    Hi, Case #1: I have ISPConfig3 running, sending email through telnet server.mydomain.com 25 are possible. Receiving email also possible. BUT!! problem occurs when I try to login to squirrel...   • jQuery: Using autocomplete to add values to two fields instead of one

    I want to use the autocomplete plugin for jQuery to populate not one, but two fields when selecting one of the autocomplete values - the name of a band is entered in the #band input field, but the band url (if exists) should also automatically be added to the #url input field when selecting the band name. Right now I simply have an un-pretty list in an external php file from which the autocompleter takes it's values: $bands_sql = "SELECT bands.name, bands.url FROM bands ORDER BY name"; $bands_result = mysql_query($bands_sql) or print (mysql_error()); while ($bands_row = mysql_fetch_array($bands_result)) { $band_name = $bands_row['name']; $band_url = $bands_row['url']; echo $band_name."\n"; #needs to be replaced with an array that holds name and url } My autocomplete function looks very basic atm, but as I'm an absolute beginner when it comes to jQuery (and also clueless when it comes to PHP arrays), I have no idea how to tell it to populate two fields and not one. $(document).ready(function() { $("#band").autocomplete('/autocomplete-bands.php'); }); Is that even possible?!

    The ChoiceField creates a select html element and the options show the choice_label which is the _unicode_ of each model object. How can I change the text of the choice_label without modifying _unicode_ ? I have a Product model and I want to show in the options text the product name + price + link to edit. I've searched in fields.py and widgets.py but couldn't find what needed to be changed. Thanks

  • Why doesn't git commit -a add new files?

    I'm a bit new to git, and I fail to understand why git commit -a only stages changed and deleted files but not new files. Can anyone explain why is it like this, and why there is no other commit flag to enable adding files and committing in one command? BTW, hg commit -A adds both new and deleted files to the commit

    Hi, thanks for taking a look at this question. I have been building an application (VB/WPF) following Josh Smith's example of an MVVM pattern: Click here to view My Views have Controls which trigger a Command upon an event, such as a button click and these are bound to properties in the ViewModel. My ViewModel exposes properties of type ICommand which invoke the appropriate methods. This has worked well, until now! I now want to use a Thumb Control to allow a user to move an object within a Canvas. I don't believe that the Thumb has a Command capability 'out of the box'. A Thumb raises a 'DragDelta' event when being moved. So my question is as follows: How do I extend a Control's capability to issue a Command upon an event please? I wish to issue a new Command, let's say 'onDragDelta' so that I can bind it to a property in my ViewModel just like my Buttons. Thank you very much

    I have 2 RESTful Rails apps I'm trying to make talk to each other. Both are written in Rails 3 (beta3 at the moment). The requests to the service will require the use an api key which is just a param that needs to be on every request. I can't seem to find any information on how to do this. You define the url the resource connects to via the site= method. There should be an equivalent query_params= method or similar. There is one good blog post I found related to this and it's from October 2008, so not exactly useful for Rails 3.

    Running into a problem. I have a table defined to hold the values of the daily treasury yield curve. It's a pretty simple table used for historical lookup of values. There are notibly some gaps in the table on year 4, 6, 8, 9, 11-19 and 21-29. The formula is pretty simple in that to calculate year 4 it's 0.5*Year3Value + 0.5*Year5Value. The problem is how can I write a VIEW that can return the missing years? I could probably do it in a stored procedure but the end result needs to be a view.

    Hi. I need to set java -Djava.library.path=/some/path and I want to do it when I am running my ant script, building my jar. I think I have to use <sysproperty key="java.library.path" value="/some/path"/> but it doesnt work. I cannot make the syntax work. The only thing I have Googled and found is sysproperty in conjunction with <java classname> but that doesnt make any sense to me. I am not sure if this is relevant, but I am using ant to create a ear and deploying this ear in JBoss.

  • jQuery - Add click event to Div and go to first link found

    Hi guys, I think I've been too much time looking at this function and just got stuck trying to figure out the nice clean way to do it. It's a jQuery function that adds a click event to any div with a click CSS class found in the page and when clicked it redirects the user to the first link found in the div. function clickabledivs() { $('.click').each( function (intIndex) { $(this).bind("click", function(){ window.location = $( "#"+$(this).attr('id')+" a:first-child" ).attr('href'); }); } ); } The code simply works although I'm pretty sure there is a fairly better way to accomplish it, specially the selector I am using: $( "#"+$(this).attr('id')+" a:first-child" ) looks too long and slow.     I would like to use a fixed image as the background in a simple grouped table view in my iPhone program. Unfortunately, no matter what I do, the background is always solid white. I have followed several supposed solutions on this site and others to no avail. Here is the relavant code in the viewDidLoad method of the table view controller class (note, this code uses a solid blue color rather than an image for simplicity's sake): self.tableView.opaque = NO; self.tableView.backgroundColor = [UIColor clearColor]; UIView *backgroundView = [[UIView alloc] initWithFrame:CGRectMake(0, 0, 320, 480)]; backgroundView.backgroundColor = [UIColor blueColor]; [self.tableView.window addSubview:backgroundView]; [backgroundView release]; I suspect that I am not positioning the backgroundView view in the right place. I have tried sendToBack:, bringToFront:, and others but I always just get a white background. Is it possible to do this from within the UITableViewController? Must I use Interface Builder?

    Hi, I wonder if someone can help me out on this: I'm writing some code to copy a set of contacts received through a web application into the Address Book. I want to put all these new contacts under a certain group. My code successfully creates the group and adds the contacts into the address book. However, the 'ABGroupAddMember' operation fails. It fails without an error and the result it returns is true, meaning that according to the debugger the contact should have been added to the group. However, this does not work. The portion of my loop code that adds the contact to the address book and then assigns it to the group is this: ABAddressBookAddRecord(addressBook,person, &anError); ABAddressBookSave(addressBook,&anError); ABGroupAddMember(fusionLiveGroupRef,person, &anError); ABAddressBookSave(addressBook,&anError); All references are valid. No errors are returned. All operations return true. What is going wrong?

  • Add ability to provide list items to composite control with DropDownLIst

    I'm creating a composite control for a DropDownList (that also includes a Label). The idea being that I can use my control like a dropdown list, but also have it toss a Label onto the page in front of the DDL. I have this working perfectly for TextBoxes, but am struggling with the DDL because of the Collection (or Datasource) component to populate the DDL. Basically I want to be able to do something like this: <ecc:MyDropDownList ID="AnimalType" runat="server" LabelText="this is what will be in the label"> <asp:ListItem Text="dog" Value="dog" /> <asp:ListItem Text="cat" Value="cat" /> </ecc:MyDropDownList> The problem is, I'm not extending the DropDownList class for my control, so I can't simply work it with that magic. I need some pointers to figure out how I can turn my control (MyDropDownList), which is currently just a System.Web.UI.UserControl, into something that will accept List items within the tag and ideally, I'd like to be able to plug it into a datasource (the same functions that the regular DDL offers). I tried with no luck just extending the regular DDL, but couldn't get the Label component to fly with it.

  • Having difficulty add a custom icon to a JFrame

I have virtually tried everything: The icon is 16x16 which is the right size ....doesn't work I've trying PNG,GIF and JPG formats none of them work. Tried different way of setting the icon....doesn't work.     I'm wondering what options one has in xhtml 1.0 strict to create a line on both sides of text like-so: Section one ----------------------- Next section ----------------------- Section two I've thought of doing some fancy things like this: <div style="float:left; width: 44%;"><hr/></div> <div style="float:right; width: 44%;"><hr/></div> Next section Or alternatively, because the above has problems with alignment (both vertical and horizontal): <table><tr> <td style="width:47%"><hr/></td> <td style="vertical-align:middle; text-align: center">Next section</td> <td style="width:47%"><hr/></td> </tr></table> However both options feel 'fudgy', and I'd be much obliged if you happened to have seen this before and know of an elegant solution.
