  • how i can send date from site to other sites

    Hi, Im not much of a php coder, mainly use VB. But i had a problem with one of my apps. To make it more secure i would need each php parameter to go through one site. Here is an example of what i mean: Application loads sends ip and location to 2 servers (a.php & b.php) the problem so far is that the pc is making direct connections to these pages. What i was trying to do is make it so that it only sends one command to z.php and the page z.php would send the data to a.php and b.php. My question is how would i set up z.php? I hope i make sense, i have looked everywhere and couldnt find an answer.

  • Retrieve E-mail from server (pop3) by date for filtering on subject or body in C#

    I have a piece of monitoring software I am writing which needs to retrieve e-mails sent to an address for a certain day so that I can filter them by a regex in the subject or body. I don't need to retrieve the entire message, only the subject and body for all messages on a given day so that I can evaluate them with a regular expression for a token. I looked at EAGetMail as a solution, but their implementation doesn't do what I need to to do. I can only get all information on mail, which only has the size and index. I would need it by subject, but even then I don't want to get everything in inbox. If I went with this solution I have to get all mail, and then retrieve each mail message individually to evaluate the subject and body. This is not ideal. I also looked at OpenPop.Net, but it too does not have a targeted retrieval for today's messages only. Can I even do what I want without looping through every single email on the server until I find a match? What is the best way to accomplish what I am trying to do? Am I going to have to build a custom web request to get the data I want? Also, I looked at Chilkat, but I am looking for a free solution, even if it means building the http request myself.

However, it's getting the database to find data that's the issue. So I just removed the "having" statement and it went "better": Msg 8120, Level 16, State 1, Line 2 Column 'CWLDATEN_91.dbo.v021.c003' is invalid in the select list because it is not contained in either an aggregate function or the GROUP BY clause. So I tried to remove the error just by adding things to the "group by". And it worked. Select c015 as ID, c003 as Artikelbezeichnung1, c074 as Bez2, max(mesoyear) from CWLDATEN_91.dbo.v021 group by c015,c003,c074 gives me exactly what I want. But the correct Select contains about 24 columns and some calculations as well. The problem can't be solved just by adding all the columns to the "group by"...? Can someone please help me to find a proper command? Thank you!

  • Why are the packages found with apt-get always horribly out of date?

    Whenever I use the package manager, it can only ever find really old versions of stuff. Example: sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get install postgresql The best it can do is version 8.4 (3 years out of date). Trying to get a later version, I get: $ sudo apt-get install postgresql-9.1 Reading package lists... Done Building dependency tree Reading state information... Done E: Couldn't find package postgresql-9.1 I experience the same issue whenever I use the package manager, so I usually just download and build things from source. How can I make it find up-to-date software?

    Hello to all! This is my first question here on stack overflow. i need help on a problem i encountered during an ASP.NET MVC2 project i am currently working on. I should note that I'm relatively new to MVC design, so pls bear my ignorance. Here goes : I have a regular form on which various details about a person are shown. One of them is "Date of Birth". Model.Value.ToShortDateString() : string.Empty))%> I used LinqToSql designer to create my model from an sql database. So i created a custom DataAnnotation attribute in order to validate the date : public class BirthdayAttribute : ValidationAttribute { private const string _errorMessage = "Please enter a valid date"; public BirthdayAttribute() : base(_errorMessage) { } public override bool IsValid(object value) { if (value == null) { return true; } DateTime temp; bool result = DateTime.TryParse(value.ToString(), out temp); return result; } } Well, my problem is this. Once i enter an incorrect date in the DateOfBirth field then no custom message is displayed even if use the attribute like [Birthday(ErrorMessage=".....")]. The message displayed is the one returned from the db ie "The value '32/4/1967' is not valid for DateOfBirth.". I tried to enter some break points around the code, and found out that the "value" in attribute is always null when the date is incorrect, but always gets a value if the date is in correct format. The same ( value == null) is passed also in the code generated by the designer. This thing is driving me nuts. Please can anyone help me deal with this? Also if someone can tell me where exactly is the point of entry from the view to the database. Is it related to the model binder? because i wanted to check exactly what value is passed once i press the "submit" button. Thank you.

    I am having an issue with the DHTMLX Calendar with the onChange in the input field. However in this case: the onchange with this calendar does nothing. I have tried changing the following to this: jQuery(document).ready(function($){ var calendar; calendar = new dhtmlXCalendarObject(["date"]); calendar.hideTime(); calendar.setDateFormat("%d/%m/%Y"); calendar.attachEvent("onChange",function(date, state){ checkDate(); }); $('.lightbox').lightbox(); $('#slider').cycle(); }); function checkDate() { var date = $("[name='date']").val(); alert(date); } But the onchange event happens before the date is entered, ie when i click on the input field. Reason for changing from JQuery UI to this DHTMLX is that JQuery UI Datepicker does not support all platforms (iPhones/iPads etc) and DHTMLX does.

  • C# Convert Excel Range to Dataset or Datatable, etc.

    I have an Excel spreadsheet that will sit out on a network share drive. It needs to be accessed by my Winforms C# 3.0 application (many users could be using the app and hitting this spreadsheet at the same time). There is a lot of data on one worksheet. This data is broken out into areas that I have named as ranges. I need to be able to access these ranges individually, return each range as a dataset, and then bind it to a grid. I have found examples that use OLE and have got these to work. However, I have seen some warnings about using this method, plus at work we have been using Microsoft.Office.Interop.Excel as the standard thus far. I don't really want to stray from this unless I have to. Our users will be using Office 2003 on up as far as I know. I can get the range I need with the following code: MyDataRange = (Microsoft.Office.Interop.Excel.Range)MyWorkSheet.get_Range("MyExcelRange", Type.Missing); The OLE way was nice as it would take my first row and turn those into columns. My ranges (12 total) are for the most part different from each other in number of columns. Didn't know if this info would affect any recommendations. Is there any way to use Interop and get the returned range back into a dataset? Thanks for your help.
