  • PCI function number for SATA AHCI controller

    I'm debugging a second stage boot loader for a PC with SATA AHCI controller. I'm able to enumerate the PCI bus and find the hard disk. So far, so good. Now, lspci in my notebook (Dell Inspiron 1525) show me: -[0000:00]-+-1f.0 Intel Corporation 82801HEM (ICH8M) LPC Interface Controller +-1f.1 Intel Corporation 82801HBM/HEM (ICH8M/ICH8M-E) IDE Controller +-1f.2 Intel Corporation 82801HBM/HEM (ICH8M/ICH8M-E) SATA AHCI Controller \-1f.3 Intel Corporation 82801H (ICH8 Family) SMBus Controller My question: Is SATA AHCI Controller always function 2 in any PC? If not, how I found? I don't pretend to be general; booting my notebook will be good enough, without compromise further refinements.

    I'm trying to create a simple calculator in Javascript. I have an array named expression chunk[0] = 12 chunk[1] = + (the "+" sign) chunk[1] = 5 I used a for loop to loop through the chunks (chunk[]) and join then into a single expression as follows:- equation = ""; // To make var equation a string for(i = 0; i <= length; i++) { equation = equation + expression[i]; alert(expression[i]); } alert(equation); alert(expression[i]) showed values 12, + and 5. But alert(equation) showed 125 (instead of "12+5"). I need the variable equation to be "12+5" so that I can later call eval(equation) and get the value of 12+5. What am I doing wrong here?

    I am trying to find a way to display numerical digits as a larger font size than chars on a website (not my idea!). The reason for this is to make the numbers stand out. I have looked for a font that would satisfy this without coding but I could not find any. Also, I don't want to slow down the website by having the font coverted to an image. Does anyone have a solution to this ridiculous problem?

Info: relations: User: { foreignType:one } When displaying information on the user it takes: 1 query to find info on the user, and 1 query to find additional info I want to reduce this to one query that finds both, I assume I need to override a function from BaseUser.class.php, or something along those lines but I'm not really sure what to do.     I was wondering how I could plot more tick marks when plotting time on the x-axis. Basically, a time equivalent to pretty. Pretty obviously doesn't work so well with times, as it uses factors of 1,2,5 and 10. For time one probably wants e.g. hours, half hours, ... plot(as.POSIXct(x,origin="1960-01-01"),y,type="l",xlab="Time") gives really too few and widely spaced tickmarks. zoox<-zoo(y,as.POSIXct(stats$Time,origin="1960-01-01")) plot(zoox) gives the same.     I want to know how many elements of a certain class appear in the DOM before an element that let's say has been clicked on. <html> <div class="a"> </div> <div class="b"> <div class="a"> </div> </div> <button>CLick me!</button> <div class="a"> </div> </html> So in the previous DOM tree if the element to be clicked is the button, and Im looking for divs with class "a" it should return 2, even though in the whole tree there are 3, but "before" the button there are only 2.
