    Hello, I want to create a bootable Windows 7 vhd using the steps mentioned at: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=80ede31d-3509-407b-a896-0beea8705589&displaylang=en However, I wanted to know if I will be able to access the vhd using Virtualbox too. I intend to install VS2008 in the VM and use it in Virtualbox when doing quick work and on native hardware when doing a lot of work. I don't want to mess up my actual Win7 installation with VS2008 dev work.

    Hello I had my windows 7 dvd with me, and I had earlier copied all the files from it and dumped them into a folder on my computer's hard disk. Now I want to burn a bootable dvd from this dump, how can I do that? Can somebody help in creating a bootable dvd to troubleshoot a problem on my windows 7 system. I went on a vacation earlier and lost my original windows 7 os dvd, now I only have the dump.

    Hello, I have VBA code in Excell that send mails, but every time it wait few second for me to accept the sending. Some time before I changed two (2) keys in registry and it sends without asking me for accepting, but I migrated computer and forgot where the keys are. Over internet there is very much bed solutions like to install some plugins and so on, and there isn't this simple solution in any place... Some one remember this two keys? Thank you for ahead.

    Hello I am working on a system that needs a user-dependent variable, the user in on Windows XP and is connected to Windows Server 2003. I cannot save this variable in the registry of the local machine under HKCU, because the users are likely to exchange their machines. This variable must be accessible on the whole domain. Do you have any idea of implementing this ? Are there WMI features that may help me ?

    Hello emacs gurus, I'm out of ideas here - my emacs crashes when popup dialog is opened. The x-popup-dialog function is probably to blame but I found no workaround to this. My Emacs version is 23.1.1 . Unfortunately some functionality of emacs calls this (e.x. customize asks whether it should save the changes) which causes the crash. Does anybody know how to fix it or disable it?

    Hello, CentOS 5.3 After booting up. I am wondering what is the name of the log file that contains if all services where successfully loaded or not? For example when computer boots you get a list of start services and they can be OK or FAILED. Is there a log file where this information is kept?     Hello, Im looking for the best way to accomplish a full backup of our "vmail" accounts on our mail server (CentOS "iRedMail" 5.1). I also need to split on 4GB parts the resulting tar or bzip compressed backup, and get this DVD-RW burned, on same server. The idea is to get this procedure to running overnight, once a week. Our mail server holds about 45GB of information. I will appreciate any advise or help on this topic. Thanks.

    Hello I have a small batch file which xcopies some files from one folder to another which I've scheduled (via windows scheduled tasks) to run every 1 hour: @echo off xcopy c:\foo c:\bar /E /C /F /Y Since this is my workstation, I'm most probably doing work when the task executes, and then the black dos console window is displayed (lasts 2-3 seconds) and steals window focus. I don't wish to see the files copied and of course the batch file does not ask for any user input. Is there a way to avoid displaying the console completely? thanks
