  • CSS alignment differs per page, cant find reason

    I list products on my homepage and on a company details page. I use the exact same HTML, but for some reason the product appears different: The productname is "Artikel 1". Here the product is displayed correctly: http://www.zorgbeurs.nl/ Notice how the green price area is right below the product. But here: http://www.zorgbeurs.nl/bedrijven/76/mymedical the green price area is all the way at the bottom of the page. Why?

  • Basic class returns onject reference instead of Array

    I have very basic class: class Customer { protected $id; protected $customer; public function __construct($customer_id) { $this->id = $customer_id; return $this->set_customer(); } protected function set_customer() { $query = mysql_query("SELECT * FROM customer WHERE id = '$this->id'"); $this->customer = mysql_fetch_row($query); return $this->customer; } } $customer = new Customer($order->customer->id); print_r($customer); This is not doing what I want it to but I understand why... $customer returns a reference to the Customer Object... But what I want is the MySQL row array from the mysql_fetch_row() call... What am I missing?

  • css - 2 child containers not sitting alongside each other

    I have a parent container, that has child containers within it. 2 child containers take up 60% width and 40% width respectively. They have no margin, and they have padding, but use box-sizing so this is included in the width. But for some reason they don't sit side by side. If I change one of them to 39% width then it looks fine. What am I doing wrong? Example can be seen at http://jsfiddle.net/Rcaet/

    In a form, I would like the input:text to fill the remain space after the label to the form is left and right justified. The label have number of characters so I can't set a fixed width on the label.     I need a function to change the appearance of some elements in my html page "on the fly", but I am not able to do. The problem is that I cannot use a command like document.write ('body {background-color: #cccccc;}'); because I need to make the changes effective when the page is already loaded, using a link like <a onmouseclick="Clicker(1)" href="#">clic</a> and I cannot use a command like document.body.style.background='#cccccc'; because I do not know if it can be applied to other not so easy cases, because I need to change the appearance of elements such as td.myclass or sibling elements such as th[scope=col]+th[scope=col]+th[scope=col]. How can I do it? Thanks!

I want to avoid defining the table name for every model I have. Also knowing what the limits of python is will help me avoid wasting time trying impossible things.

    How do i vertically and horizontally center an image when i do not know the size of it? I asked this question and someone suggested using a table. This isnt the first time i heard a table can do it but i tried without luck. Searching SO only got me results when i do know the size of the image. How do i do this with a table? Objective-C: Class vs Instance Methods? ...and all they explain is how instance methods are used on instances of a class and class methods are used with the class name, when a message is sent to a class object. This is helpful, but I'm curious to know why one would use a class method vs. an instance method. I'm fairly new to iOS application development, and usually use class methods, and I feel like I'm doing something wrong. Thanks in advanced!

    Please see attached screenshot The background is a bit off in both IE and chrome (although it was working before? hence the exact numbers??), although in ffox it looked allright..
