• Open fancyBox manually with thumbnail helpers

I have used the snippet provided by the author for the gallery with only one preview picture and then I added the code for show the thumbnails helper, in this way, but it doesn't show the thumbnails.... I suppose because when you open fancybox manually you don't specify where are the thumbnails, how could it be resolved?

  I have an application containing a variety of view controllers linked together in different ways (Welcome Browse Preview OR Browse Preview OR Settings Splash). The first view controller is presented modally using a navigation controller from a main controller, then the next set of view controllers are added using pop and push. This works correctly, but I need to be able to define my 'UINavigationBar' and 'UIToolbar' within interface builder, so they still work as expected if they are presented without using a navigation controller. The error happens in the do_put() method. The rest of the script seems to be fine. • Arduino - AdHoc Network Setup

  I`m currently working with an arduino trying to build an adhoc network to which a device can connect to and send web request to. The problem I am currently having is that I can only set up one connection and then when that connection is terminated (client.stop()) all subsequent connections are not picked up by the server, even a curl command just sits there spinning. The first connection I start when I reset the server works fine and I am able to talk to the server; but after that, the arduino can no longer find new clients (even though it's trying with the library given). I`m using the sparkfun library for the wifly shield cloned from github, along with an Arduino Uno. My current code is based off their default example 'WiFly_AdHoc_Example' but I had to remove a few things to get the network to start up which might be the cause of this problem. EDIT: Using telnet I can successfully connect (the first time) and send commands to the arduino including one to terminate the connection (calls the client.stop() method). But when I try to reconnect though telnet, it says the connection was successful but on the arduino it's still looping thinking the client is still false. WHAT??? I know right, I'm getting mixed messages from telnet vs arduino. None of the commands work obviously since the ardunio is still looping waiting for a client that evaluates to true. I'm gonna take a look at WiFlyServer from the library I imported and see if I can dig up the problem because somehow that server.available() method isn't finding new clients. Noticing a lot of TODO's in the library code.... EDIT: So I found the reason for the problem, it was in WiFlyServer.cpp file from the sparkfun library. The code that was causing the reconnect issue was infact in the server.availible() method. Right at the top of the method, there is a check: // TODO: Ensure no active non-server client connection. if (!WiFly.serverConnectionActive) { activeClient._port = 0; } For some reason when I comment this out, I can reconnect fine and everything works as it should. I will now dive into the library and see if I can fix this, I'm not exactly sure what this is doing but it gets called when the server connection is not active and is somehow blocking subsequent connections. Does anyone have any ideas how I might get to the root of this problem without using this commenting hack? Please help, no-one has commented or answered yet! Don't you want to join in on the fun???

• Using only alphanumeric characters(a-z) inside toCharArray

  Below you will find me using toCharArray in order to send a string to array. I then MOVE the value of the letter using a for statement... for(i = 0; i < letter.length; i++){ letter[i] += (shiftCode); System.out.print(letter[i]); } However, when I use shiftCode to move the value such as... a shifted by -1; I get a symbol @. Is there a way to send the string to shiftCode or tell shiftCode to ONLY use letters? I need it to see my text, like "aaron", and when I use the for statement iterate through a-z only and ignore all symbols and numbers. I THINK it is as simple as... letter=codeWord.toCharArray(a,z); But trying different forms of that and googling it didn't give me any results. Perhaps it has to do with regex or something? • Perl LWP::UserAgent mishandling UTF-8 response

  When I use LWP::UserAgent to retrieve content encoded in UTF-8 it seems LWP::UserAgent doesn't handle the encoding correctly. Here's the output after setting the Command Prompt window to Unicode by the command chcp 65001 Note that this initially gives the appearance that all is well, but I think it's just the shell reassembling bytes and decoding UTF-8, From the other output you can see that perl itself is not handling wide characters correctly. • Weird canvas/page size printing problem in Adobe Acrobat

  I am trying to print a document in Adobe Acrobat. For some reason, Acrobat wants to print my document smaller than it actually is, despite having chosen that I DO NOT want the image to be scaled: http://www.freeimagehosting.net/image.php?945fbb3f41.png See the grey area on the top and left of the preview? That's the area that's getting cut off. Notice that the whole preview (INCLUDING the gray areas) is 8.5x11 in. Also look at the paper size, a nice 8.5x11 in. This happens for any real printer I connect to my computer. However, printing to a "fake" software printer is not a problem: Printing to a software printer: Use the above link but change the image name to this: 769eaf59ab.png Any ideas? I've tried messing with the paper sizes but no luck. I can't use "Shrink to printable area" because ultimately I'm doing this to print to a preprinted form (the same issue occurs when I select "Form fields only" but this demonstrates it better).

• Driverless printer sharing on Windows.

  I have a printer hooked up to a computer running Windows XP. It prints fine from that computer, but I'd like to set up other computers (running Vista and 7) to print from it as well. I tried setting up printer sharing, but it wouldn't work because the client computers needed to install the print driver as well. (The driver itself has been discontinued and there's no version for Vista or 7.) Is there some (hopefully free) software I can install to, say, add a virtual printer that sends the data to a host computer to print it, rather then having to directly access the printer over the network via the Windows printer sharing model?

• How do I decrypt a password-protected PDF on OSX?

  I have a PDF that requires a password to view. I know what the password is. I frequently open this PDF to print it, and find entering the password each time incredibly annoying. How can I remove the password from the PDF? Since I need to print it, simply taking a screenshot isn't a good solution. I tried printing the file to a PDF, but Preview disables the "Save as PDF..." option in the print dialog.

• Address Label Printing without Windows Address Book

  In the past I've maintained my address book using the built-in Address Book utility that came with Windows. Once each year, I would import my Address Book (.WAB) file into Outlook 2003/XP. (I don't use Outlook for email.) Then I would use the Mail Merge feature in Word 2003/XP to make and print address labels on standard Avery label sheets to simplify address of my Christmas cards. Since I'm now using Windows 7, and the familiar Address Book utility is no longer available, how can I print my address labels? I have both Windows Address Book (.WAB) and Comma-Separated Values (.CSV) files that contain my address book data. So, I guess I need to know two things: Which program or utility (preferably free) can I use to print my address labels. How do I import my address data into that program? If it helps, I am already a user of Gmail and Google Drive. Thanks.

• Default shell for running scripts (w/o shebang) in macos?

  I have ZSH as default shell in MacOS, everything is working fine. ZSH is installed as brew package, Ive set default shell in my account, new shell is listed in /etc/shells... everything is set, like I've said. I have some shell scripts in which I use some commands from zsh, like print. When I execute the script from command line, the print command is not recognized and the script fails. This script does not have the shebang line. When I put the shebang line for zsh, then everything works; the print command is working. Since I am using only ZSH, is it possible to set default shell for running scripts, so I don't have to put shebang line in my .zsh scripts? Or is it possible to associate .zsh extension to ZSH shell execution?

• Send documents to printer without waiting for Vista to handle queue

  I got a print server on our old printer. Vista has its own queue which presents a problem. I want to bypass this queue and send everything straight away to the printer so the print server deals with the queue and not Vista. Problem is when a second document is being printed from the same computer after first one. Vista is still waiting for info on finishing the first job even 5 minutes after it was REALLY finished. How do I get it so that I can send straight to the print server and not have Vista slow things down by trying to handle the queue itself?
