(I do not mean the Info.plist of the app - here must be a central file for such settings like keychain-2.db for passes and stuff) I got some very confusing behavior of an app that was compiled installed with different settings in the Info.plist for the file type (UTI) association and I would like to check if there is some trash (old settings) left from previous versions.   Hello, I am trying to intercept calls to document.write for all pages. Setting up the interception inside the page by injecting a script like function overrideDocWrite() { alert("Override called"); document.write = function(w) { return function(s) { alert("special dom"); w.call(this, wrapString(s)); }; }(document.write); alert("Override finished"); } is easy and works, but i would like my extension to setup the interception for each document object from inside the extension. I couldn't find a way to do this. I tried to listen for the "load" event and set up the interception there but it also fails. How do I hook calls to doc.write from an extension?

  Hi, A lot of interesting code/projects are implementations of protocols, eg SNMP. How are projects like these, which depend on implementing a certain format, developed? Is the process something like get the guidelines of the protocol and then implement code which follows it. For example, XML-RPC is about transmitting XML docs between client/server, so the documentation on this protocol must outline the structure of the XML documents and then the way the transportation between client and server works, so the coder will implement this sort of functionality (xml doc construction, networking between the client and server). Projects I am thinking of (not to develop) are C# libraries which can interpret .PSDs, make VHDs, etc. So if I was to develop a C# app to implement .AI files (Illustrator files), what would be the steps I would look at (such as contacting Adobe, etc)? Is this the way such projects are developed?

After unzipping, this is the structure of the files: executable_file config.mk doc include lib Makefile sources I have only worked with "usual" Makefile projects. But I do not undersatnd the meaning of config.mk here. Do you know which kind of "build" structure (what is the right name for this concept?) is it, and where can i find more information about this?   All I need is a good CSV file parser for C++. At this point it can really just be a comma-delimited parser (ie don't worry about escaping new lines and commas). The main need is a line-by-line parser that will return a vector for the next line each time the method is called. I found this article which looks quite promising: http://www.boost.org/doc/libs/1_35_0/libs/spirit/example/fundamental/list_parser.cpp I've never used Boost's Spirit, but am willing to try it. Is it overkill/bloated or is it fast and efficient? Does anyone have faster algorithms using STL or anything else? Thanks!

  ASP.net app inserts .docx fileinto a row on DB2 OS/390 Blob table. A different VB.net app gets the DB2 OS/390 Blob data. When Microsoft Word tries to open the .docx file Microsoft Word pops up a message that the data is corrupted. Word will fix the data so the file can be viewed. I've seen some examples where .docx can be converted to .doc but they only talk about stripping out the text. Some of our .docx have pictures in them. Any ideas?

  Hi, What do you think would be the best way to produce custom size image thumbnail from MS Office documents (doc, xls and ppt) on Windows with native code (means all means besides .NET/JAVA)? My current research result: IExtractImage COM. Problem: The size of the generated result is fixed and low quality, and you can't be sure all the source documents contain the thumbnails. Use a programmable virtual printer to print the specified page, and the printer must support image output, any good suggestion for this? What else would you suggest? thanks!

So i was thinking, is there a was i can block all other referrers to the domain that stores the files (it's an IP) apart from the main website (a domain). Thanks!

But in my app i see the effect of appBlueTheme as GWT doc say "inherited modules will be cascaded in the order they are listed" I want theme to be changed based on user response. • Cannot move ckeditor 4 selection to beginning

  I've been exploring numerous solutions in stackoverflow and elsewhere to try to get ckeditor 4 to scroll to the top after I've programmatically added a number of pages to it, using CKEditor's InsertHtml function. After adding my html, which looks fine, I want to position the cursor at the beginning. Here's one of a variety of things I've tried without success: function MoveCaretToStart(myEditor) { var range = new CKEDITOR.dom.range( editor.document ); range.selectNodeContents(editor.document.getBody()); range.moveToElementEditStart(range.root); // also tried range.collapse(true); range.select(); } ... MoveCaretToStart(CKEDITOR.instances['myEditor']); // which already has contents in it This doesn't throw any errors, but also doesn't move the cursor position (it remains at the end of the doc). I thought this one would be easy, but it sure hasn't been. Any help appreciated.

However it is natural to think that icons to the files of the registered type (such as pdf, txt, doc, etc.), should be taken from the OS after installation. PS: Of course, I can get the pdf and txt icons from somewhere, add them to the VS project and set to the shortcuts, but I believe that there should be a better solution.

  How to I get my security policy working? My parent swf parses an XML doc and loads 2 children. It throws a 2148 security error, and only works in the Flash IDE. I Also published my parent swf as 'network only' and put all the crossdomain.xml and everything else in the same folder. • Help! Obj-C/Iphone programming: extracting string from html text and reading off line by line

  hihi, I have this html text response from a particular website: <tr><td valign="top"><img src="/icons/image2.gif" alt="[IMG]"></td><td><a href="crsdsdfs2221.jpg">crash-2221.jpg</a></td><td align="right">14-Jun-2010 14:29 Notice for every line, there is this href=".__", which is an image file with random name and random format. I would like to extract that string within the inverted commas out so that i can append it into a URL path and download the image. I've been looking through this documentation from apple: http://developer.apple.com/mac/library/documentation/cocoa/conceptual/strings/Articles/SearchingStrings.html#//apple_ref/doc/uid/20000149-CJBBGBAI on String programming but couldn't find one that fits my bill. Also after reading it, what code can I use to ensure that I will be reading the next line the next time my function is called( because I want to download the next picture). Hope some kind soul can help me out, thanks!

• iTune redeem codes: limited to a single version?

  Hi, I'm wondering if V1.0 generated redeem codes will be usable on a V1.1 version of my app? BTW, I know redeem codes are valid only 4 weeks and I also know that apps downloaded with a redeem code can be upgraded for free as with paid ones. My concern here is just: do unused redeem codes become invalid when a new version of my app will be available on the store? Apple's doc is not clear about this point. For examples <somexmldoc> <someNode> <UserDefinedNode> </> <UserDefinedNode> </> </someNode> </somexmldoc> For this XML doc, I have an wholeDoc.XSD which could be used to validate the whole document except "UserDefinedNode" (This node is specified with "any" tag in xsd, which allows a user to define anything under that node). Is it possible to have a separate userdefined.XSD file to validate "UserDefinedNode"? Is it possible to use MSXML for C++ (IXMLDomDocument) to validate this? Thanks!
