    User enters tag in the textbox. The textbox is a live search as the user types it brings up suggester results based on the tags already in the system, simiral to stackoverflow tag input :) Tags are separated by commas, so when a user selects a result from the livwe search, it automatically populates the text and a trailing comma does anybody know such plugin?

  • Why does JavaScript's getElementsByClassName provide an object that is NOT an array?

    I'm trying to get a list in JavaScript (not using jQuery) of all the elements on the page with a specific class name. I therefore employ the getElementsByClassName() function as follows: var expand_buttons = document.getElementsByClassName('expand'); console.log(expand_buttons, expand_buttons.length, expand_buttons[0]); Note that I have three anchor elements on my page with the class 'expand'. This console.log() outputs [] 0 undefined Next, for kicks, I threw expand_buttons into its own array as follows: var newArray = new Array(expand_buttons); console.log(newArray, newArray.length); This suddenly outputs [NodeList[3]] 1 and I can click through the nodelist and see the attributes of the three 'expand' anchor elements on the page. It's also worth noting that I was able to get my code working in a w3schools test page. It may also be of note that my use of document.getElementsByName actually does output (to the console) an array of elements, but when I ask for its length, it tells me 0. Similarly, if I try to access an array element using array_name[0] as normal, it outputs 'undefined', despite there clearly being an element inside of an array when I print the object to the console. Does anybody have any idea why this might be? I just want to loop through DOM elements, and I'm avoiding jQuery at the moment because I'm trying to practice coding with vanilla JavaScript.     Hi, I am having a problem filter a query. I have Contact and Tag entities. Actually in the database, they are 3 different tables, Contacts, Tags and ContactTag table. I would like to filter contacts using the Tag name.   • Set JTabbedPane width to constant

    I'm implementing an UI in Java Swing. Therefore I use a JTabbedPane. The tabbedPane has no components at startup. When i add a tab to the tabbedpane, the width of the tabbedpane increases, when i remove the tab, the width resizes to the width at the startup. This should not happen. The tabbedpane is placed on a JPanel which has a gridbag layout.     I am trying to parse Youtube Gdata to see if video with given id exists. But there isn't normal tag but with namespace. On the link http://gdata.youtube.com/feeds/api/videos?q=KgfdlZuVz7I there is tag: <openSearch:totalResults>1</openSearch:totalResults> There is namespace openSearch: xmlns:openSearch='http://a9.com/-/spec/opensearchrss/1.0/' but I dont know how to deal with it in Nokogiri and Ruby. E.g Post can have 0 or more Tags User can have 0 or more Tags Is there a better way in JPA than having to make all the entities subclass something like Taggable abstract class? Where a a Tag entity would reference many Taggables. thank you

This is easy, however our problem is that a user could essentially add a <b> tag some where and then not close it resulting in all of the comments thereafter and the rest of that page being bolded. How do we check and make sure that whatever tag is opened is now closed?

    Ok, I have been suck on it for hours. I thought net/imap.rb with ruby 1.9 supported the idle command, but not yet. Can anyone help me in implementing that?     I often find this strange CDATA tag in XML files: <![CDATA[]]> I have observed that this CDATA tag always comes at the beginning, and then followed by some stuff. But sometimes it is used, sometimes it is not. I assume it is to mark that some "data" will be inserted after that. But what kind of "data"? Isn't anything I write in XML tags some sort of "data"?
