    Currently a user makes a purchase and then a license is generated and sent to that user, but the license isn't tied to a physical computer so there is nothing to prevent the user sharing the license with someone. I heard people talk about creating a license tied to the mac address of the computer, so the license only works on that computer. Now I know how to get the mac address in code but I dont understand how I can do this step when they first make the purchase on the web, so please what is the basic algorithm for node locked licenses ?

According to my design, when the application starts first time, I want to display a layout with LOGIN facebook button. After the user will perform login for the first time, I dont want to display this layout/activity again - when the application would be relanched, I want t display another (home) screen, and not the LOGIN one.     I'm new to java and i'm trying to find a way of incrementing through an user input IP address range. For example from 192.168.0.1 to 192.168.0.255. However the way my application works at the moment is the take the from and to ip addresses as a String. Is there a way I can increment through all the ip addresses the user input from and to? Hope this makes sense and please dont flame me, I have looked for an answer!

  • Insert hex string value to sql server binary field is appending extra 0

    Have a binary field and want to insert into this from a hex string: insert into binaryTable(binaryField) values(convert(varbinary(max), 0x0)) however when I run select the value is return with an extra 0 as 0x00 This extra 0 is causing a problem in another application, I dont want it. Interesting, is if I do a select on an existing value and it returns say 0x55 then inserting this same value using the above query will return a select of 0x055. How to stop the extra 0 being added?
