outside the popup the popup closes. I want the popup to be moveable around the screen and it works for all browsers but Opera. In Opera the 'onBlur' event is fired when clicking the titlebar of the popup - this seems weird for me, as the titlebar is a part of the popup window, right? What can I do about it?

  • Appending html code to a section inside a dialog window isn't working in IE6

    I'm using jQuery's validation on a form. When the form is validated, I'm using a submitHandler to fill a dialog with data from the form then I open the dialog to display it. Works great except for in IE6. Nothing displays. I've tried initializing the dialog before and after running the validation code but neither makes a difference.     Hello friends, i made a windows service & add project installer.in which only contain this code. System.Diagnostics.Process.Start(@"C:\Windows\system32\notepad.exe"); inside the timer tick event & interval is 60 sec.i just wanted to try to run Windows service. 1st-serviceProcessInstaller1 i have been changed its account setting as local system. 2nd-serviceInstaller1 in this case i have been changed its start up type as Automatic. then i create a setup add another project then right click add project output then add primary output then press ok. then go to Right click on project-view-custom Action-right click on Install-Add custom Action-select Application folder & add primary output.the same thing done for all the remaining options like commit,rollback,uninstall. after that i build the setup it build succesfully then i install the setup it installed properly into program file n create one .exe file n one Instalfile. but problem is that when i search the service into "services.msc" the service is not there. means service is not showing there.i tried but not getting the ans.plz help me to solve this problem.

    Is it possible to make GNU Emacs 24 dim unfocused windows a bit? For example, I can set my rxvt-unicode clients to become darker when their windows don't have focus with this string in ~/.Xdefaults: URxvt*fading: 50 It greatly reduces discomfort when you have a lot of terminal windows on 2+ monitors.     I've got a script that pulls information from an Excel(Mac Excel'04) spreadsheet, and processes it through a local database. My problem(which is temporary, pending a dedicated scripting machine w/ Excel '08) is when I need to work on another spreadsheet in Excel. I want to ensure that the AppleScript continues reading data from the correct spreadsheet. Is there a way to pass reference to the specific Excel file in AppleScript, as opposed to just telling the Application in general? Or possibly just referencing the spreadsheet without having to have it open ... ?

  • User Drawn Controls: the MSN chat window

    I'm wondering about the famous MSN chat clients conversation windows! I'm sure there must be alot of different aspects but I'd like to focus on those little sliding panes. For instance where the pictures of the people in the conversation is displayed. When you click the collapse button the pictures dissapear and the panel gracefully slides in, and when you click it again to expand, it slides out and the pictures are smoothly faded in. How would one go about customly drawing a control in WinForms that had simmilar behaviour?
