  • Adding a Main Menu to a Game in Xcode

    I am about done with an Objective - C Sprite Kit Development course on Lynda, and I wanted to expand on the app the course had me make! It was made so that once I open the app, it started brick breaker, and then there are more classes for additional scenes like Game Over and Restart!   • jquery, position 'close icon' div in the top right of a large image

    My webpage has a large image (a map). I want to position, at the top right of the image, a small icon that is for closing the map. How can I figure out the position and place the image appropriately? The image has a fixed width of 900 x 600. I have jquery on the page if that helps. I tried using $("#map").position and I have the top and left, but not sure how to position to the top right.

    I am new to WPF and MVVM. In my ViewModel I have collection of items, for example: class Item { string Title {get; set;} string Description {get; set;} } I would like to create a view, so at the beginning I would have: Title1 Title2 Title3 If user click on one of title it will expand to show description, eg: Title1 Description1 Title2 Title3 If user click on other title, there will be two expanded items: Title1 Description1 Title2 Description2 Title3 This is probably very similar to Expander control and maybe I could use it, but I am doing it other way, to learn something new. What control should I use for this purpose? Should that be ItemsControl or maybe ListBox? I imagine, that if I use ItemsControl, I should probably extend my Item class to have something like bool IsExpanded and bind UI item visibility to that value. But maybe I could use ListBox and somehow bind UI item visibility to... Yeah, to what? :) How could I do such a simple thing?

    Hi all, I have written a datagridview with a couple of columns to store data of a product, now i want to be able to right click any row and have a context menu appear with the options delete and copy. Copy should have the same functionality as if I press Ctrl+C. Any help would be appreciated. Im using C# and WinForms. I have never done context menus before, so I would be thank full for any hint or link to further readings. Cheers

    In my app, I'd like a method called whenever the user taps the screen (anywhere on the screen). Normally, I'd make a transparent UIButton that covers the whole screen. If I'm using the cocos2d framework, what's the best way to do this? Is it good practice to still use UIButtons? I've been reading about MenuItems but haven't found an easy way to make one giant fully transparent menu item? Thanks.

    Ok i have this code currently. $(document).ready(function(){ $('.animation').mouseover(function(){ $(this).animate({ borderTopColor: "#000" }, 'fast'); }); }); but what im trying to achieve is to animate the bottom border color that will fade in and out from left to right. for example whenever a user is hover into this .animation, the bottom border color of that element should fade in or out, from left to right, like from this color #fff to #000. hope someone here could figured out how to make this. thank you.     Right I've been messing around with JSON for some time, just pushing it out as text and it hasn't hurt anybody (I know of), but I'd like to start doing things properly. I have seen so many purported "standards" for the JSON content type: application/json application/x-javascript text/javascript text/x-javascript text/x-json But which is right? Or best? I gather that there are security and browser support issues varying between them... (I know there's a similar question, What MIME type if JSON is being returned by a REST API?, but I'd like a slightly more targeted answer.)
