• Could not load file or assembly log4net or one of its dependencies

  I've been asked to take a look at an error in an ASP/C# application with its Paypal integration. The error, shown in full, is: Could not load file or assembly 'log4net, Version=1.2.0.30714, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b32731d11ce58905' or one of its dependencies. The located assembly's manifest definition does not match the assembly reference. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80131040) From what I understand, this means that the actual file located (that is, log4net.dll in my bin directory) does not match the version expected based on some assembly configuration. The problem I'm having is that I cannot locate where this file is being referenced. I have access to all the files in the web root directory of the site, and cannot locate any config files that reference this DLL. Where else might I need to look to determine what's causing the mis-match? As a note, I've made sure that the version of the DLL in the bin directory is up to date, but this does not seem to have resolved anything.

• Why aren't the :locals hash variables being passed in to a partial, when called from inside my rake

  I need to render a bunch of painfully long running partials using a rake task. When I try to pull the partial from a rake task, I get the dreaded "Called id for nil, which would mistakenly be 4" error, which usually means that my locals hash has not been properly set into the partial.   So I am getting the same issue as mentioned here - http://stackoverflow.com/questions/1366746/gem-install-mysql-failure-in-snow-leopard But I haven't been able to get it fixed using the answers on this link. Here's a brief history - I had MAMP on my machine, but now I downloaded the latest MySQL from mysql.com and installed version 5.1.46 this new version runs fine and client "mysql" is able to connect and I also have XCode v3.2.1, since someone mentioned that it can cause issues. Here's the error - **Building native extensions. This could take a while... • Python's subprocess.Popen object hangs gathering child output when child process does not exit

  When a process exits abnormally or not at all, I still want to be able to gather what output it may have generated up until that point.   I'm trying to install PEAR on OS X. I just want to hide them. So in my /private/etc/php.ini file, I have the following: error_reporting = E_ALL & ~E_NOTICE & ~E_STRICT & ~E_DEPRECATED This hides those same errors in my own code. But in PEAR it doesn't. They seem to be changing the error_reporting level. Is there a good way to fix this?

Most things were going pretty smooth until I tried to start up my thin server.   hey, I have a firmware for an USB module I can already control by visual C. Now I want to port this to python. for this I need the octopus library which is written in c.   I'm using wget in a php script and need to get the name of the file downloaded. For example, if I try <?php system('/usr/bin/wget -q --directory-prefix="./downloads/" http://www.google.com/'); ?> I will get a file called index.html in the downloads directory. The page will not always be google though, so I need to find out the name of the file that was downloaded. InnoDB is one of MySQL storage engines, it supports transactions, row-level locking, and foreign-keys. However, by default, InnoDB is not enabled by XAMPP. The parameter which I pass to my console application /i "C:\Projects\PC\trunk\Simulator\PDF-Source\PDF-Source\bin\Debug\ConversionFiles\dummy.pdf" /o "result" CommandLine variable return three arguments, but I pass four and values of these arguments messed up. /i = true "C:\Projects\PC\trunk\Simulator\PDF-Source\PDF-Source\bin\Debug\ConversionFiles\dummy.pdf" = true /o = "result" As you see only the last argument is parsed corectlly. • SqlPlus on mac osx 10.6 doesn't work

• nunit2 Nant task always returns exit code 0 (TeamCity 5.0)

  Hello, I just cannot for the life of me get my nant build file to terminate upon a test failure and return (thus preventing the packaging and artifact step from running) This is the unit part of the nant file: <target name="unittest" depends="build"> <nunit2 verbose="true" haltonfailure="false" failonerror="true" failonfailureatend="true"> <formatter type="Xml" /> <test assemblyname="Code\AppMonApiTests\bin\Release\AppMonApiTests.dll" /> </nunit2> </target> And regardless what combination of true/false i set the haltonfailure, failonerror, failonfailureatend properties to, the result is always this: [11:15:09]: Some tests has failed in C:\Build\TeamCity\buildAgent\work\ba5b94566a814a34\Code\AppMonApiTests\bin\Release\AppMonApiTests.dll, tests run terminated. [11:15:09]: NUnit Launcher exited with code: 1 [11:15:09]: Exit code 0 will be returned.1 Please help as i don't want to be publishing binarys where the unit tests have failed!!! • Mouse wheel not scrolling in JDialog

  Hello, I'm facing a frustrating issue. I have an application where the scroll wheel doesn't work in a JDialog class. Can someone enlighten me? My opinion is that this is a java bug.   Say I have this perl "program" called simple.pl: #!/usr/bin/perl use xyz; # xyz is bogus and doesn't exist And I also have this "program", called simple2.pl: #!/usr/bin/perl system("simple.pl"); my $abc = `simple2.pl`; printf("abc %s\n", $abc); for both system and backtick, I get this message: Can't exec "simple.pl": No such file or directory at scripts/perl/simple2.pl line 7. Can't exec "simple2.pl": No such file or directory at scripts/perl/simple2.pl line 9. Not very useful for the user calling simple2.pl. Is there a way to get a more useful message?

  EDIT (the whole question, it was too unclear) I want to use OpenSSL.NET The OpenSSL.NET install instructions page: INSTALL Make sure you have libeay32.dll and ssleay32.dll in the current working directory of your application or in your PATH. DONE In your .NET project, add a reference to the ManagedOpenSsl.dll assembly. DONE I have put libeay32.dll and ssleay32.dll in both my bin/Debug and bin/Release directories. I have also put them in system32.
