• Partial Trust in WPF 4

  I've started a new project in WPF 4 (.NET 4) and trying to see if I can run it in xbap mode. I need to run the application in Full Trust with the new mode made available in .NET 4 which asks the end user if the full trust application should be run. I've set the "Security" mode to "Full Trust" application, and it builds just fine. When I run it, an exception is thrown and IE error message shows the following error. Any ways around it??   Hey there, I have a database already set up. I am trying to change the collation to case sensitive on my username column so it restricts login parameters to what they signed up with. However I keep getting this: #1025 - Error on rename of './yebutno_ybn/#sql-76dc_8581dc' to './yebutno_ybn/user' (errno: 150) there is foreign key constraints due to related tables.... any ideas? this will save me a lot of hassle with the php side of things!   I am trying to do a simple build automation of my iPhone apps with TeamCity, but having this nagging issue.. When I manually pickup and install .app file from the build folder it works great (syncs smoothly with iTunes and I can see the app on my phone) But when I try to zip this with /bin/zip or ditto...then the zipped contents loose the CodeSigning (iTunes says that it cannot install this app because its not signed) I have tried different combinations of these.. ditto -ck --rsrc --keepParent HelloWorld.app HelloWorld.zip Any more ideas?

The error is from Catalina's protocol handler and the exception is java.io.FileNotFoundException trying to access my .keystore in the 'documents and settings' folder for my signed-on user (with admin, but not the user that installed the server). I can provide the stacktrace if that would help ... but my question is more fundamental about secure access to files and where is the keystore configured / used on a Window's install?

• Problem Implementing StructureMap in VB.Net Conversion of SharpArchitecture

  I work in a VB.Net environment and have recently been tasked with creating an MVC enviroment to use as a base to work from. I decided to convert the latest SharpArchitecture release (Q3 2009) into VB, which on the whole has gone fine after a bit of hair pulling. I came across a problem with Castle Windsor where my custom repository interface (lives in the core/domain project) that was reference in the constructor of my test controller was not getting injected with the concrete implementation (from the data project). I hit a brick wall with this so basically decided to switch out Castle Windsor for StructureMap. I think I have implemented this ok as everything compiles and runs and my controller ran ok when referencing a custom repository interface. It appears now that I have/or cannot now setup my generic interfaces up properly (I hope this makes sense so far as I am new to all this). When I use IRepository(Of T) (wanting it to be injected with a concrete implementation of Repository(Of Type)) in the controller constructor I am getting the following runtime error: "StructureMap Exception Code: 202 No Default Instance defined for PluginFamily SharpArch.Core.PersistenceSupport.IRepository`1[[DebtRemedy.Core.Page, DebtRemedy.Core, Version=1.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null]], SharpArch.Core, Version=1.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b5f559ae0ac4e006" Here are my code excerpts that I am using (my project is called DebtRemedy).   We have a Java application that we need to ignore an expired self-signed cert, however we cannot modify the code to do this. I wondering if there was a System Property or environment variable that we could provide at start up that would allow us to have all expired cert's ignored for now, or even be more specific and provide externally the specific cert that we would like to have the expiration ignored. Anyone have any ideas that would work?

• How are integers casted to bytes in Java?

  I know Java doesn't allow unsigned types, so I was wondering how it casts an integer to a byte. Say I have an integer a with a value of 255 and I cast the integer to a byte. Is the value represented in the byte 11111111? In other words, is the value treated more as a signed 8 bit integer, or does it just directly copy the last 8 bits of the integer? Thanks, helixed

  Hello, I've set up two asp.net applications on a machine, their web.config files contain the same applicationName value in AspNetSqlMembershipProvider item so they share users and roles. The problem sequence is: user logs into application A, opens new tab in a browser logs into application B, his login in application A is signed out and vice versa. Should I use different approach to sharing login information between two applications? Thanks.

  Let's say I have this: float i = 1.5 in binary, this float is represented as: 0 01111111 10000000000000000000000 I broke up the binary to represent the 'signed', 'exponent' and 'fraction' chunks. What I don't understand is how this represents 1.5. The exponent is 0 once you subtract the bias (127 - 127), and the fraction part with the implicit leading one is 1.1. How does 1.1 scaled by nothing = 1.5???

  I keep getting 401 when trying to login via Oauth with Twitter. I'm using twitter_oauth-0.3.3 with oauth-0.3.6 in rails It used to work perfectly some time ago, so after some digging, I realised it might have something to do with my timezone. In the headers of the Twitter response, one of them is: date: - Sun, 11 Apr 2010 16:53:34 GMT Even though the time is actually 17:53:34 BST I'm assuming the request is signed using BST time, and so it fails. Anyone had this problem / found a fix for it?
