  • Flex - Repeater Component with Grid Layout

    I have a randomly-sized array of items. I'd like to display one label for each item in a Repeater component. I want them to display in a grid layout with 5 columns and as many rows as needed. How do I do that in Flex / ActionScript? Maybe there's another way to do it that I haven't seen yet, so any suggestion are appreciated. Thanks!

    I am looking for a place where I can download a bunch of CSS stylesheets to change the appearance of my titles, links, paragraphs, etc. I am not an artist, so I am hoping to leverage other people's skills in choosing the right fonts, colors, sizes, etc. I do not want to include layout because then it won't be as generic. Does anyone know where I can get something like this?

Now this visually appears to be exactly what I needed. The problem is that I can't get toggle the checked state when I click on the listview item. Any solutions?

    My layout breaks if I change the window size in IE7/AOL, so I added a simple javascript function that fires on window.onresize, but no matter how I change the location I get problems. It was suggested I post a link and here it is: link text I already use PHP to detect browser and include an IE7-only inline stylesheet (and for mobile browsers), and my page looks nearly identical to the way it does in FF, Opera, Chrome, Safari and IE8, but when I change the window size, some things go wonky, and come back into line if you refresh. Any advice is welcome :)

    Hi, In netbeans I should want a layout like the second in this page : http://wiki.netbeans.org/WinsysLayoutFor65 The navigator is in bottom, left side. I can't do that. If I select menu Window/Navigating/Navigator, the navigators appears in the middle panel. If I drag drop it, it goes in left, or in bottom, but never in bottom left. How is it possible to put it in bottom left ? Thanks.

  • 2 column div layout: right column fixed width, left fluid, height relative to eachother

    I want a layout with two columns, two divs, where the left one has fluid width and the right one has fixed width. So far so good - see jsfiddle below - however, the height of the right column must be in relation to the height of the left column. So that if I have some content in the fluid column and would resize the browser window, thereby increasing or decreasing the height of the left column, the right one should follow and getting the same height.     Hello everybody, JQuery accordion animation (as well as simple hides / shows) looks weird with some browsers (IE, Opera). But Fire Fox and Chrome renders animation perfectly without artifacts. Html layout tends to shake with IE / Opera during animation as if surrounding paddings / margins are changed for small random value. How can I minimize this effect. Is it jquery bug or browsers issue?

    Given a PDF, how can one get the layout mode of a PDF (or relative width/height) using a PHP lib or linux command line tool? Using http://www.tecnick.com/public/code/cp%5Fdpage.php?aiocp%5Fdp=tcpdf which can set this variable on new PDFs, but for existing pdfs from adobe. Thought of converting pdfs to ps, or using gs in some other way - like converting it to an image first, and getting the width and height of that. Is this the best way?

    When I try to compile with sbt some code containing an instance of a Table from this library I get this error: java.lang.AssertionError: assertion failed: unsatisfiable cyclic dependency in 'class Toolkit' It seems to work with Java so I don't understand why it fails in Scala. It looks more or less okay in all browser, but the problem is, if a resize the window to a smaller size, sometimes the layout of the subnavigation layer is destroyed. Instead of getting smaller, all the elements are ordered more or less randomly. Any hints why?
