  • Call a web service and parse xml response in blackberry

    Hello All... Currently I have a ready design for blackberry application. Now, I need to call the web service in my app, and that web service will give me some xml response. So, I need to parse that response from xml to some POJO. So, for parsing the xml response should I go with the basic DOM praser, or should I use any other J2ME specific prasing concept ? If anybody have any sample tutorial link for the same then it would be very much useful to me. Thanks in advance....

  • Posting a JSON array to webservice in Android

    I am having some problems with what should be a rather simple task. I simply need a JSON array with a single JSON object within it to be posted to my webservice. The entire URL request needs to be formatted like this: http://www.myserver.com/myservice.php?location_data=[{"key1":"val1","key2":"val2"....}] I cannot for the life of me figure out how to append the 'location_data' bit using HttpPost. Here is a code snippet to demonstrate the HTTP connection method I am using: HttpClient hClient = new DefaultHttpClient(); HttpPost hPost = new HttpPost(url); try { hPost.setEntity(new StringEntity(string)); hPost.setHeader("Accept", "application/json"); hPost.setHeader("Content-type", "application/json"); //execute request HttpResponse response = (HttpResponse) hClient.execute(hPost); HttpEntity entity = response.getEntity(); I don't have any syntax errors, and my code is accessing the server fine, just not in the exact format the server needs. Any help on how to format my request to look like how I need it would be greatly appreciated!

  • Android edtftpj/PRo SFTP heap worker problem

    Hi I am using edtftpj-pro3.1 trial copy in my android app to make SFTP connection with the server. After few connections with the server with 5-6 file transfers, my app is crashing with following exception. Is it causing the problem or what could be the problem?? I tried setParallelMode(false) in SSHFTPClient, but it is not working. In the edit text you would type a number and then when you hit the button it will either show the contact information or return with the name of that contact.     Hi I am developing an graphical editor with GMF and want to create a set of nodes (Resources in my project) and connections between them upon intialization of a new diagram. I do not want to use commands here because without the code is much slimmer, easier to read and also faster it seems to me. There is no problem creating nodes by calling my XXXFactory.eInstance.createResource() and adding them to the diagram model. My connection is contained as source-/targetConnections feature in the resource class. So I added a similarly created connection as source/target to the resources. But it will not show up in the diagram even though it exists in the ResourceImpl structural feature. Maybe I need to add it additionally to the diagram but since its contained by a feature contained by the diagram, I dont know how. Am i doing something wrong or missing something or is it just not possible to do this without commands. Any help would be much appreciated. Sample code is below. The output of it is the two nodes but no connection. It worked and the screenshot was saved to the phone. However it fails with cordova 2.0.0.   • Compile OpenSSL from source using Xilinx EDK

    I want to use openSSL functions in my xilinx C++ project. So i downloaded the source and tried to compile using the makefile. But unfortunately the linux box I was provided did not contained the required software (perl5, make, etc) to compile the source using makefile. So as the second option i tried to compile the source as a shared library. So i made a new project using existing openSSL source. But all the attempts were failed since it gave lots of errors including missing headers, unknown defines etc. If someone knows how to compile openssl as a shared library using Xilinx toolchains please help me. It would be really helpful if someone can provide the complete project which can be opened using Xilinx EDK. If better alternative exists to use openssl with xilinx toolchains please explain that also. Thanks in advance....

  • Building the WAR with m2eclipse in combination with WTP (handling webResources)

    I have a situation where I have a web application that is built using maven (i.e., maven-war-plugin). For each code modification, we have had to manually launch maven and restart the application server. Now, to reduce build cycle overhead, I want to use WTP to publish the webapp. Now, we have resource processing with Maven, and there are some additional Maven tasks defined in our POM when building the webapp. Therefore m2eclipse seems like a natural solution. I have gotten far enough that the Maven builder is running these tasks and filtering resources correctly. However, when I choose "Run on Server", the WAR file does not look like it would if I built it in Maven. I am guessing that this is because WTP actually builds the WAR, and not the m2eclipse builder. So even though we have configured the maven-war-plugin in our POM, those settings are not used. Below is a snippet with our maven-war-plugin configuration. I've read on the internet that you need to send a geo fix to the emulator in order to enable the gps locationProvider. So i'd like: contentScriptType="text/ecmascript" width="1024" zoomAndPan="magnify" contentStyleType="text/css" viewBox="0 0 1024 768" height="768" etc etc to be saved into a string array, is there anyway to do this using the split method, or can anybody suggest an easier, more efficient way to do this?
