  • Weird black spots on custom Google Map with IE

    Hello. I'm getting some weird black spots with a custom map page (via the Google Maps API v2.x) I have created. (Click SERVICIOS and then the icon farthest south to generate image shown below.) The issue seems to only appear when using Internet Explorer. I'm wondering if this is a common problem and if there is a common fix? Any ideas? Thanks.

    I have a group of geometries stored in MySQl (as polygon and as well-known text) representing counties. I can build a table of geometries and color codes after querying some county data (say GDP per capita). What is the best way to export this as an SVG map? I cannot find any reference to SVG conversion in the MySQL documentation.

    In Clojure, a map entry created within a macro is preserved... (class (eval `(new clojure.lang.MapEntry :a 7))) ;=> clojure.lang.MapEntry ...but when piped thru from the outside context collapses to a vector... (class (eval `~(new clojure.lang.MapEntry :a 7))) ;=> clojure.lang.PersistentVector This behavior is defined inside LispReader.syntaxQuote(Object form) condition if(form instanceof IPersistentCollection). Does anyone know if this is intended behavior or something that will be fixed?

    I have event data displaying on a map and I am currently using the geo microformat alongside it however it's not particularly rich to have just a list of locations without any details of what they correspond to. I've been looking at combining microformats to achieve this and looking for some thoughts on the subject here is the data i am marking up: event title, event location [latlong], event address, contact phone, link to full details My initial thoughts are to use an hCard along with geo?   • How to partition bits in a bit array with less than linear time

    This is an interview question I faced recently. Given an array of 1 and 0, find a way to partition the bits in place so that 0's are grouped together, and 1's are grouped together. It does not matter whether 1's are ahead of 0's or 0's are ahead of 1's. An example input is 101010101, and output is either 111110000 or 000011111. Solve the problem in less than linear time. Make the problem simpler. The input is an integer array, with each element either 1 or 0. Output is the same integer array with integers partitioned well. To me, this is an easy question if it can be solved in O(N). My approach is to use two pointers, starting from both ends of the array. Increases and decreases each pointer; if it does not point to the correct integer, swap the two. int * start = array; int * end = array + length - 1; while (start < end) { // Assume 0 always at the end if (*end == 0) { --end; continue; } // Assume 1 always at the beginning if (*start == 1) { ++start; continue; } swap(*start, *end); } However, the interview insists there is a sub-linear solution. This makes me thinking hard but still not get an answer. Can anyone help on this interview question?

    Hello: Why is the following code causing a memory leak in an iPhone App? All of the initted objects below leak, including the arrays, the strings and the numbers. So, I'm thinking it has something to do with the the synthesized array property not releasing the object when I set the property again on the second and subsequent time this piece of code is called.   • PHP Notice: Undefined index when looping array...

    Hi, I'm looping a two-dimensional array like this: if (!empty($aka)) { foreach ($aka as $ak) { if($ak["lang"]=="es") { $sptitle=$ak["title"]; } } } Pretty simple. If the array ($aka) is not empty I loop trough it and when it finds that the "lang" index is equal to "es" I just save the "title" value for that index in $sptitle. The problem is that the array ($aka) contains a lot of information and sometimes there is no "lang" index... and I get this error: Notice: Undefined index: lang. How can I fix this??? This is a extract of the array to help you understand.   • Do not fire 'zoom_changed' event when calling fitBounds function on map

    Is there a way to prevent the zoom_change event from being triggered if it occurs due to fitBounds() ? I am having an issue where I need to do a search on the server from client when there is a zoom change to map but every time I call fitBounds() it causes zoom_change to trigger which causes the client to do another search on the server. I am only interested in zoom_change done by users and not programmatically using fitBounds.

The route is displayed properly, although while debugging, I added a breakpoint on draw(), and noticed it is being called constantly. I only want it to be re-drawn if someone moves the map or zooms (the draw take into account these changes when drawing the route) What can cause this ?

I'd like to end up with something that looks like this... Array ( [0] => "36,95,3" [1] => "36,95,5" [2] => "36,21,3" [3] => "36,21,5" etc... ) The order the results are combined in is not important. That is to say, there is no difference between "3,95,36", "36,95,3", and "95,36,3". I would like to omit these redundant combinations.
