    Hi, I'm trying to stub a third party service that my metal talks to. It seems rspec mocks/stubs don't extend all the way to the Metal. When I call stubbed methods on objects, it calls the original one and not the stubbed one. Any idea of how I can have rSpec doubles extend all the way to the metal? Thanks. -Nash

  • Minimum set of Delphi 2010 files to move to a SVN repository for compiling

    We are using Subversion for SCC. We have a great deal of our build environment in our repository so that we can check a given version out and rebuild it fairly close to what was in use at that time. We have the following in there now: InnoSetup binaries Third Party Components VCL (including Indy) Our Source (of course) Finalbuilder project files The only thing missing is the binaries for Delphi itself - I am wondering if there is a minimum set of files that can be copied to the repository and run.   • Last Grid Column Not Auto Resizing With Grid

    I'm having a problem with my TextBoxs not "Auto" resizing. I'm trying to create a form that behaves and looks like the Properties Editor in Visual Studio. What appears to be happening is that the third column is not expanding to fill all of the available remaining space in the grid. Image below is how my form looks on startup. The width of the textboxs is determined by the MinWidth setting on the third ColumnDefinition statement. Also, the Width is set to "*".     How to convert an large image and embed it into postscript? I used to convert the bitmap into HEX codes and render with colorimage. It works for small icons but I hit a /limitcheck error in ghostscript when I try to embed little larger images. It seem there is a memory limit for bitmap in ghostscript. I am looking a solution which can run without 3rd party/pre-processing other then ghostscript itself.

  • Is it a good idea to mock/stub in integration tests?

    Say there are multiple requests in a integration test, some of them are sphinx calls(locator for example). Should we just stub out the entire response of these sphinx call, or, since it is a integration test, we want to excise the entire test without stubbing. If that is the case, how do we still keep test independent in the situation when sphinx fails, no internet connection, or third party server non-responsive. Give reasons. Thanks

    So there's plenty of vs.settings files for nice dark syntax highlighting in VS2008, but I find them basically unusable since they're surrounded by an otherwise white visual studio application and general windows environment. I'd like an adequate dark windows 7 theme I can use while coding in VS. All of the 3rd party Win7 themes (that utilize the patched system files) I've come across have had fairly major problems and were unusable for one reason or another. Does anyone out there have a dark theme + VS combination they're actually happy with?
