• Can't reach the new zend controller/view

  Hi, I've installed Zend Studio 7.1.1 that contains 1.9 framework. For the server side, I use easyphp (very similar to wamp) When I create the project, I obviously obtain this architecture: MyProject |-- application | |-- Bootstrap.php | |-- configs | | `-- application.ini | |-- controllers | | |-- ErrorController.php | | `-- IndexController.php | |-- models | `-- views | |-- helpers | `-- scripts | |-- error | | `-- error.phtml | `-- index | `-- index.phtml |-- library |-- public | |-- .htaccess | `-- index.php `-- tests |-- application | `-- bootstrap.php |-- library | `-- bootstrap.php `-- phpunit.xml To launch the project, I enter: http://127.0.0.1/MonProjet/public/index.php But when I create a new controller (TestController.php) and the associated view (application.views/test/index.phtml) and when I enter: http://127.0.0.1/MonProjet/public/test the browser returns the error : object not found (404). although I activated the mod_rewrite LoadModule rewrite_module modules/mod_rewrite.so So, how can I set the routing mechanism to reach the new controllers and their views?   Hello, Actually im doing a home page that only have an action called Index() that returns the view Index.ascx. This index page will be composed by lastest news and lastest registered users, i think that create two partial views is the best idea (this way i could use it in other views). for other hand i have a data access class that calls to database for get stuff (get last news, get last users, etc...) My question is simple, should i call to the this data access class in the Index() action of my HomeController, and add to the ViewData the data obtained? I think that this index() action shouldnt be the responsable of passing this data to the partial views, right? Could you give me a hand? im messing too much? ;-) Thanks in advance. Best Regards. • PHP Dynamic include based on current file path

  Hello, I want to find a method to include some files based on the current file path.. for example: I have "website.com/templates/name1/index.php", this "index.php should be a unique file that I will use in many different directories on different depths, so I want to make the code universal so I don't need to change anything inside this file.. So if this "index.php" is located in "website.com/templates/name1/index.php" than it should include the file located here: "website.com/content/templates/name1/content.php" another example: "website.com/templates/name2/index.php" than it should include the file located here: "website.com/content/templates/name2/content.php" Also I want to overrun "*Warning: include_once() [function.include-once]: http:// wrapper is disabled in the server configuration by allow_url_include=0*" kind of error.. because is disabled and unsafe.. Is there a way to achieve this? Thank you!

• My site not directing links correctly.

  I have a site at http://badassmonkeys.com/ and when i click any of the links it does not direct it to the actual page but still pulls up the link. For some reason it works perfectly on linux cpanel and actually loads the pages, but on windows in apache, or in IIS even with a rewrite mod for it, it just doesnt work. The links dont go correctly. Is it a php.ini setting? This is my htaccess file if curious, but it works perfect in linux, but not on windows.... • SQL Server Query Slow from PHP, but FAST from SQL Mgt Studio - WHY???

  I have a fast running query (sub 1 sec) when I execute the query in SQL Server Mgt Studio, but when I run the exact same query in PHP (on the same db instace) using FreeTDS v8, mssql_query(), it takes much longer (70+ seconds). The tables I'm hitting have an index on a date field that I'm using in the Where clause. Could it be that PHP's mssql functions aren't utilizing the index? I have also tried putting the query inside a stored procedure, then executing the SP from PHP - the same results in time difference occurs. I have also tried adding a WITH ( INDEX( .. ) ) clause on the table where that has the date index, but no luck either.   assume I have a string "1,2,3,4" Now I want to replace, e.g. the 3rd field of the string by some different value. "1,2,NEW,4" I managed to do this with the following command: echo "1,2,3,4" | awk -F, -v OFS=, '{$3="NEW"; print }' Now the index for the column to be replaced should be passed as a variable. So in this case index=3 How can I pass this to awk? • Apache rewrite_mod: RewriteRule path and query string

  I currently have a website with a standard web interface on index.php, and I made an iPhone-friendly version in iphone.php. Both pages handle the same arguments. It works fine when I manually go to .../iphone.php, but I'd like to rewrite anything on .../path/ and .../path/index.php to iphone.php if %{HTTP_USER_AGENT} contains mobile, and optionally add the query string (not sure if/when I'd need to add it). So far, this is what I have in my .../path/.htaccess: RewriteEngine On RewriteCond %{HTTP_USER_AGENT} ^.+mobile.+$ [NC] RewriteRule index.php?(.*) iphone.php?$1 [L] RewriteRule index.php iphone.php [L] The problems are, it matches index.php in any subfolder, and it won't match .../path/?args… Special thanks to anyone who can correct/simplify/optimize anything =)

• Using "CASE" in Where clause to choose various column harm the performance

  I have query which needs to be dynamic on some of the columns, meaning I get a parameter and according its value I decide which column to fetch in my Where clause. I've implemented this request using "CASE" expression: (CASE @isArrivalTime WHEN 1 THEN ArrivalTime ELSE PickedupTime END) >= DATEADD(mi, -@TZOffsetInMins, @sTime) AND (CASE @isArrivalTime WHEN 1 THEN ArrivalTime ELSE PickedupTime END) < DATEADD(mi, -@TZOffsetInMins, @fTime) If @isArrivalTime = 1 then chose ArrivalTime column else chose PickedupTime column. I have a clustered index on ArrivalTime and nonclustered index on PickedupTime. I've noticed that when I'm using this query (with @isArrivalTime = 1), my performance is a lot worse comparing to only using ArrivalTime. Maybe the query optimizer can't use\choose the index properly in this way? I compared the execution plans an noticed that when I'm using the CASE 32% of the time is being wasted on the index scan, but when I didn't use the CASE(just usedArrivalTime`) only 3% were wasted on this index scan. Anyone know the reason for this?

• Is it bad practice to change state inside of an if statement?

However, my coworkers disliked this very much. Is this a harmful practice? Is there any reason to do it?

I absolutely cannot get my index.jsp to show this bean, I've tried using a usebean, I've tried storing it on the session, and now I'm directly placing it in the model. Nothing works. Spring 3 has been like every other spring release, intensely frustrating.

  Lets assume the following code within a controller: $this->view->addScriptPath('dir1/views/scripts'); $this->view->addScriptPath('dir2/views/scripts'); $this->render('index.phtml'); Where dir1/views/scripts contains 2 files: -index.phtml -table.phtml And dir2/views/scripts: -table.phtml Now, it will render the index.phtml in dir1 since dir 2 doesn't have an index.phtml. Index.phtml looks something like: <somehtml> <?= $this->render('table.phtml') ?> </somehtml> This is where the confusion starts for me. I would expect it to render the table.phtml in the last directory added to the script path stack, but it doesn't. Is there a simple solution/explanation to my problem?

I have 2 actions in my controller, index and refine_data. index fetches and displays all the data from a database table. refine_data weeds out unwanted data using regex and returns a subset of the data. Controller looks like: def index Result.paginate :per_page => 5, :page => params[:page], :order => 'created_at DESC' end def refine_data results = Result.all new_results = get_subset(results) redirect_to :action => 'index' end I would like to redirect the refine_data action to the same view (index) with new_results. As new_results are not from the database table (or model), how do I go about constructing my paginate?

  Hi, I am facing problem in creating an mvc application as sub-application of the asp.net application. My Mvc application is doing fine in development environment and even when it is deployed normally. However whenever I tried to deploy it as a sub-application of an asp.net application like http://mainapplication/mvcsubapplication I got an error The view 'Index' or its master could not be found. The following locations were searched: ~/Views/Home/Index.aspx ~/Views/Home/Index.ascx ~/Views/Shared/Index.aspx ~/Views/Shared/Index.ascx There is no problem in view naming since application is well tested in development environment. It only happens when I tried to deploy it as sub-app. remember I am deploying on a server with IIS 7.x installed on it. Any response will be appreciated. Thanx

  I want to be able to parse file paths like this one: /var/www/index.(htm|html|php|shtml) into an ordered array: array("htm", "html", "php", "shtml") and then produce a list of alternatives: /var/www/index.htm /var/www/index.html /var/www/index.php /var/www/index.shtml Right now, I have a preg_match statement that can split two alternatives: preg_match_all ("/\(([^)]*)\|([^)]*)\)/", $path_resource, $matches); Could somebody give me a pointer how to extend this to accept an unlimited number of alternatives (at least two)? Just regarding the regular expression, the rest I can deal with. The rule is: The list needs to start with a ( and close with a ) There must be one | in the list (i.e. at least two alternatives) Any other occurrence(s) of ( or ) are to remain untouched.

  I am trying to match the sub domain of an url using http://([a-z0-9]*.)?example.com/.* which works perfectly for these cases. http://example.com/index.html http://test.example.com/index.html http://test1.example.com/index.html http://www.example.com/122/index.html But the problem is it matches for this URL too. http://www.test.com/?q=http://example.com/index.html if an URL with another domain has the URL in path it matches.Can any one tell me how to match for current domain only. getting the host will work but i need to match full URL.

  So in Java, whenever an indexed range is given, the upper bound is almost always exclusive. From java.lang.String: substring(int beginIndex, int endIndex) Returns a new string that is a substring of this string. The substring begins at the specified beginIndex and extends to the character at index endIndex - 1 From java.util.Arrays: copyOfRange(T[] original, int from, int to) from - the initial index of the range to be copied, inclusive to - the final index of the range to be copied, exclusive.   In one of the page I have is where administrators are allowed, however, I use if the session isn't set, the header will redirect them to index.php and that method works. This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept cookies. What's wrong with it? How do I get this method to work?

• ASP.NET/IIS: Tell IIS do not check for file existence

  In my Global.asax.cs, I have: routes.MapRoute("AssetCss", "css/{*path}", new { controller = "Asset", action = "Index" }); I also have this in a view: <link href="/css/Root/index.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" /> The problem is that the AssetController does not invoke Index when /css/Root/index.css is requested. This is because a file actually exists at the path /css/Root/index.css. If I recall correctly, there's a checkbox setting in IIS that basically says "Do not check that a file actually exists at the request path [instead, let the RouteTable handle it]." (At least there is in IIS 6.) Is there something I can put in my Web.config that sets this IIS setting to true? How do I tell IIS to let my MVC routes handle the path even if a file exists at the path?
