So now what I need to do is convert video streams from pc camera into rtp/rtsp format.
Is there a good solution you recommend?
In MongoDB, I have a document with a field called "ClockInTime" that was imported from CSV as a string.
What does an appropriate db.ClockTime.update() statement look like to convert these text based values to a date datatype?

Hello,

Hi Guys,
I need to round a float value and convert it into NSInteger value.
for example:
float f = 90.909088;
I want the result as 91.
Can any one help to get rid of this.
Anyone's help will be much appreciated.
hopefully the question doesn't sound stupid, but there are lots of examples out there of achieving certain things in javascript/dom using jQuery. Using jQuery is not always an option (or even a want) which can make understanding the examples of javascript solutions written in jQuery hard.
Is there an easy way to convert jQuery code to regular javascript? I guess without having to access or understand the jQuery source code...
edit (future readers): pretend there is a logical reason why jQuery isn't available!
I am using .NET and am looking for a way to convert just about any document into a preview image. I say any, but the priorities are Office Documents, PDF, and most image files.
I would assume that I can somehow build upon the Windows Explorer's ability to preview documents... but I do not know how.
What would you do?
I guess that string drawing actually works with paths. Could I generate a path out of a string, which than can have a fill color and an outline color, and all this stuff? How would I convert an NSString into a path?
How can I convert a JSON string to an object in JavaScript? Is there a method that does this?
Something like:
var x = "{ id: 5, name: 'hello' }";
var y = /*something*/(x);
alert(y.id + " " + y.name);
The following unicode and string can exist on their own if defined explicitly:
>>> value_str='Andr\xc3\xa9'
>>> value_uni=u'Andr\xc3\xa9'
If I only have u'Andr\xc3\xa9' assigned to a variable like above, how do I convert it to 'Andr\xc3\xa9' in Python 2.5 or 2.6?
I am new to scala and I am finding the need to convert a boolean value to an integer. I know i can use something like if (x) 0 else 1 but I would like to know if there is a preferred method, or something built into the framework (ie toInt())
My C# code looks like this:
myNum = dt.Columns[0];
myNum is an integer and dt is a datatable. The value in column 0 of dt is a string ("12"), but I'd like to convert it to an integer. How can I do this?
I've tried:
myNum = int.Parse(dt.Columns[0]);
...but that doesn't work. Any ideas?

Please recommend a good library to:
1)Programmatically convert any doc to pdf (word, spreadsheet, presentation, images, html, postscript)
2)Programmatically merge multiple pdf’s to a single pdf (ideally, word_doc1+ ppt_doc2 = out.pdf , in one step)
From .NET/c# app
Thanks

/* here it should return a list o Category type */;

What's the simplest way to do so?
Thank you.
How to convert AS3 ByteArray into wchar_t const* filename?

I'm doing a steganography project where I read in bytes from a ppm file and add the least significant bit to an array. So once 8 bytes are read in, I would have 8 bits in my array, which should equal some character in a hidden message. Is there an easy way to convert an array of 0's and 1's into an ascii value? For example, the array: char bits[] = "0,1,1,1,0,1,0,0" would equal 't'.
How do I convert a DateTime structure to its equivalent RFC 822 date-time formatted string representation and parse this string representation back to a DateTime structure? The RFC-822 date-time format is used in a number of specifications such as the RSS Syndication Format.
I find that I now often work with code bases that have different amounts of indentation. Some use 2 spaces, some use 4 space, some even use tabs! Once in a while, I have to share code between these codebases, or, sometimes I use an incorrect amount of indentation by mistake. Is there a tool or a text editor feature that will convert between different amounts of indentation?
