For a funding, I would like to select the latest Letter created date and the ‘earliest worklist created since letter created’ date for a funding. FundingId Leter (1, 1/1/2009 )(1, 5/5/2009) (1, 8/8/2009) (2, 3/3/2009) FundingId WorkList (1, 5/5/2009 ) (1, 9/9/2009) (1, 10/10/2009) (2, 2/2/2009) Expected Result - FundingId Leter WorkList (1, 8/8/2009, 9/9/2009) I wrote a query as follows. It has a bug. It will omit those FundingId for which the minimum WorkList date is less than latest Letter date (even though it has another worklist with greater than letter created date).     Hi there, I have recently started working on my master thesis in C that I haven't used in quite a long time. Being used to Java, I'm now facing all kinds of problems all the time. I hope someone can help me with the following one, since I've been struggling with it for the past two days. So I have a really basic model of a database: tables, tuples, attributes and I'm trying to load some data into this structure. Following are the definitions: typedef struct attribute { int type; char * name; void * value; } attribute; typedef struct tuple { int tuple_id; int attribute_count; attribute * attributes; } tuple; typedef struct table { char * name; int row_count; tuple * tuples; } table; Data is coming from a file with inserts (generated for the Wisconsin benchmark), which I'm parsing. I have only integer or string values. A sample row would look like: insert into table values (9205, 541, 1, 1, 5, 5, 5, 5, 0, 1, 9205, 10, 11, 'HHHHHHH', 'HHHHHHH', 'HHHHHHH'); I've "managed" to load and parse the data and also to assign it. However, the assignment bit is buggy, since all values point to the same memory location, i.e. all rows look identical after I've loaded the data. Same for the following code (since I'm not quite sure which one would be the correct usage): memcpy(current_tuple->attributes[k].value, &v, 1); Not even sure if memcpy is what I need here... Also I've tried allocating memory, by doing something like: current_tuple->attributes[k].value = (int *) malloc(sizeof(int)); only to get "malloc: * error for object 0x100108e98: incorrect checksum for freed object - object was probably modified after being freed." As far as I understand this error, memory has already been allocated for this object, but I don't see where this happened. Doesn't the malloc(sizeof(attribute)) only allocate the memory needed to store an integer and two pointers (i.e. not the memory those pointers point to)? Any help would be greatly appreciated!     I have a slight problem with .htaccess redirect. I have a dynamic site with 2 levels of variables - content="type -(alpha)" and ID="number" but this is very not seo friendly what I really would like to create is a rewrite rule that generates a "friendly" url for serach engines & users alike. Very much like WordPress does. Each ID is already unique (obviously) and on creation is creating a unique "permalink" field so for example ID=1 has a "permalink field" as "2009/10/27/page title" and ID=100 would be "2010/10/27 page title". I would like folder/wall.php?content=type&ID=number to redirect to folder/permalink.php/html/htm (don't mind a non dynamic extension) Any clues? - this is not right (I know) but it also "breaks" my css file RewriteEngine On RewriteRule wall/content/(.*)/ID/(.*)/ wall.php?content=$1&ID=$2 RewriteRule wall/content/(.*)/ID/(.*) wall.php?content=$1&ID=$2

There are by nature multiple UserSessionIDs rows in tblUserSessionSequence. I ONLY want to return the latest (top 1) row with unique UserSessionID. How do I do that?

  • Question About Eclipse Java Debugger Conditional Breakpoints Inefficiency

    I just set a conditional breakpoint in Eclipse's debugger with a mildly inefficient condition by breakpoint standards - checking whether a HashMap's value list (8 elements) contains Double.NaN. This resulted in an extremely noticeable slowdown in performance - after about five minutes, I gave up. Then I copy pasted the condition into an if statement at the exact same line, put a noop in the if, and set a normal breakpoint there. That breakpoint was reached in the expected 20-30 seconds. Is there something special that conditional breakpoints do that is different from this, or is Eclipse's implementation just kinda stupid? It seems like they could fairly easily just do exactly the same thing behind the scenes.

    Hello. I am designing a 960px wide layout with an unordered list. Each list item is 240px wide, so 4 list items fit horizontally in a row. I have about 20 rows on the page.... I want every other list item to have a background of #ececec, so my css would be: ul li:nth-child(2n+2){ background-color:#ececec; } This works. The only problem is because there are 4 items in a row (an even #), the next row would be identical, thus rendering background colors on every 1st and 3rd list items in a row. This is not the effect I am looking to achieve. I want the background colors to alternate, creating a grid-like effect. What is the correct css to do so (think a checker board). Thanks!

    i have a datasheet that looks like this: ID name_ 1 2 3 4 1 name1 x 0 0 0 2 name2 0 x 0 0 3 name3 0 0 x 0 4 name4 0 0 0 x i have rectangles on a report that correspond to this datasheet. when the report opens, i need the rectangles to be colored RED according to the data. for example where name1 and there is an x in the 1 column, i need the specific rectangle corresponding to this (name1, 1) to be colored red. here is the result that i will need: x x x x (where x is a rectangle that is RED) perhaps the best place to place this code would be in ON LOAD event of the report, but i am not sure exactly. can you please suggest to me some code that would turn the specified rectangles RED according to the data?

    I ran the following command at linux bash: apt-cache search hex.*(view|edit) My intention was to find any software packages whose name/description contains the pattern 'hex.*(view|edit)'. But among the results I got this: kipi-plugins - image manipulation/handling plugins for KIPI aware programs How could this be in the results list? I didn't see any matching string in this result. Is this a bug of the apt-cache search command? Or do I mis-understand how the regex is used by this command? Many thanks.

    hey guys, i have a probably rather simpel problem: my website has two layers: 1) a drag&drop navigation on top which should be positioned absolute, so scrolling doesn't affect the bars. 2) a content area in the back behind the navigation which should be scrollable. you can see what i mean right here: http://jsfiddle.net/Pghqv/ however now, i cannot click links in my content-area in the back. any ideas or solutions how i can still have the same position result and the links in the back are working? thank you very much.

  • Unable to import example projects from book (newbie question)

    I am trying to import projects from a book "Beginning Android 2" but when I choose the root directory the "Finish" button is still grayed out. I've tried importing the project from scratch with no success, and I've also tried to create a template project with the same name and everything and then importing into that (Import existing projects into workspace) but it always says "No projects are found to import". The contents of the folder are: Res folder, src folder with .java file, the manifest, build, and default.properties files. I am new to android dev (obviously) so I appreciate the help.
