  • Save Values AUTOMATICALLY with NSUserDefaults

    - by Edouard Tarter
I have an app with two UITextFields, where the user enters an integer, and then a method is called with the values the user enters. But when I completely close the app, the values are deleted. I want to change it to save the value the user entered when it closes, and loads it up when the app is re-opened. I tried this with NSUserDefault, and it worked fine (with save and load button), but I want it to make it automatically, without pressing any buttons. I saw some other people do it with the basic methods in the AppDelegate.m, but I don't know anything about that, therefore I didn't understand it at all. I saw MANY tutorials online, but I didn't understand any of them, please help, and give a detailed answer, thanks :)

  • problems programmatically creating UIView on iPad App

    - by user3871
I have been struggling with this problem for a few days. My iPad app is designed to be a portrait game. To satisfy Apple's expection, I also support landscape mode. When it goes into landscape mode, the game goes into a letterbox format with back borders on the sides. My problem is I am creating the UIWindow and UIView programmatically. For some unkown reason, the touch controls are "locked" in to think I'm always in landscape mode. And even though visually in portrait mode everything looks correct, the top and bottom of the screen does not respond to touch. To summarize how I am setting this up, let me provide the skeletal framework of what I'm doing: in main.cpp: int retVal = UIApplicationMain(argc, argv, nil, @"derbyPoker_ipadAppDelegate"); In the delegate, I am doing this: - (BOOL)application:(UIApplication *)application didFinishLaunchingWithOptions:(NSDictionary *)launchOptions { CGRect screenBounds = [[UIScreen mainScreen] bounds]; CGFloat scale = [[ UIScreen mainScreen] scale ]; m_device_width = screenBounds.size.width; m_device_height = screenBounds.size.height; m_device_scale = scale; // Everything is built assuming 640x960 window = [[ UIWindow alloc ] initWithFrame:[[UIScreen mainScreen] bounds]]; viewController = [ glView new ]; [self doStateChange:[blitz class]]; return YES; } The last bit of code sets up the UIView... - (void) doStateChange: (Class) state{ viewController.view = [[state alloc] initWithFrame:CGRectMake(0, 0, m_device_width, m_device_height) andManager:self]; viewController.view.contentMode = UIViewContentModeScaleAspectFit; viewController.view.autoresizesSubviews = YES; [window addSubview:viewController.view]; [window makeKeyAndVisible]; } The problem seems to related to the line viewController.view.contentMode = UIViewContentModeScaleAspectFit; If I remove that line, touch works correctly in portrait mode. But the negative is when I'm landscape mode, the game stretches incorrectly. So That's not a option. The frustrating thing is, when I originally had this set up with a NIB file, it worked fine. I have read through the docs about UIWindow, UIViewController and UIView and have tried about everything to no avail. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  • Binding MediaElement to a ViewModel in a Windows 8 Store App

    - by jdanforth
If you want to play a video from your video-library in a MediaElement control of a Metro Windows Store App and tried to bind the Url of the video file as a source to the MediaElement control like this, you may have noticed it’s not working as well for you: <MediaElement Source="{Binding Url}" /> I have no idea why it’s not working, but I managed to get it going using  ContentControl instead: <ContentControl Content="{Binding Video}" /> The code behind for this is: protected override void OnNavigatedTo(NavigationEventArgs e) {     _viewModel = new VideoViewModel("video.mp4");     DataContext = _viewModel; } And the VideoViewModel looks like this: public class VideoViewModel {     private readonly MediaElement _video;     private readonly string _filename;       public VideoViewModel(string filename)     {         _filename = filename;         _video = new MediaElement { AutoPlay = true };         //don't load the stream until the control is ready         _video.Loaded += VideoLoaded;     }       public MediaElement Video     {         get { return _video; }     }       private async void VideoLoaded(object sender, RoutedEventArgs e)     {         var file = await KnownFolders.VideosLibrary.GetFileAsync(_filename);         var stream = await file.OpenAsync(FileAccessMode.Read);         _video.SetSource(stream, file.FileType);     } } I had to wait for the MediaElement.Loaded event until I could load and set the video stream.

  • Having an issue with overwriting an element of a file correctly (numeric)

    - by IngeniousHax
This is an ATM style program, but currently it doesn't do exactly what I need it to do... I need to get the current balance, and when money is transferred from either checking or savings, it should add it to checking and subtract it from savings. which is does, but not correctly... Input example -=[ Funds Transfer ]=- -=[ Savings to Checking ]=- Account Name: nomadic Amount to transfer: $400 New Balance in Checking: $900 // original was 500 New Balance in Savings: $7.7068e+012 // this should now be 1100... Here is my code, it's a lot of code, but there are no errors, so throwing it into an IDE and compiling should be fairly quick for whoever would like to help. mainBankClass.h mainBankClass.h #ifndef MAINBANKCLASS_H #define MAINBANKCLASS_H #include <iostream> #include <fstream> #include <string> using namespace std; class Banking { protected: string checkAcctName, saveAcctName; // Name on the account int acctNumber[13]; // Account number float acctBalance, initSaveDeposit, initCheckDeposit, depAmt; // amount in account, and amount to deposit public: char getBalanceChoice(); // Get name on account for displaying relevant information char newAccountMenu(); // Create a new account and assign it a random account number void invalid(char *); // If an invalid option is chosen char menu(); // Print the main menu for the user. virtual float deposit(){ return 0; } // virtual function for deposits // virtual float withdrawal() = 0; // Virtual function for withdrawals void fatal(char *); // Handles fatal errors. • Android launches system settings instead of my app

    - by jsundin
Hi, For some reason whenever I (try to) start my app the phone decides to launch system settings instead of my "main activity". And yes, I am referring to the "Android system settings", and not something from my app. This only happens on my phone, and I suppose it probably could be related to the fact that my app had just opened system settings when I decided to re-launch with a new version from Eclipse. It is possible to start the app from within Eclipse, but when I navigate back from the app it returns to the system settings rather than the home screen, as if the settings activity was started first and then my activity. If I then start the app from the phone all I get is system settings yet again. The app is listening to the VIEW-action for a specific URL substring, and when I start the app using a matching URL I get the same result as when I start it from Eclipse, app starts, but when I return I return to settings. I have tried googling for this problem, and all I could find was something about Android saving state when an app gets killed, but without any information on how to reset this state. I have tried uninstalling the app, killing system settings, rebooting the phone, reinstalling, clearing application data.. no luck.. For what it's worth, here's the definition of my main activity from the manifest, <activity android:name=".HomeActivity" android:label="@string/app_name" android:screenOrientation="portrait" android:clearTaskOnLaunch="true" android:launchMode="singleTop"> <intent-filter> <action android:name="android.intent.action.MAIN" /> <category android:name="android.intent.category.LAUNCHER" /> </intent-filter> <intent-filter> <action android:name="android.intent.action.VIEW"></action> <category android:name="android.intent.category.DEFAULT"></category> <category android:name="android.intent.category.BROWSABLE"></category> <data android:pathPrefix="/isak-web-mobile/smart/" android:scheme="http" android:host="*"></data> </intent-filter> </activity> And here is the logcat-line from when I try to start my app, nothing about any settings anywhere. I/ActivityManager( 1301): Starting activity: Intent { act=android.intent.action.MAIN cat=[android.intent.category.LAUNCHER] flg=0x10200000 cmp=se.opencare.isak/.HomeActivity } When I launch from Eclipse I also get this line (as one would expect), I/ActivityManager( 1301): Start proc se.opencare.isak for activity se.opencare.isak/.HomeActivity: pid=23068 uid=10163 gids={3003, 1007, 1015} If it matters the phone is a HTC Desire Z running 2.2.1. Currently, this is my HomeActivity, public class HomeActivity extends Activity { public static final String TAG = "HomeActivity"; @Override protected void onActivityResult(int requestCode, int resultCode, Intent data) { Log.d(TAG, "onActivityResult(" + requestCode + ", " + resultCode + ", " + data + ")"); super.onActivityResult(requestCode, resultCode, data); } @Override protected void onCreate(Bundle savedInstanceState) { Log.d(TAG, "onCreate(" + savedInstanceState + ")"); super.onCreate(savedInstanceState); } @Override protected void onDestroy() { Log.d(TAG, "onDestroy()"); super.onDestroy(); } @Override protected void onPause() { Log.d(TAG, "onPause()"); super.onPause(); } @Override protected void onPostCreate(Bundle savedInstanceState) { Log.d(TAG, "onPostCreate(" + savedInstanceState + ")"); super.onPostCreate(savedInstanceState); } @Override protected void onPostResume() { Log.d(TAG, "onPostResume()"); super.onPostResume(); } @Override protected void onRestart() { Log.d(TAG, "onRestart()"); super.onRestart(); } @Override protected void onRestoreInstanceState(Bundle savedInstanceState) { Log.d(TAG, "onRestoreInstanceState(" + savedInstanceState + ")"); super.onRestoreInstanceState(savedInstanceState); } @Override protected void onResume() { Log.d(TAG, "onResume()"); super.onResume(); } @Override protected void onStart() { Log.d(TAG, "onStart()"); super.onStart(); } @Override protected void onStop() { Log.d(TAG, "onStop()"); super.onStop(); } @Override protected void onUserLeaveHint() { Log.d(TAG, "onUserLeaveHint()"); super.onUserLeaveHint(); } } Nothing (of the above) is written to the log.

  • Is linux binary universal to all kinds of distributions?

    - by prosseek
I happen to install model sim VHDL simulator on Linux. The manual says it only supports RedHat or Suse, but I just tried to install it on Ubuntu. And, it just installed and works perfectly. Is linux binary universal to all kinds of distribution? I mean, if I make a program on distrubution A, can I be sure it will run on any linux? Why most of the commercial program vendor says the program is running on specific distribution? (mostly Redhat and Suse, not ubuntu)

Here is my question: In a simple desktop app, is there any reason not to instantiate my logger as a property ov the App class (App.xaml.cs), like this? public partial class App : Application { private static readonly ILog p_Logger = LogManager.GetLogger(MethodBase.GetCurrentMethod().DeclaringType); public ILog Logger { get { return p_Logger; } } #endregion } } That would allow me to invoke the logger

  • Android Developing App crashes on startup

    - by alexnavratil
    I currently develop an application which contains a custom ListView. I developed a custom array adapter. I think my app crashes here: ListView DirectoryView = (ListView) findViewById(R.id.fileListView); So i think the error is in the activity_main.xml: <LinearLayout xmlns:android="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/android" xmlns:tools="http://schemas.android.com/tools" android:layout_width="fill_parent" android:layout_height="fill_parent" > <ListView android:id="@+id/fileListView" android:layout_width="fill_parent" android:layout_height="fill_parent" android:layout_weight="1" > </ListView> Here is my LogCat: 09-09 11:19:21.254: E/Trace(1152): error opening trace file: No such file or directory (2) 09-09 11:19:21.484: D/AndroidRuntime(1152): Shutting down VM 09-09 11:19:21.484: W/dalvikvm(1152): threadid=1: thread exiting with uncaught exception (group=0x40a13300) 09-09 11:19:21.504: E/AndroidRuntime(1152): FATAL EXCEPTION: main 09-09 11:19:21.504: E/AndroidRuntime(1152): java.lang.RuntimeException: Unable to start activity ComponentInfo{com.teamdroid.explorer/com.teamdroid.explorer.MainActivity}: java.lang.NullPointerException 09-09 11:19:21.504: E/AndroidRuntime(1152): at android.app.ActivityThread.performLaunchActivity(ActivityThread.java:2059) 09-09 11:19:21.504: E/AndroidRuntime(1152): at android.app.ActivityThread.handleLaunchActivity(ActivityThread.java:2084) 09-09 11:19:21.504: E/AndroidRuntime(1152): at android.app.ActivityThread.access$600(ActivityThread.java:130) 09-09 11:19:21.504: E/AndroidRuntime(1152): at android.app.ActivityThread$H.handleMessage(ActivityThread.java:1195) 09-09 11:19:21.504: E/AndroidRuntime(1152): at android.os.Handler.dispatchMessage(Handler.java:99) 09-09 11:19:21.504: E/AndroidRuntime(1152): at android.os.Looper.loop(Looper.java:137) 09-09 11:19:21.504: E/AndroidRuntime(1152): at android.app.ActivityThread.main(ActivityThread.java:4745) 09-09 11:19:21.504: E/AndroidRuntime(1152): at java.lang.reflect.Method.invokeNative(Native Method) 09-09 11:19:21.504: E/AndroidRuntime(1152): at java.lang.reflect.Method.invoke(Method.java:511) 09-09 11:19:21.504: E/AndroidRuntime(1152): at com.android.internal.os.ZygoteInit$MethodAndArgsCaller.run(ZygoteInit.java:786) 09-09 11:19:21.504: E/AndroidRuntime(1152): at com.android.internal.os.ZygoteInit.main(ZygoteInit.java:553) 09-09 11:19:21.504: E/AndroidRuntime(1152): at dalvik.system.NativeStart.main(Native Method) 09-09 11:19:21.504: E/AndroidRuntime(1152): Caused by: java.lang.NullPointerException 09-09 11:19:21.504: E/AndroidRuntime(1152): at android.app.Activity.findViewById(Activity.java:1825) 09-09 11:19:21.504: E/AndroidRuntime(1152): at com.teamdroid.explorer.listDirectory.getDirectory(listDirectory.java:20) 09-09 11:19:21.504: E/AndroidRuntime(1152): at com.teamdroid.explorer.MainActivity.onCreate(MainActivity.java:33) 09-09 11:19:21.504: E/AndroidRuntime(1152): at android.app.Activity.performCreate(Activity.java:5008) 09-09 11:19:21.504: E/AndroidRuntime(1152): at android.app.Instrumentation.callActivityOnCreate(Instrumentation.java:1079) 09-09 11:19:21.504: E/AndroidRuntime(1152): at android.app.ActivityThread.performLaunchActivity(ActivityThread.java:2023) 09-09 11:19:21.504: E/AndroidRuntime(1152): ... 11 more Please can you help me. - by ShiShi
    following iOS6 eventKit and the new privacy settings I am using the following code - which works perfectly fine on iOS6 devices. Still, I would like the same code to work also for devices with iOS 5.x and I wish not to write a the "same code" twice - Seems wrong. Can anyone assist in an elegant solution ? EKEventStore *eventStore = [[EKEventStore alloc] init]; [eventStore requestAccessToEntityType:EKEntityTypeEvent completion:^(BOOL granted, NSError *error) { // some code }];

  • App dies on startup but not crash report

    - by brettr
I've given an ad hoc version of my app to some users. Two of them have the app die on start up while one user has no issues. I can also install the ad hoc without issue...but that is always the case for me. One user sent the info below from the Xcode Organizer Console. They didn't find any crash logs. I don't know what to make of the info below. The one thing that stands out is "Permission denied". I place the provisioning and myapp.app files in a dropbox folder. The user then retrieves the files from the same location. I've run codesign against the .app file in the dropbox and get valid output: codesign -vvvv myapp.app myapp.app: valid on disk myapp.app: satisfies its Designated Requirement Any one have some ideas how I can figure out why the app doesn't work for this user? Here is the Console output from one user. • NSOperation inside NSOperationQueue not being executed

    - by Martin Garcia
I really need help here. I'm desperate at this point. I have NSOperation that when added to the NSOperationQueue is not being triggered. I added some logging to see the NSOperation status and this is the result: Queue operations count = 1 Queue isSuspended = 0 Operation isCancelled? = 0 Operation isConcurrent? = 0 Operation isFinished? = 0 Operation isExecuted? = 0 Operation isReady? = 1 Operation dependencies? = 0 The code is very simple. Nothing special. LoadingConflictEvents_iPad *loadingEvents = [[LoadingConflictEvents_iPad alloc] initWithNibName:@"LoadingConflictEvents_iPad" bundle:[NSBundle mainBundle]]; loadingEvents.modalPresentationStyle = UIModalPresentationFormSheet; loadingEvents.conflictOpDelegate = self; [self presentModalViewController:loadingEvents animated:NO]; [loadingEvents release]; ConflictEventOperation *operation = [[ConflictEventOperation alloc] initWithParameters:wiLr.formNumber pWI_ID:wiLr.wi_id]; [queue addOperation:operation]; NSLog(@"Queue operations count = %d",[queue operationCount]); NSLog(@"Queue isSuspended = %d",[queue isSuspended]); NSLog(@"Operation isCancelled? = %d",[operation isCancelled]); NSLog(@"Operation isConcurrent? = %d",[operation isConcurrent]); NSLog(@"Operation isFinished? = %d",[operation isFinished]); NSLog(@"Operation isExecuted? = %d",[operation isExecuting]); NSLog(@"Operation isReady? = %d",[operation isReady]); NSLog(@"Operation dependencies? = %d",[[operation dependencies] count]); [operation release]; Now my operation do many things on the main method, but the problem is never being called. The main is never executed. The most weird thing (believe me, I'm not crazy .. yet). If I put a break point in any NSLog line or in the creation of the operation the main method will be called and everything will work perfectly. This have been working fine for a long time. I have been making some changes recently and apparently something screw things up. One of those changes was to upgrade the device to iOS 5.1 SDK (iPad). To add something, I have the iPhone (iOS 5.1) version of this application that use the same NSOperation object. The difference is in the UI only, and everything works fine. Any help will be really appreciated. Regards,

  • Could my iPad app be denied from the app store for using the Tapku library?

    - by Dr Dork
I'd like to use the Tapku library to add a calander date picker control to my iPad app. I'm new to iPhone OS development and I'm still rusty on identifying the 3rd party tools and code that will get my iPad app denied from the app store. For those that have used the Tapku library, would using it in my iPad app violate any app store rules? Thanks so much in advance for your help. I'm going to continue researching this question right now.

  • UITableView: Handle cell selection in a mixed cell table view static and dynamic cells

    - by AlexR
I am trying to mix dynamic and static cells in a grouped table view: I would like to get two sections with static cells at the top followed by a section of dynamic cells (please refer to the screenshot below). I have set the table view contents to static cells. Edit Based on AppleFreak's advice I have changed my code as follows: - (UITableViewCell *)tableView:(UITableView *)tableView cellForRowAtIndexPath:(NSIndexPath *)indexPath { static NSString *CellIdentifier = @"Cell"; UITableViewCell *cell; if (indexPath.section <= 1) { // section <= 1 indicates static cells cell = [super tableView:tableView cellForRowAtIndexPath:indexPath]; } else { // section > 1 indicates dynamic cells CellIdentifier = [NSString stringWithFormat:@"section%idynamic",indexPath.section]; cell = [tableView dequeueReusableCellWithIdentifier:CellIdentifier forIndexPath:indexPath]; } return cell; } However, my app crashes with error message Terminating app due to uncaught exception 'NSInternalInconsistencyException', reason: 'UITableView dataSource must return a cell from tableView:cellForRowAtIndexPath:' for section 0 and row 0. The cell returned from cell = [super tableView:tableView cellForRowAtIndexPath:indexPath] for section 0 and row 0 is nil. What is wrong with my code? Could there be any problems with my outlets? I haven't set any outlets because I am subclassing UITableViewController and supposedly do not any outlets for tableview to be set (?). Any suggestions on how to better do it? Edit II I have recreated my scene in storyboard (please refer to my updated screen shot above) and rewritten the view controller in order to start from a new base. I have also read the description in Apple's forum as applefreak suggested. However, I run in my first problem with the method numberOfSectionsInTableView:tableView, in which I increment the number of static sections (two) by one. - (NSInteger)numberOfSectionsInTableView:(UITableView *)tableView { return [super numberOfSectionsInTableView:tableView] + 1 ; } The app crashed with the error message: Terminating app due to uncaught exception 'NSRangeException', reason: '* -[__NSArrayI objectAtIndex:]: index 2 beyond bounds [0 .. 1]' Why is this code not working for me even though I followed Apple's and applefreak recommendations? It is possible that the tableView has changed a bit in iOS 6? Solution: I got this to work now using AppleFreaks code sample in his answer below. Thank you, AppleFreak! Edit III: Cell Selection: How can I handle cell selection in a mixed (dynamic and static cells) cell table view? When do I call super and when do I call self tableView? When I use [[super tableView] selectRowAtIndexPath:indexPath animated:NO scrollPosition:UITableViewScrollPositionNone] and try to check for the selected index paths with: UITableView *tableView = [super tableView]; if ( [[tableView indexPathForSelectedRow] isEqual:customGrowthIndexPath] ) { .. } I get an return value of nil. As I can't find the source of my error, I really would appreciate your help

  • iOS: Gesture recogniser for smooth scrolling and flicking a View

    - by AppleDeveloper
I am building an iPad app where I needed to allow resizing views functionality using divider view provided between two views. This divider view is just a 20px height view between two half screen content views - please refer attached images. When user scrolls this divider view up or down, both content views changes their sizes appropriately. I have extended UIView and implemented this using touchMoved delegate as code given below in touchesMoved delegate. It works fine. The only thing is missing with TouchMoved is you can't flick divider view to top or bottom directly. You have to scroll all the way to top or bottom! To support flicking the view I have tried UIPanGestureRecognizer but I don't see smooth scrolling with it. When I handle split position change in UIGestureRecognizerStateChanged state, just touching divider view flick it to top or bottom. Handling split position change in UIGestureRecognizerStateEnded does the same but I don't see content view resizing with dividerview scrolling! Could someone please tell me how could I achieve both smooth scrolling of divider view with resizing content views(like touchMoved) and flicking the view. Any alternative approach would also fine. Thanks. - (void)touchesMoved:(NSSet *)touches withEvent:(UIEvent *)event { UITouch *touch = [touches anyObject]; if (touch) { CGPoint lastPt = [touch previousLocationInView:self]; CGPoint pt = [touch locationInView:self]; float offset = pt.y - lastPt.y; self.parentViewController.splitPosition = self.parentViewController.splitPosition + offset; } } - (void)handlePan:(UIPanGestureRecognizer*)recognizer { CGPoint translation = [recognizer translationInView:recognizer.view]; CGPoint velocity = [recognizer velocityInView:recognizer.view]; if (recognizer.state == UIGestureRecognizerStateBegan) { } else if (recognizer.state == UIGestureRecognizerStateChanged) { // If I change split position here, I don't see smooth scrolling dividerview...it directly jumps to the top or bottom! self.parentViewController.splitPosition = self.parentViewController.splitPosition + translation.y; } else if (recognizer.state == UIGestureRecognizerStateEnded) { // If I change split position here, the same thing happens at end and I don't see my divider view moving with my scrolling and resizing my views. self.parentViewController.splitPosition = self.parentViewController.splitPosition + translation.y; } } Initial screen Increased top view size by scrolling divider view Top view is totally hidden here but I have to scroll divider view all the way to top. I want to flick the divider view so that it directly goes from any position to top

  • How to use the asin() function in objective c

    - by Daniel Thatcher
I am trying to use the asin() function in an iOS app to calculate an angle from the y axis. I am using trigonometry, but I must be doing something wrong with the asin() function, as when I try to pass in 0.707.... as asin(rotation) where rotation is a double equivalent to 0.707..., I get around 0.78....., where as my calculator gives me 44.991..., which is about correct from the variables passed in. What am I doing wrong, please can somebody help me?

  • How does UITableViewController knows its dataSource and delegate

    - by denniss
I am following the BigNerdRanch iOS Programming book and I am on this one chapter that deals with UITableViewController. I have been wondering however where UITableViewController finds out about its delegate and dataSource. Currently I have it as @interface ItemsViewController : UITableViewController <UITableViewDataSource, UITableViewDelegate> But there is nothing that looks like: [self.tableView setDelegate:self] I am just wondering how the UITableViewController finds out about its delegate and dataSource

  • How do I display alternate languages in Interface Builder? (Xcode5)

    - by Anthony F
The iOS project is using Base Localization with localizable strings set up for the Storyboard in English and German. Everything is working properly when I change the language for the simulator, but some of the text is getting truncated in German. I would like to view the German text in Interface builder so that it's easier to fix the constraints on the text labels and fields. It seems like this should just be a view setting or something, but I can't seem to find anything obvious.

  • Segment a CGImage

    - by mag725
Hi, In iOS 4.0 and later is there a way to segment a CGImage without loading the entire image into memory? What I am attempting to do is * programmatically* segment an image for use in a CATiledLayer application using large images, but I don't want to take up the memory involved in loading the full image. Also, is there a way to load that (or any) segment at a particular resolution, so if we are zoomed out from the image we can load that tile at a low level of detail, thus saving memory. Thanks! -Matt

  • Am I allowed to subclass UIWebView?

    - by Raja.Integrass
I just want to clear this up once and for all, is it ok to subclass a UIWebView? Will I ever have to be nervous about apple rejecting the app because of a UIWebView subclass? The documentation states: Subclassing Notes The UIWebView class should not be subclassed. But at the same time Apple contradicts itself with this WWDC video: https://developer.apple.com/videos/wwdc/2011/?id=511#rich-text-editing-in-safari-on-ios In slide 41 they specifically talk about subclassing a UIWebView Thanks in advance!
