    Needed Finfo but deleted msi package, so uninstalled php 5.3.0, downloaded 5.3.2 and installed. Now all my sites have max execution time error's when they hit my custom error handlers. No problems until I updated - has anyone ran into this before?

    I have an AppEngine application that uses the blobstore to store user-provided image data. When I upload images to that application from a form in Chrome it works fine. When I try to upload an image from an Android application it fails. Both methods work fine if I am running against the development server, but the Android upload doesn't work against the live service.     I'm having trouble figuring out how to do a "join" in Groovy/Grails and the return values I get person = User.get(user.id) def latestPhotosForUser = PhotoOwner.findAll("FROM PhotoOwner AS a, PhotoStorage AS b WHERE (a.owner=:person AND a.photo = b)", [person:person], [max:3]) latestPhotosForUser isn't a list of PhotoOwners. It's a list of [PhotoOwner, PhotoStorage] pairs. Since I'm doing a PhotoOwner.findAll, I would have expected to see only PhotoOwners. Am I doing something wrong, or is this the proper behavior?

    Hi, I'm using fgets with stdin to read in some data, with the max length i read in being 25. With one of the tests I'm running on this code, there are a few hundred spaces after the data that I want - which causes the program to fail. Can someone advise me as to how to ignore all of these extra spaces when using fgets and go to the next line? Thanks

    Consider the bellow code. This code is supposed to be processing data at a fixed rate, in one second batches, It is part of an overal system and can't take up too much time. When running over 100 lots of 1 seconds worth of data the program takes 35 seconds (or 35%), executing this function in a loop. The test loop is timed specifically with Ada.RealTime. The data is pregenerated so the majority of the execution time is definatetly in this loop. How do I improce the code to get the processing time down to a minimum? We have a handful of stored procedures with names greater than 31 characters (which appears to be the max in FB 2.1.3) Is there a way to increase this limitation? I want to sort these points first by Y value, then by X value, and put them in a multidimensional array (MapNode[,]). Is this hideously unreadable?
