• Silverlight DataGrid not stretching to accommodate all items in data source?

  I'm having problems getting a Silverlight DataGrid to stretch to accommodate all the items in it's dataSource. I've got a Grid that contains two DataGrids. I've tried setting height=Auto on the Grid and the DataGrids. I've tried setting HorizontalContentAlignment="Stretch" on the Grid and the DataGrids. The object tag has height="100%" I've set the Height="*" on the RowDefinitions for the Grid Any help would be very much appreciated! • Get content uri from file path in android

  Hi, I know the absolute path of an image (say for eg, /sdcard/cats.jpg). Is there any way to the content uri for this file ? Actually in my code I download an image and save it at a particular location. In order to set the image in an ImageView currently I open the file using the path, get the bytes and create a bitmap and then set the bitmap in the ImageView. This is a very slow process, instead if I could get the content uri then I could very easily use the method ImageView.setImageUri(uri) Thanks

  I've been trying to programmatically copy custom content type and its custom columns from one web to another for some time now, and I always get different errors or exceptions every time. After yet more tries, I received more strange and cryptic exception from Sharepoint after clicking onto a newly copied custom column in a custom content type.   I'm building a LMS system using Sharepoint (WSS 3.0) with the Sharepoint Learning Kit (SLK). One of the requirements is to be able to host Silverlight content within the SCORM package. Has anyone done this before? I haven't been able to find much (anything) online that talks about how to do this. Most of the content tools that exist for SCORM are able to handle Flash, but I haven't come across anything that will do Silverlight. If all else fails, I'll try to manually build a SCORM package, but I'd really like to find some examples or howtos of doing this with Silverlight first. Has anyone done this before?

• Putting data from local SQL database to remote SQL database without remote SQL access enabled (PHP)

  Hi, I have a local database, and all the tables are defined. Eventually I need to publish my data remotely, which I can do easily with PHPmyadmin. Problem however is that my remote host doesn't allow remote SQL connections at all, so writing a script that does a mysqldump and run it through a client (which would've been ideal) won't help me here. Since the schema won't change, but the data will, I need some kind of PHP client that works "reverse". My question is if such a client exists and what would be recommended to use (by experience). I just need an one way trip here, from my local database (Rails) to the remote database (supports PHP), preferable as simple and slick as possible. Thank you for your replies, comments and feedback!

  I am looking for a programatic way to access content in a Lotus Notes database (.nsf file) without having Lotus Notes software installed. Python would be preferred but I'm also willing to look at other languages e.g. C/C++ or other means e.g. SQL From what I have read, all of the methods e.g. Python COM access, pyodbc rely on having Lotus Notes server software installed. The problem I am trying to solve is to read the content and look for references (URL's back to a web site that is undergoing maintenance and the addresses in the web site will change) As a start, I want to get a list of references and hope to be able to replace them with the new references to the modified web site. Any ideas on how best to do this welcome :)

  How can I disable the local user account password complexity settings on Windows 2008 R2 "Server Core"? I am trying to migrate our windows 2003 web server to windows 2008 R2. I am trying to see if I can use the "Server Core" install, and it has been a very internet search intensive experience. What I can't find out how to do is to find out how to disable password complexity for local user accounts. While our user account generator currently creates nice strong passwords, there was a time when this was not the case and unfortunately forcing the users to change their password is not an option at this time. • Serving static content from cookie less domain and mod_deflate

  I have two domain. One domain with my main website and the other with js/css/etc.. files, static content. mod_deflate is enabled for both domains, but when i run ySlow in FireFox it says none of my static content is compressed. When i bring back the js or css file to my normal domain it gets compressed right. Only when its served from the other domain is it not compressed. Do i have to do some more configuration for this to work? I am using this line in my .htaccess file AddOutputFilterByType DEFLATE application/x-javascript text/css text/html text/xml text/plain application/x-httpd-php I tried to but the line in my httpd.conf file but it gives me the same results. PS. If this is more of a serverfault question i am sorry for this. But i see a lot of questions here concerning mod_deflate and ySlow

• Associate mount points with local disks in VBscript / WMI

  I have a VBscript that outputs various config items about a system. Both hardware and software. I can output disks and their associated partitions. I can output mount points. I do not seem to be able to associate a mount point with a local disk (where it actually is a local disk). I need to be able to do this using VBscript, so as to fit in with the rest of the ~2000 lines of code. I do NOT want to run some other program graphically. I know the disk manager service can show me (My Computer - Manage - Disk Management), but this is not what I need. I need to be able to do this remotely via VBscript. I am open to running an .exe from the VBscript and piping the output back into VBscript and massaging it from there. Any idea's ? Thanks in advance.

  Hi, I have a spring mvc project in eclipse, and its setup to use maven. I can resolve all my external dependencies, but now I want to include another local project in my workspace. Normally, I would do this through the java build path, and add a project reference. But if I do that manually, m2eclipse just removes those references from my classpath file. I'm assuming this is because maven wants to handle all dependencies. So I enable dependency management on the local project (the source files i want to include), and now when I add dependencies, this project shows up, and it adds it as a jar type (which is correct). I also ran maven-package to create a snapshot of the source project. But the jar is never added in the maven library list, and the project doesn't build because it can't find the classes. What am I doing wrong? Thanks for the help!

  I apologize if this has already been answered, but all the information out there on Facebook publishing is so confusing and conflicting, I haven't been able to get anything to work yet. I'm trying to set up an application that runs on my local server to publish content to my organization's fan page (this will tie in with my WCMS to cross-post content). I believe I want a Facebook Connect application to do this which I've set up properly in Facebook and gotten an application key and secret. Here's the code I'm trying to execute, but each time it's run I get "User has not authorized access" even if I'm just trying to publish to the application wall. • Problems with sticky footer - CSS - main content wont go 100% height (float)

  I'm trying to implement hxxp://www.cssstickyfooter.com however I am having a few problems! On smaller resolutions this is working as expected however once the user starts to increase there resolution the content doesn't expand as I intend it to. If you notice the blue box. That should stretch to the footer at the bottom of the page. If you notice that the blue divider line (right_container3-4) stops also at the same point.   Hey everyone, What I am trying to do is pass the raw content of an outgoing email to spamassassin in order to calculate a spam score. I am stuck in how I might get the raw content of the email. My C# code currently just constructs the MailMessage and passes it the SmtpClient's Send() method. Before sending, is there a way to get a raw version of the mail message (as the protocol might see it) so that I can pass this to the spamassassin tool for spam assessment? • Accessing Content from MDF after attached to SQL

  Hello, I am using WSS 3.0 and trying to restore a mdf. I attached the database in SQL Management Studio, created a new web application, and associated the database to it. When I go into Central Administration- Application Management - Content Databases I see the WSS_Content and it says Sites: 2. One of the sites looks more similar to the other. I was able to log into the Sharepoint web app that has the db attached to it, and while it gives me the basic structure of the backed up site, the content of lists is blank, that was the data I was really after (Announcements, tasks, etc exist as lists but are empty). How do I get access to this?

• jQuery.load() Retrieving partial page content causes duplicate ID in DOM

  I developped a package to extend Visual Studio. As part of it, I have a context menu that must process the whole text content of the active document (HTML editor). I understand how to get the current selection : TextSelection txtSelection = (TextSelection)_bllManager.CurrentDocument.Selection; But I dont't understand how to get the whole content of the code window in case nothing is selected. Currently I use a work-around doing txtSelection.SelectAll() but it moves the cursor and I don't want that. Any suggestion ? Thanks.
