Where can I tell exim to run a shell/php command everytime a new mail has been delivered to a virtual mailbox. It does not matter to which user the mail is delivered?
Turnkey Linux distributes Linux virtual machines in a Xen compatible format.
I have a XenServer instance running and I would like to run a recently downloaded Turnkey Linux virtual machine on it.
But I have never used XenServer before.
Can you point me a tutorial specific for this case, since the manual doens't seem to cover it very well?
I've install SCCM 2012 on a server and have successfully used the Remote Control option to take control of a system I've setup to be managed by SCCM. Now, I don't want to have to log in to a server every time I want to access this client...is there a way to run the Remote Control Viewer client on my desktop OS so I can take remote control of systems rather than having to remote in from the server? This seems like very basic functionality...but I haven't been able to figure it out thus far.
Is there another way to run Apache2 securely for multiple end users (like hosting hundreds of blogs) without using CGI mode as required by suPHP?
It just seems so inefficient to use CGI mode for PHP when if we could set up permissions properly, we could host PHP through mod_php perhaps?
I mean, I do want to restrict these users to their home directories for their sites, but don't want any security issues.
What permissions does a database user need to be able to run oracle's sql loader? For instance, since sql loader will disable indexes and triggers, does it need ALTER permissions for those items?
This seems like a simple question, but I can't find any documentation on this in the manual.
I'm searching for an OSK application for Windows XP that can be resized.
It also must save the new size of the windows so the next time it starts, remember the previous size.
The one coming along with Windows 7 is the perfect match. But unfortunately it must run on WinXP. So...
Thanks in advance.
At our university we have some computers in the "networking lab", that are configured to allow everybody to run nmap as root via /etc/sudoers. Could this be a security vulnerability?

I've started some development that requires Linux (I'm currently on Ubuntu, but I may switch to Debian), but I still use Windows 7 for my day-to-day computing.
I have already tried a dual-boot setup, but I've found that it is too cumbersome to switch between Linux and Windows.
I'm wondering if it's possible to setup an installation of Linux (again, Ubuntu or Debian) on a partition of my hard drive that I can also run from Windows in a virtualized environment.
For example:
Lets say i have 10 servers (Server 1-Server10) and a csv list where i have the servernames and a individual Foldername/Path for each server.
How would i create these Folders on each machine?
a) Open all 10 connections and run a command based on the csv ?
b) stepping through 1by1
Please point me to the most effective way
Does anyone know if a VMware Fusion virtual machine of Windows 7 would run better on a class 6 SDHC card than it does sharing the disk with Mac OS? Or if a single SSD drive would do better? I like to live in the Mac world for day-to-day things, but I also have a complete development environment set up in Windows 7.
I want to run a shell script upon system shutdown in Knoppix Live (which runs from a writable USB flash drive) so that I can backup some data and ftp it to a remote server. The script works fine but I'm not sure where to put it so that it executes when the system goes into shutdown.
Or should perfmon be limited to a Dev/QA server with load tests that simulate production activity?
I'd like to run perfmon for a two days (like Sql Server master Brent Ozar suggests) to get an overall feel of my web app's database performance.

When I start Management Studio, unless I use the "Run as Administrator" selection, I cannot login to my local SQL Server. Is this normal? I am a normal developer and don't believe I have a need for high security on my local machine.
I'm running SQL Server 2008, Windows 7.
The error I get is:
Cannot connect to (local)
Additional Information
Login failed for user 'MYCOMPUTER\MyName'. (Microsoft SQL Server, Error: 18456)
Does anyone know of a good program, web service, or CMS for documenting servers, IP addresses, logins, and network?
Only requirement it must run on and from Linux.
And it is just for a small network of 10-15 servers.

How to run specific program with root privileges (Ubuntu OS) when no sudo user log into system? Program need root privileges to function correctly. Normal user shouldn't be able to shutdown this process.
For example, I have to users. Admin and Client.
Program should start only when Client log into system. It needs root privileges and Client shouldn't be able to shut this process down.
I have an account with a torrent site that gives and takes credits when you upload/download respectively. My ideal setup to keep my credits going would be some kind of media box that keeps and manages my music and videos etc. Ideally, I'd like this to be a headless box that I could just telnet into and have it run torrents that way. This server would be running ubuntu server by the way.
Hi,
I run an Ubuntu server virtualbox under a Windows host for web development.
At the moment I do all editing in Vim running inside PuTTY. It runs pretty well, but lacks some useful features like native copypasting from the host.
I know about the remote mode of Vim, but afaik it can only operate on the same machine.
Question is, is it possible to make gVim on the windows host proxy all the commands (and the editing) to a Vim instance running on the Linux guest?
For example:
nginx and php-cgi are in the defaults run level, and they are not started yet.
What's the command to start them all, instead of starting then individually?
I know there is a command, but I totally forgot it.
Hello,
We have just added a new domain in our forest. We have had OCS 2007 R2 (standard) up and running in our forest for some time. However those domains were already present when we did all of the prep work (schema, forest, & domain)
We will not be adding a new OCS Server in the new domain (just pointing users to the existing box). Do I need to run the domain prep again for the new domain?
Thanks.
How can I make SCOM 2007 run an executable or custom code when it receives an event? I'd like to be able to kick off either or when any kind of event hits Ops Manager.
