My internet connection is very interrupting, but it is not sensible for web surfing, as the connection dies for a few seconds and everything is OK. The IP is NOT changing, and just a halt in data transfer.
However, it is very annoying for applications needing contact connection like SSH. Since it seems disconnection, SSH closes.
Is there any way…

Can any one tell me what and why does this error occur?
I choose this option in network profile, turn it off, press save settings, and all seems ok. But when I open this network profile again, it shows that this option is on.
WTH?
Will subversion accept usernames such as firstname.lastname@domain.com?
We are using svn+ssh with public key authentication as per the official svn guide's ssh tips and tricks section.
Basically, we pass svnserve with the --tunnel-user={username} command, will subversion be OK with that username having @ and . in it?
Thanks.

i am paying about 55 USD for a VPS every month that makes it about
660 USD a year. For the current traffic, it's good enought but, my
question is, wouldn't i be better off, if i would buy for example,
a server and plug it to the ISP myself?
For example a Mac mini or a MacPro ?
Where is the downside of such an example?

I have a GeForce GT 640 video card, but by default the screen flickers badly. And if I change the refresh rate to 59 Hz in NVIDIA Control Panel manually, everything is OK. I don't know why.
Now the problem is, if the system restarts, the refresh rate become 60Hz, then the screen flicker is flickering. I need to change the refresh…

I have a large RAR file (split up) containing an ISO on my 2nd HDD
When I extract it:

to the system/OS SSD, I get CRC errors
I've checked memory, run memtests, checked wires etc
I have no other issues; only with this one RAR file
Any ideas please?

Since upgrading to itunes 9 certain songs are ok but other songs skip during play.
I tried downgrading to itunes 8 but to no avail.
I've tried other music players and some have the same problem and some don't so I think the
problem is not with itunes but with the music api.
Any ideas? Thanks.
