• Use tab bar inconjuction with navigation bar?

  Hello, I'm brand new to Objective C programing for the Iphone. I was wondering if it is possible to use a tab bar, and in one of the tabs have a navigation bar so that I could drill down? I tried to look for tutorials and found this one http://www.devx.com/wireless/Article/45161/1954, I got it to work as written but I couldn't figure out to display the data I wanted. Does anyone know how? or does anyone know a tutorial for complete beginners?

• Problem with UITabBar + NavController in secondView viewDidLoad isn't called

  My Application is a Tabbar with a navController in each of it's tabs. Now, the problem is to add a custom info button to the navController in the SecondView. I've created the App in InterfaceBuilder and entered the name of the nib to Load there.   What is the easiest way to detect a character in a text field? I want to be able to detect a certain character and replace that character with another specific character. So If I write in a text field... "zyxw" I want it to be replaced with "abcd". I'm a newbie and don't really know where to start with this or how to go about it. • sort arrow is always showing up once sorting is used

  we have several pages as tabs where datatable is used in most of the pages.when we sort on a particular coulmn and exit the page and re enter this page the arrow appears(up /down based on how we left) Although the data is not sorted in the direction the arrow shows.i have set preserveSort and preserveDataMode to false. The arrow is set to true in the column's t:commandSortHeader tag in all the pages. is this a bug or am i missing any setting?I have tried to set forceId to false in t:commandSortHeader but of now use.

  I want to run multiple Google Chrome application windows logged into the same web site (Twitter.com, say), each with different credentials. Is this possible? If so, how? My initial testing shows that multiple Chrome app windows are not sufficiently isolated to do this. Logging into the second account logs me into the second account in both windows, suggesting that they are sharing information just as two Chrome tabs might.
