  I periodically get this problem where all of a sudden mako is using old versions of templates, and it's not until I manually go and update the template files that they'll use the current version. I'm using ./manage.py runserver I think it's usually after I update using source control, but it's intermittent, and I can't reliably reproduce the problem.

  I'm trying to get a very simple Flash video working using SWFembed, and it does work across multiple computers at this point in multiple browsers, but as soon as I pushed it live I got this: http://cl.ly/1EDS I've adjusted file permissions, but it is exactly the same code and files as in another directory on the server. Is there a possibility that I can use a virtualenv with a different version of Python? I compiled Python 2.6.2 and would like to use it with some virtualenv.   I am just putting the finishing touches to an iPhone app that I have written, signed up to the developer program and installed Xcode 3.2.2 (1650) My question is which version of the SDK should I be using to build my application? I was thinking I should be using the latest 3.2 but when I select that I can only access the iPad simulator ... Should I be using 3.1.3 which runs the iPhone simulator.   When I compile something on my Ubuntu Lucid 10.04 PC it gets linked against glibc. Lucid uses 2.11 of glibc. When I run this binary on another PC with an older glibc, the command fails saying there's no glibc 2.11... As far as I know glibc uses symbol versioning. Can I force gcc to link against a specific symbol version? In my concret use I try to compile a gcc cross toolchain for ARM.

  NSIS has a Name variable that you define in the script: Name "MyApp" It defines the name of the installer, that gets displayed as the window title, etc. Is there a way to pull the .NET Version number out of my main EXE and append it to the Name? So that my installer name would automatically be 'MyApp V2.2.0.0" or whatever?
